  Strong Service Turned Things Around

  Our experience at Sunset Beach was overall very enjoyable, though it did not start off smoothly. For the third year in a row, we had to request a room change upon arrival because the initial room was not up to standard. That was disappointing, especially since this has been a recurring issue. However, once we brought it to their attention, the staff handled it well and made things right by promptly accommodating us in a better room. Once settled, the remainder of our stay was great. The resort is beautiful, food enjoyable, and the atmosphere is relaxing. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit, which truly made a difference. A special shout-out to Alejandro #38 and Brian #62, two of the BEST golf cart drivers on the property. They were kind, professional, and always welcoming, their excellent service stood out and added a personal touch to our experience. Despite the rocky start, we enjoyed our stay and appreciate the team’s efforts to ensure guest satisfaction.

  Loved it

  I absolutely loved this hotel and had an amazing overall experience from start to finish. The atmosphere, amenities, and views were incredible, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service. A special shoutout to Jose, the bartender at the Sky Pool bar — his service was truly top tier. He was friendly, attentive, and made every drink perfectly while creating such a welcoming and fun vibe. Jose went above and beyond to make our time at the Sky Pool unforgettable, and his professionalism and energy really elevated our entire stay. I would absolutely return to this hotel and highly recommend it, especially if you get the chance to be served by Jose. Amazing service all around!

  Great bell service

  We had great experience with the bell service for our shuttle from the hotel to airport. Kudos to Jaciel and Isai taking care of our luggage and get us onto the shuttle bus. Great smiles and very welcoming.

  Spectacular service

  The service was spectacular! Marco’s Omar and Carlos the bartenders at pool 26 were the best. They never let your glass get empty Alajandro was Johnny on the spot with his golf cart. Anytime I needed a ride. He is a great guy! I would highly recommend this place.

  Great 25th Wedding Anniversary Get Away!!

  The room is beautiful with a gorgeous view. Very clean and well kept. The hot tub did need cleaned out, but maintenance came same day to clean it. We had great service at the main pool - thanks to Ulises, Erick, and Angel - they are excellent. The restaurants were phenomenal as well. We walked almost everywhere the grounds are so pretty and just felt great to get out of the rain in Oregon. We attended the owners meeting. This is probably my only complaint. We have been taken advantage of so many times buying an extra week but ending up with something that isn’t an extra week. We have a hard time trusting in the sales people. So although we liked what was presented although a little higher than what we wanted to pay but we didn’t feel confident we would receive what was offered. I think Pueblo Bonito can improve on their sales people’s level of transparency & integrity. In spite of our lack of trust with sales staff we had a fabulous time. Thank you 😊
