Very fun resort to stay at. We met tons of people. The resort staff were very helpful and easy to get along with.

Amazing resort, there is something for everyone. Quiet pool, party pool, wade pool. The ocean is amazing so beautiful. The food was so so but we always found something good to eat. The service and cleanness is top notch. Some of the rooms need a little tlc. Our room was on the 14 flood and the view was spectacular. I am not one to return to the same resort but would definitely return to Riu Cancun.

Nice place for value
Service was impressive. Sea and beach are beautiful. Hotel itself is a little outdated, room and furniture unfortunately smelled like mildew, but I'm sure that's difficult to manage oceanside. Staff work hard to maintain the property, which can be appreciated. 3 pools, one with a swim up bar. 1 unheated whirlpool. We liked the buffet option for nearly early meal. One thing we thought was odd, is that all pools close at 7pm daily. Overall, nice spot.

Great stay again
Since being move here because of the reno at EIU Caribe it has become our go to resort for our vacations. It’s a great location shopping, restaurants, and nightlife within a 15 minute walk. Staff at the resort are the best and go out of the way to make sure your stay is great.

i called the receptionist the from the first day my wife and I were there to the last day that we left for some one to come fix the SMALL TV in our room that was out of service, but no one bothered to come. Very disappointed. Also, the bathroom needs to be changed...when showered water was splashing out on to the floor everywhere, had to use/replace 3-4 towels a day on floor... same was the room across from us too. The beds were terrible and couldn't sleep comfortably each night. However, the resort was perfect and very clean. Rooms just need to be updated.
