What We Love
- Kelly's Bar has fun African hunt club, safari-style decor, really great burgers, fine tequilas and a long list of out-of-this-world martinis.
- The Armonia Spa provides the perfect escape from the world with soothing treatments.
- There's a on-site fitness center and running path to keep your beach bod in tip top shape.
Things to Know
- Pueblo Bonito Resort at Emerald Bay offers room service and a kids' club.
- You can't swim on the beach at this resort, but there's a complimentary shuttle to a nearby beach.
- This resort is not adults-only, so it's the perfect place to bring the whole fam!
Dip your toes in the frothy ocean along the picturesque shoreline of the resort's private beach. If you're looking to spend the day playing in the waves with the kids, hop on one of the resort's complimentary shuttles to a lovely swimmable beach nearby or let the kiddos splash around in the resort's children's pool while you float below 150-year-old mangroves that surround the resort's three infinity pools. Before heading off to dinner, grab a drink from the swim-up bar (there's one in every pool) and slip into the Jacuzzi for a soak to the chatter of native birds.
The culinary delights of Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay include delicious restaurants, including two delis, the casual open-air Emerald Grill, Kelly's Bar and the buffet, La Cordeliere. For a romantic dinner, try the modern fusion offered at The Bistro, where the view is spectacular from the waterfront terrace and a sommelier is on hand to help with the extensive wine list. Or hop on a shuttle for the quick ride to Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan, where you can dine at the restaurants or grab a drink at the bars. Between Emerald Bay and her sister resort, you'll have 11 restaurants and 6 bars to surround yourself with tasty food and drink.
Let the kids chill out at the kids' club where they can watch movies, play board games and arts-and-crafts the day away while you and your honey visit the full-service Emerald Bay Spa. Pamper yourself with an aromatherapy treatment and massage or get gussied up for a night out at the beauty salon while the guys head off on a fishing expedition or hit the greens at one of Mazatlan's four outstanding golf courses, including the championship 18-hole El Cid Mazatlan. Looking to get in a workout? Head to the lighted tennis courts for an evening family tennis match or stop into the resort's fitness center to work up a sweat before heading back to your suite for some good old R&R.

The Best Customer Service Experience
Renee Toledo in the Pueblo Bonito reservations center was excellent to work with. After several attempts to straighten out our travel plans with other representatives (and several emails and phone calls) Renee listened to my situation and was able to correct our reservations and plans with one phone call. She did an amazing job and went above and beyond to provide customer service. I will definitely contact her for all of my future travel plans. Thank you Renee. Stay safe and God Bless you. Counting the days
Here it is June 1st and we are counting the days until we can get back to this slice of heaven. I hope Arturo Diosdado has a fishing trip planned for David as Arturo knows the best times and the best people to book those fishing trips. Also looking forward to Mario down at the beach who helps David with his beach fishing. Our "family" at PBEB takes such good care of us and the Elite program is fantastic as the group takes care of everything for us including not having to check in or out at the front desk, exchanging money, making dinner reservations, and giving us lots of attention and love.
Home Away From Home
We’ve been to Emerald Bay every May for at least 15 years. This year because of Covid-19 we had to miss going to our home away from home. We so miss being there and can’t wait to get back. Some of the rooms could use updating, but the employees are the best in Mexico. We especially love all the guys at Kelly’s Bar (Oskar, Alejandro, Fernando, Juan Luis and Jorge) and the guys at the adult pool (Chicho, Jose and Jose, Jorge) and our old friend Alberto that used to be at the adult pool but is now at the big pool. Everyone we have come in contact with there is kind and welcoming and we miss them all so much. The grounds of this hotel are outstanding. We can’t wait to go back!
everything is great, however, thy have stopped the small details that make hotel a bit more special such as no longer providing chocolate mint in bed or the towel art. I stay in this resort almost every year and this past 2019 I was disappointed in those missing details. Also in the far part of the hotel there should be more transportation to guests as its so far.
We have been going here for about 5 yrs, at least a couple of times a year. We really love the setting, the staff (especially Karla - concierge, Jose - waiter, Carlos - waiter (very personal service!), Sweetie - hostess, and Ivan - driver. Ivan went out of his way our last visit several times to be sure all of our needs were met. Karla even shopped in advance for us and substituted for the things the store was out of. We are so happy we made the decision to make this our prime vacation spot. We love that families from all over the world come here to relax - people of all nationalities and all ages. Perfect spot! Room accommodations - very comfortable, and if something is broken, they send someone right away to fix it. For instance, one of our shutters had a hinge that was broken, and it got fixed within hours. One of our shower heads had poor flow - fixed same day. Restaurants have very good food and enough variety to satisfy your family for a week for sure. The pools are very clean and really beautiful, and the setting with the sunsets will make you want to come back and bring friends or family.
