  Horrible experience

  $600+ in cash for excursions, a wallet, a custom titanium pen, and an expensive flashlight I use for work all went missing soon after checking into our room. Security was sure to leave a note saying that valuables were found in the room, but no mention as to where my valuables went. On top of this, the staff refused to bring water to a friend's infant child so they could make his formula, instead suggesting they could have as much free beer as they wanted. This is detestable behavior unfit of any hospitality venue.

  Disney meets Carnival Cruise line cheap feel not price

  One of the most disappointing trips that I ever experienced affiliated with Marriott let alone an Autograph collection. First of all we were treated rudely by security as reservations failed to update the number of people in our party despite informing them a week in advance. Second of all, check-in was long and confusing. Service throughout our visit was inconsistent, some people were very attentive and nice while many others were rude and discourteous. It was a struggle getting water refilled at meals and we were nearly hit multiple times by the on-site golf carts. Each day, the room was never refilled with snacks, toiletries, slippers, or drinks despite us upgrading to star status. The star status was a ridiculous waste of money. The staff did not enforce rules in public areas as many of the other guests brought personal speakers and radios and blasted inappropriate music as well as engaged in smoking marijuana literally in the face of my children. It is behavior that I was shocked to see from adults and reminiscent of spring break during college years. The overall experience was not conducive to the standards and polished elegance of autograph collection. We decided to leave early to maintain our own peace of mind. One of the best part of the trip was the kayaking excursion. Several of the restaurants require reservations and we were not able to procure them for whatever reason so we could not take advantage of all of the facilities. I will say that the coffee shop was amazing and Anna was lovely and one of the highlights of the trip. For the cost and the brand I was shocked and will never return to a planet Hollywood ever again in my life. I suggest if you want any semblance of elegance or class avoid this place like the plague

  Great Resort!

  Our family stayed at this resort during early June and we had a great time. We opted for the star class that included an assistant to make reservations as well as to help with any issues. The resort offered multiple restaurants as well as several activities and day trips to choose from. Resort basically sits on a hillside overlooking the bay and is surrounded by nature on all sides. The employees really make the resort a great place as they offer to help in any way they can. It is typical that all inclusive try to save on food costs as that is such a big line item. However, we felt the sit down restaurants offered great ambiance, but really let us down on food quality.

  Title: Blue Star Tex-Mex Cantina – A Must-Visit Gem with Amazing Food & Service! 🌟

  I had an incredible dining experience at Blue Star Tex-Mex Cantina that deserves all five stars and more! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and full of good vibes. I started with the nachos—loaded, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The pork chops were juicy and seasoned beautifully. Every bite was satisfying and clearly made with care. And then came the chef's special pizza from Alonso—wow. It was unique, flavorful, and truly a highlight of the night. Big thanks to Alonso for that delicious twist on Tex-Mex! To top it all off, the cheesecake for dessert was phenomenal—rich, smooth, and just the right amount of sweetness. My drink of choice was a tequila and cranberry, and let me tell you—it was made to perfection. Refreshing, balanced, and just what I needed. The service was just as stellar as the food. Dylan greeted us with genuine warmth. Joseph made sure our glasses were never empty and offered great suggestions. Randal checked in throughout the evening, making us feel right at home. Their teamwork and professionalism made our experience even more special. If you're looking for bold flavors, amazing drinks, and top-tier service, Blue Star Tex-Mex Cantina is the place. Huge thanks to Dylan, Joseph, Randal, and Alonso for making our visit unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back!

  Great family trip with grown kids

  Had a great week with family at Planet Hollywood. The rooms were spacious and clean. Employees were helpful and kind. Room service did not always work (App issues). Also didn’t realize to participate in activities (pool) you have to sign up through the PH experience desk. The resort is built into a mountainside, so walking could be difficult, especially being so hot out. Shuttles were not consistent either. I was able to get reservations at all the different restaurants. Unfortunately, you can’t really do in advance (more than 2 days). The buffet had a lot of options and Karen made the best omelets. The sports bar was fun and the bartender Oscar made the most perfectly amazing drinks. The shows were good. Lots of talent. Excursions were easy to arrange through the tour desk(Nexus) Sanchez was super knowledgeable and helpful. Like everywhere there are pros and cons. It’s really what you make of it. Have patience and be open minded for new experiences. Overall, we really enjoyed PH and visiting Costa Rica.
