What We Love
- The Sky Pool is incredible and offers sweeping views of the sea plus top-notch drink service. It's also a beautiful and unexpected spot to tie the knot.
- The resort's tranquil atmosphere provides the ultimate escape from reality.
- The perks with sister properties make this spot feel like three resorts in one!
Things to Know
- Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort & Spa is a secluded hideaway for rejuvenation but has tons happening on-site, with six swim-up bars and five pools.
- The Sunset Beach Kids Club is the perfect place for kiddos to have their fun too.
- You can enjoy golf all day with oceanfront views. Sounds like a win-win.
You can stroll or enjoy a good book and a tropical cocktail from Manila Bar, located on the private sands of Pueblo Bonito at Sunset Beach. Due to strong undertows, swimming at the resort's beach is prohibited, but a complimentary shuttle is available to transport guests to Pueblo Bonito's sister resort, where you'll find ample safe waters on Medano Beach. Don't feel like traveling? The resort has you covered with five freeform swimming pools, five Jacuzzis, shady loungers and six swim-up bars.
When you're thinking about what to eat, flavors abound at La Nao's a la carte breakfasts, Sunday brunch and theme night dinners. From Monday's Mexican buffet with live music to Saturday's coveted prime rib special, each meal is a wonder. For after-dinner drinks, enjoy the open-air, ocean-view terrace of The Lobby Bar.
If you want even more options, you're in luck. In total, you'll have access to 32 different dining options and 14 bar options thanks to the shuttle service that connects you to each of the sister resorts (Sunset Beach, Rose, PB Los Cabos & Quivira Golf Club). With all those culinary options, you'll have your plate full with delicious food to sample and tasty cocktails to sip.

Fun family vacation, great setting and attention to children's needs
Manuel Caro, our frequent waiter at LaNao was not only attentive and kind but went out of his way to care for our 3 year old grandson. We appreciate his efforts and really enjoyed our dining experiences with Manuel as waiter.
Amazing Destination Wedding!
My wife and I were married at this resort last year and we couldn't have hoped for more a beautiful wedding. Although there were some issues that came up that were out of the resort's control, they went over and above expectations to fix them. Our wedding coordinator Marisol was terrific and helped us navigate the wedding process with ease. Our wedding weekend was amazing. The resort is absolutely beautiful and all the pools and restaurants at Sunset are spectacular. I would suggest this hotel for anyone as it has something for all ages. We can't wait to return. Thank you for wonderful memories PB!
Wedding Destination NIGHTMARE
My brother and future SIL planned to get married here in Nov. 2020. I offered to help with their planning. Off the bat, to reel us in, the communication was great...timely emails, all questions answered efficiently, etc. Then, once the contract was signed and we shifted from the sales to the planning team, everything went downhill. We signed the contract in Nov. 2019, one year out. We thought the planning would be quick, easy and we'd be done long before the wedding. HA! Emails do not get answered for weeks to months. Currently, it has been 10 WEEKS since our last correspondence with our coordinator. We still have nothing accomplished besides booking the photo and videographer b/c we book those on our own. The DJ we want has to get permission from the resort before we can book and to no surprise, the DJ cannot get a hold of our planner. Beyond the lack of communication we have been caught in 2 separate instances that have been contradictory to what we were told at an earlier stage. 1) the cost of certain things and the 2) the timing/availability for the venues the day of the wedding. We've tried to clear up both issues but as stated previously, I haven't received a communication in 10 weeks (well before the covid issues began). The weddings may turn out beautifully, but the planning process of being left in the dark for months on end is not worth the headache. I would advise any bride to make sure that they are ok with crossing their fingers and praying that things work out.
Gorgeous ocean views and excellent service
We stayed at Sunset Beach at the beginning of the pandemic. We enjoyed awesome ocean and whale views everywhere! Service was friendly and efficient. Food was delicious. We were lucky that the occupancy level was low because of travel restrictions. The hotel staff were very careful about social distancing guidelines and antibacterial gel was available everywhere. Most resort restaurants had to close as days went by. We had a wonderful time!
Our favorite place to go!
This is a large resort that offers very nice rooms, fantastic food choices and is off the busy beach. We have gone here for 7 years. There are many pools to choose from and if you are a beach walker, the beach is fantastic. Note, you cannot swim in the ocean due to the heavy under currents. As part of the PB chain, you can take a complimentary bus to/from the sister resorts in town on Medano Beach. I have not golfed here yet, but it looks to be a fantastic experience.
