Myself and wife (40s) stayed here for 10 days and we throughly enjoyed it. The hotel staff are amazing always friendly and attentive nothing was a bother to them. The food was also very good, a wide variety of choices for all meals and very appetising. We did eat out a few days but that was because of convenience not because we didn’t enjoy our meals. The entertainment was ok we didn’t particularly enjoy it but saw that many other people did and also the pools were very popular during the day with activities and drinking. We really liked this hotel for the fact that if you wanted to party there was plenty of it but also if you wanted to chill there are places for you to go, it was great having that choice! Location is spot on..only 5 mins walk to the local clubs, shopping etc The only downfall if I had to choose something was that the beds weren’t perfect…completely satisfactory so that we didn’t complain but that would be my only complaint. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone of any age. Thank you Riu Cancun you made our holiday!!

If you're 18 and can not handle your beer, then this is the hotel for you. The bar pool was disgusting it was so cloudy I did not even step in it. we had no sleep in 10 days, there's no smoking, no vapeing, no lilos, the noise at night was ridiculous the booting of doors instead of go getting a spare key the loud music from the next rooms every night putting people in a wheelbarrow when they was so dunk.i stay in the riu hotels all the time and this as got to be the worst I have ever stayed in people having sex in the pool during the day it was absolutely disgusting. The food was nice, though some very rude senior staff, but the waiters and waitress were lovely. That's all I have to say: I do not was to think about this hotel another moment so all done

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in
The absolute worst hotel my partner and I have ever stayed in, we lasted one day before upgrading. Totally disgusted in Tui advertising this resort as 5*, when in reality it’s 3* maximum. Upon arrival we were completely underwhelmed, after upgrading to a sea view suite, we walked into a partial sea view basic room, which was disgusting. There was mould, cracks in the walls and ceiling, dirt everywhere, chipped paint and a damaged mirror. The bathroom was disgusting. Balcony doors did not lock and only one number key worked on the safety deposit box, leaving our valuables vulnerable to anyone with access to our room. We then ventured down to the pool to see the rest of the resort / facilities and see if they were up to standard, we were left absolutely horrified and disgusted when we seen that the pool had vomit left unattended to for over 2 hours and a sun longer and table were also covered in thick, chunky, stinking vomit. We witnessed a life guard wash his hair in said vomit and continue to leave it! I would NEVER recommend staying in this hotel to anyone, it was disgusting absolutely everywhere and is not up to 5* standard. Dirty, dingy and unhelpful staff and we heard of couples having valuables stolen from their rooms too. Absolute disgrace. The hotel needs shut down, and I have formally complained to Tui and their CEO regarding the standards of the hotels they are advertising to the public. It was like being in magaluf in a 3* hotel. Disgusting. We ended up paying to upgrade to the Riu Palace Las Americas after 24 hours and were instantly much happier with the friendlier, safer and immaculate environment we were settled in.

Summer in Cancun
We had an amazing holiday evryone were so lovely, the place was beautiful and the food exactly what I needed. The only thing there was a bit of see wheed but the they took care every day so no botherd.
