Very poor.
This is a very poor experience with construction noise, bad food , rocky weedy beach and not top shelf drinks. Only half full for a reason despite them posting otherwise . No where near a 4/5 star resort and definitely spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere. I don’t lie and this is the truth.

Not what I call a 5 star
We arrived 3 1/2 days late, thank you WestJet and Nexus Tour. I have to say check in and bellmen were awesome. Front deck teased that they thought we were no shows, and made sure the room was fresh. Bellman took us directly to our room and showed us how to get to the steak house before it closed as it was already 9pm. This great service was a great start. And front of house staff was great for the whole stay. Meal was good but not over the top. After supper we walked around to get our bearings before morning and there was nobody on the grounds. The next morning the search for coffee was a bit of a hunt, front lobby bar had coffee but was cold. Room was nice but not any better than any 4 star we have stayed at. Room smelt musty and the marble floor would get very slippery when patio doors were open. Breakfast buffet was good but staffing of the manned stations seemed short. That was the same for the rest of the week. As an adults only resort I was surprised to hear a waiter making cat and animal sounds, I would suggest transferring him to the family side. Food was ok but not what I thought we would see at a 5 star. We tried most of the A la Carte options and to be honest the best part of each meal was the soup. All meals were a bit disappointing, I was expecting more. The pools were quiet almost dead, but there was always someone who was a bit too loud and killing the vibe for everyone else. The few topless sun bathers were a complete surprise, and really against the rules. Pool side service was almost never available, if you wanted a refill you had to go get it. And the house liquors were hard to swallow. Make sure to ask for an upgraded shot. Hotel seemed to be at 50% so I guess it was staffed that way. We did find the buffet at the Sunst family side to be better, and the gounds to be nicer and the shuttle service between the resorts was top notch. Rock band at the bar and nightly shows were pretty good. Mini bar was pretty short stocked with only two beer, no diet drinks and only three small bottles of cheap hard liquor and not enough water. The wildlife on the grounds was nice, and the construction at both resorts really didn’t bother us. The swim out seemed to be empty, but the water was really cold. Beach was nice but windy and rocky in the water. We would try the resort again, but don’t think to was worth the 5 star value we were charged and even more so paying full 7 days for 3 1/2, but that wasn’t the hotels fault.
