Relaxing
If you are looking for a resort to relax the entire stay this resort is for you . If you are looking to party the entire time you may want to look elsewhere . The rooms are pretty spacious however barely any outlets in the room to charge phones . All the bartenders are so welcoming . We had the pleasure of meeting many wonderful people like Presio the bartender, Alexis and Mileny. The buffet was good for breakfast . The resort restaurants were ok for what it’s worth I mean it’s all included in the price so don’t expect nothing over the top . We left the resort a couple of times to go get an actual good meal . We went to Delicia de bavaro it’s just a 10 min uber ride . Food took a long time to be brought out but it was fresh and absolutely DELICIOUS. There’s no real drinks so if you’re looking for actual alcohol order a beer . Bring cups (yetis , Stanley’s ) we noticed people brought their own cups for the bartenders at the resort to make their drinks in them which was pretty smart . Room key cannot be next to anything such as cellphones , near any other cards etc otherwise it would not work which was such an inconvenience. Other than that it was such a great relaxing stay! I’m

Not a 5 star- VERY DISAPPOINTED
We chose this resort after reading numerous glowing 5-star reviews and being drawn to its adults-only promise. Unfortunately, our experience did not match the expectations set by those reviews — especially for what was meant to be our honeymoon. I am extremely confused at how this Resort has more than one star by anyone and I question the authenticity of other reviews. Food & Dining – 1/5 The food was consistently poor in quality and extremely repetitive. Most meals featured variations of pork and soggy vegetables. Burgers were often undercooked, cheese had a plastic-like taste, and the omelet grill left an unpleasant aftertaste. Bacon was offered just once during the week, and lunch often felt like a reheated version of the previous night's dinner. The pasta station was the only consistently edible option, but eating it daily quickly became tiresome. At the Caribe buffet (which we had access to), food variety was better, but it was chaotic — overcrowded to the point of guests physically pushing and shoving. My husband often resorted to only eating French fries and rice due to the overwhelming atmosphere. Buffet staff were so miserable and slow with their service as well making it very unpleasant. Service & Staff – 2/5 Service was a major disappointment. Many staff appeared unmotivated, and some were outright dismissive — including a bartender at the pool who rolled his eyes at guests. Very rude. There was also a significant language barrier; without Spanish, basic communication became frustrating and led to unfulfilled requests. We met another guest who suffered food poisoning from the seafood restaurant and was ill in her room for three days — staff provided little to no support. Noise & Ambience – 1/5 The resort plays extremely loud music on the beach and in the lobby until midnight. It was so loud it caused the windows in our room to shake. We were unable to sleep until the music stopped. Despite several complaints, the volume remained unchanged, and staff showed no willingness to address the issue. Usually at a resort there’s an area that has a show- but here it’s loud music where they force people to dance till midnight. Room & Facilities – 2/5 Our air conditioning worked but leaked large amounts of water, creating a slip hazard. Housekeeping was inconsistent — some days our room wasn't cleaned until late afternoon. The beach was completely unusable due to overwhelming seaweed buildup and a terrible smell. Despite claims of daily cleanup, the issue remained throughout our stay. The pool was also in poor condition — with cracks, peeling paint, and green slime on the steps. We even saw guests wearing water shoes in the pool, which we've never seen at any other resort. Excursions – 1/5 We booked a "party boat" excursion through Sunwing that was advertised as adults-only. Not only were we picked up an hour late, but the boat was filled with children and severely over capacity. Again, seaweed was a problem — even in the open water. Flights – 2/5 Our return flight with WestJet offered no power outlets, Wi-Fi, or in-flight entertainment — despite these being advertised features of the Sunwing vacation package. Final Thoughts This was meant to be a luxury 5-star honeymoon experience, but it felt more like a low-budget trip. From poor food and unresponsive service to unacceptable noise levels and dated facilities, the resort failed to deliver on nearly every front. We were incredibly disappointed and would not return or recommend this property to others looking for a true 5-star experience.

Room 4110 lots of issues
We are currently at this hotel and I wanted to give a good review , the staff, the food and entertainment are all really good, however the room and the maintenance are rubbish, we have been waiting 3 days to get the tv fixed, the AC leaks from the ceiling, the doors to the wardrobe are knackered and don't slide open, the phone doesn't work and now the patio door has fallen apart and is dangerous, did report this last night and they fixed it but as soon as I tried to slide it open it broke again. The rooms are really tired and need full renovation are plenty of other reviews saying the same thing, such a shame as they are big and well presented . The food, drink and facilities are all ok but this is not a 5 star hotel at the moment. Also beach is full of mountains of seaweed. Really disappointing as was hoping for much better.

Was a wonderful stay.We will come back
my husband and I traveled here from june 18 for7 days. We are here at the moment. We have no complaints. Our room was fine. Our maid is fantastic. We gave her a good tip, and she acknowledged us with 100% Service, always had towels. Our room was clean. It is fantastic. Beer and extra water was always in he fridge. The food is great. There's always something different to eat. The restaurants do not need reservations so you have options. No stress. The beach does have seaweed but that's the season and you can swim, always someone in the ocean. Grounds are beautiful. Great bartenders. They make drinks right!! It's quiet..a must for us. Pool is big and cool, not gross warm. The service is like anywhere else when they do something for you tip, They appreciate it and it will come back to you with better service. Exchange rate s better here. We did tip money in canada, but who knew. Now we know and so do you. Overall, we have no complaints. Everything was above what we expected. We're coming back.

I regret that I went to this resort. 1 star - it is unbiased rating
I am not sure why and where all these raving reviews were coming from. I am going to start off by saying I choose this hotel to go with my brother because of these positive reviews. The hotel is adult only and I was happy. The rooms are specious with balcony. After giving a tip of 20$ I asked for a room closer to the ocean. We got a room on a 3rd floor - no elevator. The room is nice but they don’t clean it until almost 5 pm. Housekeeping forget to bring towels or shampoo and I had to call the reception desk. The hotel has several restraints: Swiss, Italian, Steak house and main Buffet. The food I would rate as 2 stars. It is the same every day. The guy who makes your eggs for breakfast has a face that you want to avoid even asking about something. Steak house has everything except steak! Good thing - you don’t need reservation- you can walk in just like that. Now let me tell you about beach. We couldn’t swim there because of ton of sea grass. Hotel doesn’t clean it daily as should, justifying it - well it’s a season! When we have a snow in CT - we clean it! When leafs are falling down- you clean it! I will attach pictures of the see grass and it was everywhere in addition to horrible smell rotten smell with many flies around it. The water that supposed to be ( accordingly to their website pictures) is brown! Now let me tell you about customer service: people working there don’t care at all. I called for towels: they stated - no more call tomorrow. We had toilet not flushing - called customer service - they said that maintenance will come - never came. We had a day with no water at all, security safe wasn’t working and the rooms are hot. Ac doesn’t work properly. Their animation team is the only light and I am giving this place a star - for them. They are trying to do the best they can to entertain the crowd, however they also come to everyone and asking people to leave them 5 star reviews. This hotel doesn’t do any show, there is not even a stage there. The good thing is: this hotel is connected with another one princess Deluxe tropical. You can take a trolley and go there. You can also reserve a restaurant over there: Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, etc. the other hotel also has life entertainment that starts at 9.30pm every night. However, not too many people know that. At the end I want to say - please read my review before purchasing this place. You will regret.
