  Rose is lovely!!

  Great location right on the beach. Close 8 minute walk to the marina. Pools and food access to sister property, Los Cabo Blanco, too.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 — Exceptional Service and Incredible Food at Sunset Sushi Sunset Sushi at Pueblo Bonito Rose is one of our absolute favorites, thanks to the outstanding team that makes every visit special. Julio, the manager, goes above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect from start to finish. Anna and Samuel provide impeccable service, always friendly, attentive, and ready to make thoughtful recommendations. Rut, the hostess, welcomes every guest with a smile and makes you feel like family the moment you arrive. The food is consistently high quality…fresh sushi, crispy spring rolls, flavorful Thai salad, and perfectly cooked fried rice. Everything is beautifully presented and delicious. Don’t forget to pair your meal with their Sauvignon Blanc — it’s a must! We also appreciate how carefully the staff accommodates all dietary needs and preferences without hesitation. Every visit feels personalized, relaxing, and memorable. If you’re staying at Pueblo Bonito Rose, Sunset Sushi is a can’t-miss dining experience.   Beautiful Location, But Too Many Disappointments

  The location of this resort is convenient, and having access to their sister hotels is definitely a plus. However, our overall stay was disappointing for several reasons. Rooms: We were given a room that wasn’t what we were promised, and even after the change, we only somewhat liked the partial ocean view. The room had two double beds instead of one king, and though the staff offered to push them together, no one wants to sleep in the “crack” between two beds. The furniture, decor, and paint throughout the room are in need of serious updating. On top of that, the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable — my husband and I woke up with backaches every day. Restaurants: Unfortunately, eating at the resort was a challenge due to the overwhelming number of flies in the restaurants. It’s difficult to enjoy a meal while constantly swatting them away. Outdoor dining wasn’t much better because of both flies and mosquitoes. The one bright spot was room service — it was quick, well-prepared, and our meals were enjoyable in the comfort (and peace) of our room. Beach: The beach was nearly impossible to enjoy because of the constant harassment from vendors trying to sell items. Even relaxing for a few minutes felt impossible. To make matters worse, a hurricane passed through during our stay, and the beach became contaminated with storm drain debris and waste, leaving behind a horrible stench that made it difficult even to breathe. Staff: Service at the lobby was inconsistent — it depended on who was working and what mood they were in. However, the cleaning crew deserves credit; they were polite, friendly, and consistently did a great job. Biggest Downside: The relentless pressure from staff to attend timeshare presentations was exhausting. Repeatedly saying “no” meant nothing, and we felt constantly bothered throughout our stay. Overall, while the location and sister resort access are positives, the negatives far outweigh them. Between the hard beds, maintenance issues, constant sales pressure, and poor dining environment, this is not a resort I would return to or recommend.

  Only "Average" This Trip

  We stayed Rose the first week in Sept. 27-Oct. 4. The location of Rose and Blanco are great since you can walk to restaurants and it has a swimmable beach. Unfortunately, there were a few restaurants closed for kitchen maintenance, so we were limited in the all-inclusive for dinner choices. Had we known that, we may not have paid for the all-inclusive. The rooms are clean but need to be updated. There was a musty odor in the room upon arrival, that was not pleasant. That was probably due to the AC not running for a while? We were offered another room, but it smelled the same. That smell permeates the bedding and pillows, so we had them changed. It did help slightly, but still a slight odor. Staff is always great and helpful. This was my 4th year staying at Rose and the only time I can't give it an "Excellent" rating.

  We had a great time

  All around an excellent stay. The staff is so kind and accommodating. The beaches are annoying with people constantly asking you to buy souvenirs. They literally block your ocean view. Very annoying. We we given a room originally that smelled like mildew and mold. We asked for another room and were given an amazing room With a wonderful view and smell free! We ended up having a great time.
