Apr 29, 2025A good stay, but not the RIU Palace vibe I expected
The RIU Palace Las Americas is a good hotel. It does differ quite a lot from the RIU Palaces I have visited in Europe, however. The atmosphere is very casual, and not as elegant or exclusive as RIU Palaces usually are. The dress code is not adhered to at all, not even in the Krystal restaurant. A good portion of guests are loud, and many take plates of food into their rooms, which is not hygienic and could attract cockroaches. The hotel itself is rather pretty. I really like the communal areas, although I do have some issues with the bedrooms. The bedrooms are dated and in need of minor repairs and modernisation. There are no USB chargers, no shaver sockets, and only two charging points in the room. Another point to note is that you must reserve a sunbed before 7 in the morning, or you are unlikely to find one later in the day. The quality of service here has been incredible, and the food fantastic. As a European, I would not return, as the atmosphere feels wrong and the distance is too far. I believe I would have a better experience in Europe or North Africa at a much lower price.

Apr 28, 2025Made my Bachelorette trip the most memorable trip of my life
The property was AMAZING!!! Everyone in the staff was so helpful and friendly. They even helped us taks photos and make videos. It literally felt like I've known these people for quite some time. Everyone had smiles on their faces the whole time. The food was so delicious. Our rooms were clean the whole time. Anytime we would go out for a couple of hours, They'll come and make our beds and make sure we are fully stocked on all the ameneties. I will be coming back for many more trips.

Amazing!
This was my first ever tropical vacation and even though it was not long enough I was amazed at how attentive and friendly all the staff were! The beach was absolutely stunning beautiful water and so clean, lots of lounge chairs at the beach and pool there were always seats available to relax and just enjoy the beauty this hotel offers. We attended 2 of the Riu party's and got our faces painted by talented artists, the rides to and from the party's were awesome. The talented dancers at our resort as well as were the party's were made great entertainment. The rooms we were in were beautiful and kept clean constantly. The restaurants were amazing with great service as well as the buffet amazing food options. I miss the great staff as well as the beautiful resort and can't wait to book another vacation i would come back and stay a month if I could. Thank you all for making my trip amazing!

Exceptional!!!
The Riu Palace Las Americas is class above all other hotels and resorts. Their staff go above and beyond what most resorts strive to achieve. The Director Laura Perez maintains a level of great service and amenities from the staff to the wonderful grounds, and the resort shows well because of the work they input.

Great service and wonderful location
Stayed in December and April and had a great experience both times! The food was wonderful and the service was exceptional.
