Beautiful Resort
Riu Dunamar is a beautiful resort. The food, drinks, and staff were all wonderful. We were there for 15 days and loved it.

Great Stay at Riu Dunamar
Stayed for 7 days, 6 nights and the stay was great. Went with a few different families and the kids all had a great time. The resort is geared towards families, had a nice little water park, and a couple pool options for the kids. Able to leave the property for weekly parties at another adults-only resort. Property was very clean, you would wake up every morning to staff attending to the property which was nice to see. Food was good. More options at dinner time versus lunch or breakfast but the main buffet was very good. Not many late night food options would be my only spot for improvement, but the buffet was open until 10:30pm, so it wasn't really a problem. Overall, no complaints and would stay here again.

Riu Dunamar Jan 20-27
A beautiful property with lots of walking opportunity on the property and at another Riu next door. You could walk on the beach towards Cancun forever. Food was above average; specialty restaurants were excellent. The staff was fabulous. On a rainy day games and board games appeared in the lobby area.

I highly recommend
Excellent hotel to stay in any group composition: friends, family, with/without kids. Just choose left wing of the hotel (if you face the sea) if you travel with kids, it will be quieter at night parties’ time. Rooms allow to admire the sunrises and sunsets - awesome beauty that differs every day. Restaurant: you can find here several sorts of fish, beef, pork, chicken. Many side dishes, nice fruit table, but one with sweets could be much more refined. Breakfasts are exactly the same, but there is wide variety of food to choose from. Bar are open almost 24/7 and have wide range of alcohol. Very nice and friendly staff no matter where people work; very professional and cooperative reception. The only thing that shadowed my stay was that sudden fact that I was able to pay in local currency only. I am sure that many other tourists would greatly appreciate the possibility to pay in USD or Euro for hotel stay.

Too noisy!
This hotel is best suited to those who like a noisy, busy hotel. The disco is incredibly loud until 2 a.m and the pool bars play loud, thumping music from 10-5. That said, the entertainment was very good and the staff delightful. For us , sister hotel next door might have been preferable to our needs. After a fantastic holiday at another 5 star hotel, The Grand Palladium, last year, this hotel was disappointing
