    Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach is not what we were expecting!

    Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach is not a five-star resort. If you’re expecting great food and attentive service, this is not the place. The resort is very spread out, and you must rely on golf carts to get everywhere. We spent a lot of our vacation waiting for carts or walking uphill, which quickly became frustrating. The food was mediocre at best, and many of the servers were rude or inattentive. Although this is advertised as an all-inclusive resort, you still have to pay extra per person to dine at Frida and the Quivira Steakhouse, which was disappointing. Our room was spacious and the AC worked well, but the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. I requested a mattress pad and was initially told none were available. After pushing, a down comforter was sent, which did not help. The shower head also needs to be replaced, it sprayed water in multiple directions. For a resort marketed as family friendly, there was very little for kids to do. The highlight of our stay was the main pool, where Miguel and Carlos took excellent care of us for five days. Our drinks were always full, and their service was outstanding. They truly made the trip more enjoyable.

    Enjoyed our stay

    The resort is in need of updating…badly. The rooms are very dated and the AC is so loud. Other than that we enjoyed ourselves and had excellent customer service. The staff were so attentive and friendly. The food was good too with so many restaurants to choose from. We swam in 3 of the pools and the water was comfortably warm. We usually travel further South when in Mexico so we’re not sure if and when we’ll visit again. I do recommend staying at any of the Pueblo Bonito Resorts.

    Omar and Carlos Pool 26 !!!!

    Once again the Pool 26 Team knocked it out of the park! Omar, Carlos, and team always take fantastic care of us at that amazing pool. Their service is always consistent, professional, and courteous! Views are amazing, but the guys are even better! Thank you Carlos and Omar !!!!! Allan and Debbie

    Jean is the best bar tender !!!

    Jean was amazing !!! He made sure we had a drink in our hand before we even know we needed one! We’ve traveled the world, Jean provided some of the best service we have ever had! When you book here, make sure you you have some time at the main pool with Jean, you won’t be sad !!!

    Top notch service from a wonderful staff

    The check in process was speedy and smooth. The staff is very friendly and enjoys serving the guests. The numerous pools make it easy to get a chair. The service at the 26 pool is the best overall. The entire team at that pool makes it worth the effort to get a chair. We love this resort!!
