Carlos, Florinda, Marco (Manager) and Javier helped make our experience while staying at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach amazing! Everyone within the Siempre restaurant and Pisacdos always made us feel very welcomed!

Amazing food, and gorgeous view
While staying at the Pacifica, we were told to try La Freda at sunset. We booked a table for five and sat on the balcony right as the sun was going down. The view alone would’ve been worth the up charge. But let me tell you, the food was spectacular. They have a mixologist that comes to your table and make sure drinks. They bring out a small sample to try a dish and also offer a pallet cleanser before your main meal. Our pallet cleanser that day was mango ice cream. We usually go to the steakhouse so I was reluctant to order a steak here. But it exceeded all my expectations. The steak was phenomenal as were all of my friend’s meals. We all agreed this is our new favorite place to come. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Nov 17, 2025Feral Cats at Pueblo Bonitos
The beach front room was a 5 star location. The lack of hot water was an issue. The main thing that upset me and my friends is that they didn't fix the sweet feral cats on the property. Guests enjoyed them but I can only guess as to why there are not 500. A month ago the black momma cat had 4 kittens. Now 1. It would be so easy! I could have them all fixed within a month if they would allow it! I tried at Emerald Bay. They don't want traps or a humane solution. Do better Pueblo Bonito!

We always enjoy our stay.
We are owners at Montecristo resorts and always enjoy our stay. I have read some negative reviews about the food, maintenance and wi-fi problems. We have been going for two weeks yearly and have had a few problems but nothing serious, and never with the wi-fi. Over the years we have found our favorite restaurants there, including their sister resorts, Rose and Los Cabos. We love anlmost everything that we have ordered. And I want to give out a special shout out to a particular waiter we had for breakfast…Denilson. He works in The Bistro and Lafrida. Sometimes we order suite service that gets delivered quickly. Our last stay this month we did experience a few maintenance problems but they were quickly resolved. All in all the resort has beautiful views, gorgeous landscaping and a very attractive lobby with all their antiques.

Nayely Allerdi, our lovely housekeeper in Suite 1322, made our stay at Sunset Beach extra special. Not only did she make sure our rooms were sparkling clean, she surprised us with a different adorable towel creation each day. Her warm smile and gracious manner were a true delight - another example of the truly outstanding staff at PB Sunset Beach.
