February Getaway
We arrived at the resort ~ 1:30 & we waited until almost 4 until the room was ready. We had to go back to the desk to check our room status. The room was dingy & needed updates. On 2 days, our room fridge & bar were not restocked & I had to get supplies from housekeeping down the hall. The food was good at the restaurants. Aside from the buffet, the service was slow and food was delivered that was warm at best. A few times we saw other people leave before main courses were tabled. The resort was not crowded, but weather drastically impeaded beach/pool time for all. There were plenty of activities with different interests. We preferred to converse with "friends" that we always seem to make on these trips. The views were great from the location. The staff was always friendly & courteous.

Disappointing
This place is the PITZ. It truly was terrible. When we arrived, our ac wasn't working toilet was constantly running, about an inch of dust on the fan, mirrors all beat up. I then went back down to the front desk to let them know about issues, I was then told "22 celsius is too warm for you?" In a really snarky manner and I responded "yes, it would be to most people" he followed up with "well our rooms don't get any colder than that." What shame in a 80 degree environment where the sun is directly beating in your room. I asked for a room change and was told "we don't have any" okay, so then stated I want my money back so I can stay elsewhere "well why? These are things that can be fixed" well I don't want to be sleepin in a hot room with a constant running toilet. All of a sudden a room came available! Moved rooms, this one wasn't as bad but lord, for what you pay, it shouldn't be looking like it hasn't been remodeled in 30 years. Mirrors were still almost to the point you could see in it, oh, and our thermostat was at 19.5. Strange, thought they didn't go lower than 22? Housekeeping was great at keeping up with everything and bar staff and buffet staff was absolutely amazing. Only downside was, food was always cold. It was okay quality. Pools overlooking the beach were amazing as well along with the nightly entertainment. Another thing we noticed was the elevators were constantly stopping and people were getting stuck and they were absolutely disgusting. Bodily fluids were on a few of the elevators. Rooms also have extremely thin walls. We could hear EVERYTHING. And when I say everything, I mean everything. Just a very uncomfortable place to stay in reality. All and all, I know there are other RIUS but I honestly can say we will never be back to one. This place likes to take your money and not stick it back in to the resort. Save your money and go elsewhere, this place is a waste of time.

Amazing!!!!!
Location was great!!! Staff was very helpful and nice. Food was delicious with many many options!!! Drinks were perfect. Suite was very clean but maybe a little updating for the tub/mirrors. Pool was cold. Asked different staff every day about the jacuzzi temp being turned on but no one would help or give reason why it wasn’t working.

Awesome Property with a few flaws
Overall the resort is beautiful. The rooms were fine other than the thin walls where we could hear our neighbors. Food was 6/10. Drinks 8/10. Money exchange shorten me and the cameras had to be run back. They owed me 1000 pesos but it was resolved.
