    My wife and I had a great trip at Riu Dunamar. When we were there we always were able to find a pool or beach chair. Beautiful beach area. The facilities were kept very clean, and the staff worked hard. Lots of food and drink options. Food was often a bit bland, but could find something good, and adding sauces helped. Since the hotel had quite a few kids at it, we liked the quieter adults only pool. Limited amount of Hotel provided entertainment. This hotel is 30 mins away from Cancun, which limits the amount of things to do in the area.

    Not bad but not great but good

    Overall the experience was great but one thing I want to point out is the shampoo was very rough on my hair and damaged it a little but u could always get your own shampoo

    A busy place

    The beach was the best feature. The noise was the downfall for us. The restaurants were loud. The swim up bars were loud. Kids are not allowed in the swim up bar areas. I think it is a good decision. The staff work very hard. The resort is kept very clean. The food was good but keeping it warm in the buffet is always a challenge. It is s lengthy drive from the airport so if you’re bringing children be prepared

    The staff gave excellent service. A very excellent service by Elizabeth at the buffet, Sergio at the steak house and Monse at El Jardin.

    Hotel is far from any activities

    Hotel is well maintained and very clean but it's far from everything. There is nothing to do around. Food was good even though 2 persons in our group got sick. A la carte restaurant don't give options for payable upgrade meal (Ex. lobster) like at the Riu Palace. Our room was on ground level with a balcony facing bushes with no view on anything. This was disapointing. The spa facilities (jaccuzi and steam room) is open to everyone once a day for free which is nice but the temperature of the jacuzzi was only 90.
