  Great service, Roger in the lobby bar went out of his way to help out with anything that we needed! He’s the best and made our experience fantastic! Iley at guest services was also the best!!

  Great Vacation 🌄☀️🏝️🏖️

  We travelled as 3 ladies and loved this resort! I would give it a 8/10... Only because we compare to our favorite resort. The room - Basic. Felt kinda small for 3 of us. We did use the pull out and was quite comfy The staff - Amazing! Anything you need they were on it! Call down for towels? Water? Right up! Bars and restaurants staff quite friendly. Concierge awesome help The food - Heck yes! Loved all the dinners and lunches, breakfast not as big of a fan Indian was the best Loved steak and Italian Coffee place.... Meh...not the best coffee and long waits with not enuf staff The pool - Adult section. Very nice, but reserving chairs was tough. Must go quite early. Had people move our stuff and take our chairs. The beach - Loved! It's beautiful lots of chairs! The ocean was very wavy, which I think was a fluke week but I believe this beach would be even more beautiful! Overall loved this place. Highly recommend

  Book star class at planet Hollywood Cancún

  Incredible service, there’s no question that they are trying hard to ensure that you come back. The service staff are brilliant. I’m yet to find one that can’t be bothered. There are a few things I wish I knew before coming here; use US dollars, you get a lot more for your money. Use Uber to travel. Had an experience today, it was £14 to travel 50mins to the harbour and La Isla mall. (Which is amazing) in an uber. However, it was £49 to get back as we couldn’t access uber due to mobile service being down. Was a whole thing trying to get WiFi where we needed it, so got a cab which quotes $1500 mex (roughly £60) until we came to £49 to get us back, but we didn’t really have much of a choice. Prebook your dinners, but don’t panic, you can pretty much get in anywhere at short notice. Make sure you have cash for tips. They don’t have an atm for US dollars, as of today actually 🤣 went to withdraw some, and they had gone. This said, they don’t fuss about not getting tipped, but you should really. A few dollars is enough. Hands up on the next one, it was my own fault for not being organised. We wanted to cancel the cocobongos excursion, which they did, but I was charged 100% of the cost. 🤷🏼‍♂️ live and learn. A £400 whoopsie that my wife will eventually get over 🤣 You will get bombarded by the guest services and butler services. There’s always someone coming to your room for something or other, and by the pools, they come up to you asking if you are enjoying yourself and if there’s anything they can do for you…which sounds great, but is often a pain in the arse. Same with photographers, excursion people, guest services, and whoever trying to sell you something. You can tell them to do one and they do, but it makes you have to do that in order to be left alone. My wife and I will definitely consider coming back here. We’ve had a wonderful time, and enjoyed the use of Star Class which I recommend. We’ve been treated like superstars and it’s defo what they are trying to do. If you’re thinking of Cancún, Book Planet Hollywood.

  Second wonderful experience

  Wife and I traveled Oct 19 to 29th room 16307. I won't go into a lot of details, but cover what most people are concerned about. Sickness: Neither my wife nor I got sick during or after our trip. I know it can happen, but I don't think it is always the resorts fault. I brushed my teeth everyday with tap water. We both ate salads and she ate fruit everyday along with so much ceviche that it was laughable! However, we take probiotics before and during our trips. No Mojitos, but had plenty of limes. Oh, and my immune system is messed up. Dampness: We found that if you set the thermostat to 21 or 22 degrees, you will be fine. First night it was set to 19 degrees and we woke up to condensation on the sliding glass door. If you have to set it that low......you will have dampness, but then......why are you in Mexico? Sales pitch/Timeshare: We joined PRIME when we were first here in March and prior to that we were TRAVELSMART members. It is NOT for everyone! IF thats IF you travel frequently, you might want to consider it. Food: Well, that is subjective to everyone. While we never had a bad meal, some were better than others. Our favorite - CATCH seafood restaurant. The steak was better than the Steakhouse steaks and the seafood salad bar was awesome. Braza was great too. Didn't get to Mexican, hibachi or Indian. Maybe next time. We never left a restaurant hungry. We went to the buffet a couple of times and thought it was very good. We skipped breakfast for the most because we would get too full. We had room service deliver us coffee and croissants every morning and it was always early or close to the scheduled time. 6th Sense Culinary Dinner: This is an extra charge, but we absolutely love this. See my pictures of the food. It is not for everyone, but we always enjoy them. If you are a picky eater and don't want to try new things..... pass on it. Butlers: Because of their days off, we had Ramon, Robert, Alex and Ignacio. If you have any one of these great guys, you will be very happy. They checked up on us everyday to insure our time there was absolutely perfect. Also, the staff at the STAR CLASS pool are top notch. We (extra charge) had a cabana 3 times and the service is awesome. Big thanks to Moses and Paulino (see photos) . Final advice: Recommend going STAR CLASS if you go. The lounge has all top shelf liquor in a quiet and cool area, a great stop after or before dinner. We found that a smile and some patience goes a long way. The staff are not your servants. Be respectful ! Try and speak Spanish. Don't sweat the small stuff and you will have a great time. Since we travel a few times a year, we have always found that following this advice, staff will remember us. Also... remember: Don't ask -- Don't get ! The answer is always NO if you don't ask (politely) . We will be back !

  PH Star Class - a holiday to remember!

  We have just returned from a week stay at PH with some friends for a celebration holiday and it has been one of the most amazing holidays we have ever had. We were a little sceptical following some of the reviews and a change of rating on TUI, but we had no reason to be - everything was absolutely wonderful. Star class - we went adult scene, star class (initially offered a swim up as a free upgrade, but we actually preferred a higher floor closer to the front with a lovely view, and closer to our friends, and once we realised this, we spoke with the star class team who got us back with our friends in B11, fourth floor - amazing for beach and pool views). The best part about switching to B11 was the amazing service we had from our butlers, Jerry and Yomelly. We have never been anywhere before where the staff were so attentive, and particularly these 2, who went above and beyond to make our stay special, booking our dinner reservations with no issues, checking in on us regularly, and even preparing an amazing surprise by decorating our rooms when we were on a boat trip. We all thought they were amazing and would definitely request to have these guys if we go back! Food - again, was a little worried about this but had no reason to be. We mainly ate at the a la carte restaurants, all of which were fantastic, and felt just like eating out at really nice restaurants that you’d pay for. We particularly enjoyed the steak house and hibatchi. Braza also did amazing table service breakfasts on adult side, and we ate at the star class snack bar most lunch times. Grounds- they were immaculate, considering the resort size, everything was well kept and added to the luxury feel. The star class pool always had plenty of beds and the beach was the nicest we have ever been to in Mexico. No seaweed and beautiful clear water. If it wasn’t already obvious, we had the most amazing holiday, and would recommend it to anyone!
