After 20 years they have let everything but the grounds go to hell ie: adult pool jacuzzi now has only 1 functioning jet. Many other issues with the spa and rooms.

Dec 24, 2025Relaxing Beautiful All-inclusive Resort, Paradise at its Finest!
We always love going back to Emerald Bay. The hospitality was first rate, from the front desk staff, waiters, hostesses, housekeepers, concierges, and the grounds keepers. They were all friendly and polite. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we had the best view from the balcony, overlooking the main pool and ocean view. We ate at the Emerald Sushi quite a bit, and the food was first rate. The Bistro Restaurant had wonderful food and the Eggs Benedict for breakfast was always perfect. We got our fix on the Carrot Cake and Banana Cream Pie, Yum!!!! Julio Vargas, is the best waiter at the pool, so we search him out while we are there. He is very attentive, friendly, happy and remembers us from year to year. We ran into Paloma, this year, she was the hostess at Emerald Sushi. She always had a smile on her face and greeted everyone with excitement and joy. We can't wait to go back to this magical place, to see our friends again and enjoy the relaxing beautiful resort.

Emerald Bay Resort Mazatlán is very beautiful. The employees always greet you with a smile and are willing to help you with your needs. A shout out to Martin-Adriana and David for all their help. Whenever we needed anything, they were there to help. I was disappointed with the food we ordered from the pool. The nachos we ordered had very little cheese and the burrito needed more flavor. It would also be nice to have a few more options on the menu. We have been going there for many years and will continue to go as often as we can.

Excellent!! Highly recommend
Arturo very good advisor! He recommend us to deep sea fishing while watching and local fish catching. Told he how to arrange to bring lunch and had talks to driver for the ride to marina and return trip. The captain and crew were amazing and so friendly. We caught lots of local fish mahi mahi and saw lots of humpback whales.
