Check-in Policy - Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds.

I loved our stay here. We had Henry as our personal assistant during our stay and he exceeded our expectations. I felt like a princess the minute I walked in the doors of Planet Beach. Henry has tickets ready for the events for us, reservations, and asked if there was anything that he can do to make our stay better, every day. He made himself available by cell (WhatsApp) I often would walk into my room with a surprise treat or decoration from the staff. Every day he checked in. The drinks at the poolside bars were amazing. Along with the entertainment and workouts. We did have an issue with our bookings of excursions with the group that is offered in the hotel. (It was not what we payed for in the package.) so we did venture out to one of the guys on the beach (Jose) and had a fun rafting. And the beach vendors massage is one of the best massages I have ever had. Overall this was a wonderful vacation!
We just visited Costa Rica and we loved our entire stay we were celebrating my birthday and we decided to stay in this outstanding all inclusive resort We loved the restaurants the service the empaty of the employees specially Rene our favorite server. We did not have any complain at all the view from the room the grounds and the Nature specially the monkies on the Beach. 100% we recomend this resort. We hope to come back soon.
Carlos and the gang took great care of us. I highly recommend doing the star class upgrade and at least 5-7 days especially if you go explore! The food was some of the best we have had for all inclusive resorts!
Staff at this resort is rude and does not care. Guest services will never own up and respond back to each review even when negative while putting a positive spin. They would routinely go in our room when we put do not disturb sign. They have a dumb policy of removing luggage from room at 10 AM on check out date even if you have not checked out. They will tell you they do it at noon but I was at airport at noon and my luggage was gone from my room before breakfast was closed. All this after I had do not disturb sign. The star class is a joke. Its just a scam. If you make a mistake and book at this resort, make sure do not pay for star class upgrade. Food sucks and not hygenic at all. We found hair in the food and stuck to hot food after. In days of COVID, I am suprised they are not shut down with their service. I have been to all inclusives in Mexico, Carrribean etc and have never seen such third class level of service and let me not get started on bed bugs. I will never go here and recommend anyone thinking about this place to cance. Watch guest response not take ownership to this review either. There is a review few reviews back where a passport was stolen and I was there when I saw that customer frustrated and I saw staff laughing about it. They found his passport in trash can behind desk and they were non chalant about it. We saw atleast 2 other customers complain to guest services while we were checked in. We read reviews and fell for sweet response from management. BEWARE ITS A TRAP. THEY DO NOT TAKE OWNERSHIP AND HAVE A STANDARD ANSWER FOR EVERYTHING THAT THEY ARE SUPER BUSY.
Planet Hollywood Experience
Planet Hollywood Pura Vida Returned February 9th from a 4 night visit to the PH Costa Rica. We reserved a room with a king bed abd sofa. The sleep sofa wasn’t great but housekeeping gave me an extra comforter to put on the mattress which solved the problem. In fact, housekeeping was awesome. If there was anything you needed, all you had to do was ask. Rene on the pool and every employee we encountered went above and beyond to be helpful. They were all a friendly and fun group. Each employee had their “passion” written on their name badge. It was fun to see what everyones passion was. We ate at the buffet breakfast every morning. There was a wide choice on the menu which included made to order omelettes, fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, french toast ... We ordered lunch/drinks on the beach several days. The beach staff were prompt and the food good. Getting a chair was never a problem. Ask for Rene on the pool. My favorite restaurant was the Steak House thanks to Diego the Chef for his service. I can not wait to come back again. Pura Vida
