This was our second time at the Riu Kukulkan and we had a great week!! The resort is well kept and clean. The rooms are large and comfortable. The restaurants are good!! The staff is the best…Emmanuel by the pool, Ramiro in the bar cart in the lobby, Gabby and Jeramimo behind the lobby bar and Roger in the upstairs Lounge bar were employees who made our experience the best. Highly recommend!!

AWESOME RESORT. LOVED RIU; Don’t use TUI, the in house excursion company in the auditorium.
My family and I stayed at Riu Palace Kukulkan this past week (July 1-8). The resort is incredible. The staff, food, pools, ocean…all top notch. The only complaint I have is with TUI, the in house excursion company that is in the auditorium every morning. We paid for the ATV excursion to the centote. We were very specifically told to be downstairs at 10:40 am for pickup. The company no-showed. When we went to see what happened, Gina the sales rep wasn’t there, but another rep said she would be back the next day. The next day we went in and Gina told us, “you were supposed to be there at 7:40 am for pickup.” We told her that made no sense since we were never told this and our paperwork clearly says 10:40 am. She opened a yellow tablet and showed us a handwritten note that literally said “7:40” on it. No refunds, no other explanation, nothing. TUI is a joke and I’m just warning you, don’t use them. Find another excursion company for your tours.

LIONS IN PARADISE!
I am excited to share my feedback on my recent stay at the Hotel Riu Palace Kulkukan. My group from Lincoln University, PA, visited last week for our alumni trip, and everyone loved it. The resort's size was perfect for our group, making it easy to find each other and minimizing walking. The property is beautiful and exceptionally clean, with staff constantly maintaining it. Our Elite Club room was very nice, and we particularly enjoyed the size of the room and the rain shower. We also appreciated the beautifully decorated restaurants and the food. The Krystal Restaurant was our favorite meal. The Lobby Bar was always lively, and the Lounge Bar was an ideal spot for drinks, games, and photos. The resort's central downtown location made it convenient to walk to local shops and businesses. We also took advantage of the bus service to the Neon and Jungle parties, which, while not my taste, were a huge hit with the younger members of our group. Overall, we had a fantastic experience.

Amazing experience
My husband and I stayed at the Riu Resort Kukulkan in June and absolutely had a great time! The resort was stunning, the atmosphere was peaceful, and everyone on staff was incredibly kind and helpful. 💛 There was a little seaweed on the beach, but the staff worked hard every day to keep it clean—we really appreciated their effort! 🌊 waves were rough. We had one minor issue with our shower, but maintenance came quickly and fixed it right away. Great service and hospitality overall. Truly a relaxing and memorable getaway. We’d definitely come back! ☀️🌴

High quality and high value
We were celebrating a college class reunion. It was a multi-year/multi-generational reunion. The resort was very accommodating to us all. We’d definitely visit Rui Cancun again.
