Old gross rooms
the rooms are so old and not kept up with. We had to change rooms three times. First one smelled and had no electricity, second time the room was flooded with one inch of toilet water. Long wait times for all Food and drinks, service hit or miss. Would not recommend.

Great way to end 2025!
We had a great, relaxing time. We were without hot water for a couple of days which was bad, but overall the experience was positive. The pillows are in serious need of an update, even after ordering from the pillow menu. Room was spacious and staff everywhere were very friendly. Could do without the people trying to get you to do the timeshare presentation. They were a little pushy and annoying. Manuel and Arizbeth at the Sky Pool made our week! They were so fun and their service was outstanding. The views were incredible and we saw so many whales.

No Bueno
Not sure why this is rated a 4.5 (Yelp rates it a 2.7) resort and let me just give you a heads up on why…it’s massive. In a bad way. Check in was a mess. Crowded and slow. Immediately after check in I was bombarded with time share harassment. The room was VERY dated. Dark and only one towel. House cleaning had a hard time replenishing anything. Hallways were gross with dishes piled up. Headed to the pool the following morning and pool towels were gone by 10:45 AM. NONE! If you do not pay for all inclusive, you will be paying for WiFi daily. What resort makes you pay for WiFi? I have never experienced this in Mexico. This resort nickels and dimes you for everything. If you do end up getting all inclusive, it starts at noon and ends at noon. For example if you depart for the airport on your last day at 3:00, your AI ends at 12. Food at this resort was below average. Our family is gluten free and ended up glutenized. Not surprised. The up charge at LaFreida was a joke. Food was mid and expensive. $78 for a “specialty marg” is insane. STAY AWAY & EFFFFEN RUNNNNN

Good time overall.
Ilias driving the golf cart was great. Always had a smile and was willing to help with any ride. Frankie in the lobby was a gem, was so nice to see his face almost daily. The beds need lots of work, it was so hard that we had to ask for a topper which helped a bit. Pool bars should open before 10! Can’t drink all Day if you don’t start in the morning.
