    Activities, location and pool are the best!

    Beautiful location - and view of the bay is wonderful! It is a drive to Playa del Coco or Diamante Eco Park - but we found plenty to do at the resort! Workouts at the gym were excellent - Gaella (yoga) Erick (boot camp) and Jorge (abs/cardio) - THANK YOU for keeping my vacation weight gain to a minimum!! 😂 Do a cabana - totally worth the extra charge. We loved the steak house and Gusto for dinner - others were good, but not gourmet. For a change - do the TexMex for breakfast - ala carte and served hot. To note - lots of activities for kids and adults - and night life is abundant if you want it (music, entertainment, etc.) it is not a quiet place however- if you’re looking for peace/quiet, this may not be the place. We had a teenager with us and she loved it. But- best of all Jose- you are a Star!! He made all our dinner reservations for us the first day, and arranged transportation to/from El Coco. Always there for a question and assistance. Quick responses and very helpful!!

    Terrible!!!!! Terrible terrible!!!!!!!

    The worse all-inclusive I have ever experienced. This resort is expensive! Too expensive to have terrible food, a bug infested room, bloody sheets, and watered down drinks. Trying to eat at one of the restaurants is impossible! I booked reservations through the app and somehow all of my reservations were deleted. I went to the restaurant and was turned away even though there were many empty tables. I finally decided to just sit down at the steakhouse on my own. They food was disgusting. Room service food is GROSS!!! I mean ineditable gross. The buffet is mid. Some items were ok and some gross. The first room smelled like smoke and the bathroom roof leaked. We had to wait until 4pm the next day to get another room. The second room was infested with bugs and there was blood on the sheets. The bathroom shower was lined with duck tape. They offered us a free cabana. The workers act clueless and ignore complaints. I paid $3500 for a family of four to stay here. This was like staying at a motel.’ The only good thing about this resort was the pool and the pool entertainment.

    Lovely and fun trip!

    Planet Hollywood Staff were all professional, welcoming and attentive. Beautiful resort with multiple buildings on the hill. Quite welcoming. Pools, bars and beach were fun. Black sand beach and calm waters. ‘Yeilyn Morales’ our personal concierge was wonderful and detailed. Stayed in communication with us throughout our stay. Gave us info and tips on all Schedules and activities. ‘Ignacio’ is a fun and professional guy at the pool/spa area; he will get you good deals on spas and cabana services. Shoutout to the Entertainment team and Servers; they always kept the party going at the main pool area, with lots of games and activities. Restaurants on the property are very nice. The buffet always had a vast selection of food. We also reserved dinner spots at the Italian and steakhouse restaurants; and the food was great. Our ocean view room was spacious and kept clean daily. Drinks were also replenished daily. Room service for breakfast was always fast and efficient.

    Planet Hollywood Stay

    Beautiful black beach with amazing views. Monkeys were in the trees near the beach daily which was very entertaining. Food was also incredible, with great service at restaurants like Blue Star Tex Mex with Randall. Definitely a wonderful place to stay and see this beautiful side of Costa Rica. :)

    The property is beautiful. The food is just okay. The buffet was good every time. The personal agent/butler “Henry Hernandez” is awesome!
