Excellent Resort
Great place for a family vacation. Only thing that needs to change is the allocation of golf cars, even if for a fee.

Throughly enjoyed it
Let me start off by saying that we got married here 14 years ago and have seen beautiful new buidlings come up. They have updated many facilities. The highlight for me were the amazing staff members who was always very accommodating and truly serves with a smile. Another highlight was a pool at the presidential suites. It has a cool little waterfall and has cabanas where people should be shielded from the sun and still be comfortable. The breakfast at Blues was quiet, intimate, and delicious. There was even a shuttle that would take us around the different restaurants. I truly loved the experience. The spa was also wonderful. They have Jacuzzi steam rooms, a pool and of course spa services.

A great family vacation
Presidential Suites was everything that I expected. Beautiful rooms. They were clean, huge, and comfortable. Maid staff was very friendly, concierge and front desk staff very helpful. If I asked for help for something I got it right away. Booking a la carte restaurants was relatively easy. You are guaranteed three reservations. For the other days you can reserve first thing in the morning to see what's available. The restaurants were good. The buffets were below average, especially breakfast. A 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach and other resorts / restaurants, you had a bus shuttle, if you're lucky enough you would grab a cart driver from the front desk. Getting to know the layout of this huge system of resorts took a day or two. Confessi beach was nice but a little seaweedy. The pools in this area are great. The VIP beds was kind of fun to visit for a day, but the Ocean is way too rocky. If you want entertainment, check out the coliseum and fun by the pools. There's something for everyone. And the entertainment staff is top notch. Try to find Spicy if you can. A great guy! I'll end this review by saying stay away from any request for tour/timeshare sale. I've had my program for over 20 years and they were non-stop push. Especially one person trying to get me to go. I felt harassed. But I will say the front desk heard my complaint and apologized right away. Go see the city for one day, Pink Street, umbrella Street and especially monkey house. It was a lot of fun.

Presidential Suites...did not live up to the name.
My family and I were a bit disappointed with our stay at the Presidential Suites. The grounds were beautiful and the people were lovely, but the room was outdated and not very clean. Stained sheets were removed just to be replaced with another set of stained sheets. Our stay was for 7 days. We had no hot water the first 4 days. There were roaches in the kitchen and bathroom of our suite. There was no room service and housekeeping did not come daily. 8 16oz water bottles are delivered every 2 days. For a group of 4 in 86 degree weather, that's not much. When I called to request more, the receptionist gave me an attitude and no additional water bottles were received...until the next evening. We were told we'd be taken on a complimentary tour of the property on day 2, which we were really excited about. It turned out to be a very intense sales pitch for us to become members of Lifestyle. I get it, they have a job to do in trying to get more people to sign up. After about 4 hours, we were over it and just wanted to be taken back to our room, which we stated several times. They didn't want to take no for an answer. It became pretty aggressive. Instead of taking us back to our room, we were left to wait for a shuttle that took quite some time to come. After several hours in the heat, you can imagine how frustrating that was for us. We received a map of the property that detailed all the restaurants and their locations with the hours of operation listed. The times shown for dining at the restaurants weren't accurate and it didn't show what was open/closed on specific days of the week. We did enjoy every restaurant. The food was delicious and service was great. On several occasions, the staff offered us rides to our destination in their golf cart/buggy...which they didn't have to do. We appreciated those gestures. The best part of the trip was our spa treatment. The 4 of us received the best massages we've ever had. I wouldn't recommend staying at the Presidential Suites with the rooms being unkept. If you like killing roaches on vacation...have at it! I can't speak on the other resorts, as there are several on the property. I feel it'd be best to stay at one of the villas. Those were immaculate! I didn't intend on writing an essay lol...but there's my truth!
