What We Love
- No reservations needed at any of the restaurants.
- The spa, your escape-haven, with treatments that chase your worry right out to sea.
- The liquor dispensers in your room. You'll never go thirsty.
- Their mantra that rings true, "Service with Heart."
- The kids' club with a pool and a playground so you can take a much needed breather.
- The way the resort is bungalow-style and oh-so beachy. Big points for exterior style.
- The soothing sauna at the gym - perfect for chilling after your very productive workout.

After our flight being delayed and travelling all day we arrived at Riu Bambu. Immediately upon arrival we could tell that is was going to be a great holiday! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, showing us where to go to our rooms. Bags arrived about 5 minutes after us, so was perfect. We unpacked and went for dinner, the staff in the restaurant we’re lovely, we left a tip on the first night then the following nights after the table we sat on had decorations all over it! It was incredible. All the restaurant were fantastic, our favourite was the steak house! The staff in all restaurant were lovely. The room were very spacious, and clean. We had a plumbing issue on one of the day that it rained but we rang reception and someone was with us within 2 minutes. Only problem that we did have was that the water slides weren’t very stable and I ended banging my head badly and knocked myself out but this isn’t a issue with the hotel as it is the site water park. We absolutely loved everything about this hotel, that we have already booked to go back next year! See you next year
Dangerous slides. The edges are sharpe. I cut my hand and wrist on the blue bowl slide. As I came out the end. My hand and wrist was slit open and poured with blood. First aid was given. The staf was very caring. However Tui or the hotel claim they was not at fault. This happened in October 2018. However. It’s took this long for me to write a review as it took them so long on there reply from my email I sent to complain they claim it’s my fault for using the slide. Most slides was safe to use. But I would highly recommend the bowl being out of use if it hasn’t been adjusted.
very nice place!
I'd recommend this place to everyone. Many pools, fresh towels, clean room, kind staff, many restaurants, great food (big choice), close to the beach, a lot of atractions, many palm trees which make the stay there really good. I felt really relaxed and so happy when i was there. You can take part in many attractions (pool parties, aquapart, activities), people who work there are really nice. Also you can go to every resort there (I think there were 5) and use their attractions as well! Unforgettable moments! 😊
This was a wonderful holiday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel was spotless, food excellent, and entertainment during the day was brilliant. You could join in or just watch. Hand sanitisers were all at the entrances of every restaurant and in the toilets, so we used them all the time.
2nd visit just as good
We stayed here a year ago and were fortunate enough to go again this year. Lovely lovely staff especially Caesar in the MamaJuana restaurant at lunchtimes. Clean and well kept. A beautiful beach. Great food in Mexican, Asian, Spanish and Italian restaurants as well as both buffets. Bar staff very friendly and maids/cleaners all great. Beautiful beach. Fantastic value for money and cannot fault the hotel. Just so sad for them that everything has had to wind down due to the pandemic. I hope they are back to full strength in no time. Plenty of quiet areas if you want them and lots going on if you want entertainment. I would go back again anytime. Probably the best value for money around. Not a european 5 star but nonetheless a really lovely, well kept, welcoming, beautiful place offering everything you need plus that little extra.
