Jan 10, 2026Horrible manager. She needs to be fired.Extremely disappointed.
Today there were several people at the pool bar that were over served. Many people were vomiting on themselves and getting carried up to their rooms in a wheelchair. I am in medicine and helped the best I could with one woman who was very sick. The manager yelled at me that I was “drunk” and they were taking her to her room.I was 100% sober and the best option as I am NP. I told the manager that was unsafe and she needed to be taken to a clinic. She once again told me to go away and that they have “private doctors if needed”. Very unsafe all inclusive. Manager trying to cover herself in case something bad happens. Very dangerous and negligent management. Please take care of this issue ASAP

Excellent hotel. Excellent location. Fantastic staff. All workers work so so hard. Food was great. Breakfast was the best. Everyone is so nice. The rooms are nice. As expected...... My only criticism is the issue with sun beds. There are plenty of workers who could ensure sunbeds are not occupied with towels and never used. Other than that. I have recommended this hotel and I would go back. 10 minute stroll to the madness. Supermarket right across the road....... Oh the shop within the hotel is a complete rip off. Stick to the supermarket

Rooms need a bit of tlc. Our drawer handles kept falling off, fan was black with dust definitely needs a cleaning. Steakhouse was overated and not worth the wait, it actually made us sick. Great 18plus spot. Wasn't a crazy, drunken party scene. Excellent location for being able to walk off and be safe. Japanese restaurant hands down the best. Hot tub was broken which stunk since Jan nights there are cooler. Shows were eh. Pillows are small and very uncomfortable and the beds felt like the cheapest ones possible. Tv was way to small for the space but we weren't there to watch tv. Had it on twice due to football game and sick from dinner.

RIU Cancun 2025-2025
I was very impressed with this trip. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly and food was delicious. Overall I would visit the RIU Cancun again!

Everything wonderful!
Rio Cancun is a wonderful resort with delicious and varied food, but the best part is the service from the staff - everyone is smiling, attentive, and very friendly.
