the service here is seriously unmatched. each staff member went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and have fun. i have never been to an all inclusive before, so i didn’t go in with high expectations but still, they were all so attentive, welcoming and friendly. each staff member was so sweet and caring. my only regret is not bringing enough cash to leave more tips (the ATM in the lobby was not working the duration of our stay) the food was ok, the drinks weren’t too strong (which was probably for the best, after seeing a few people had a few too many, but even then, the staff were assisting them and making sure they got to their room safely) it was a great time at the RIU!

Cancun is sensational. The beaches are beautiful, with pool-colored water and a very pleasant temperature. The peak season there is now, during their winter (25-27 degrees Celsius). The hotels are fantastic, and the excursions are too. I recommend: Chichen Itza, Tulum, and Isla Mujeres! I stayed at an all-inclusive resort (RIU CANCUN). There are several Rius there! The Riu Cancun is the largest and best located. Excellent facilities, on the beach with sensational pools (warm water) and a bar (open bar). Now, Cancun is a place for "hooking up." Many single men go there and drink too much. We didn't have any problems, but there was one day in particular when we left the pool early because the atmosphere was getting strange and I was with 3 women (my wife, my daughter, and a friend of hers). The food and drinks at an "all-inclusive" resort aren't excellent. They're reasonable. There's plenty of food, but the quality is a bit lacking, which was to be expected. Perhaps it's better to stay in a smaller, cheaper hotel and better enjoy the city's restaurants and bars. And it's easier to do sightseeing since you'll pay less for accommodation. The Mexicans are very cordial and polite everywhere. A very friendly and good-humored people. In short, it was sensational.

Riu Cancun
We had a great stay at Riu Cancun. The service was excellent from start to finish, with very friendly and attentive waiters and bartenders who really made us feel welcome. The views were beautiful, and there was always something to do, from beach volleyball during the day to the fun Riu Party events at night. The beach itself was clean and lively. The buffet food was a bit bland at times, but if you mixed the right ingredients, you could still make tasty nachos and other meals. Overall, a fun, relaxing resort with great energy.

Mother Daughter Trip
This was the perfect trip for Mom and daughters (19 and 22). The service was amazing, food was delicious, and entertainment was wonderful. We had fun morning til night and really enjoy relaxing on your beautiful beach!

a. The number of rooms will be deducted from the contracted allotments
b. Minimum Age requirement: 21 years of age or older.
c. The Hotel may request proof of age in the form of passport or official ID
d. Each room must submit a signed liability agreement upon check-in.
4. At all other RIU properties Student Groups / Spring Breakers (either groups or individuals, regardless of age) are not allowed at any time during the year.
5. Guests disturbing or generating complaints from other guests or hotel may be removed from the property, at their own expense.
