The Pink Shell is amazing. You have to go here if you are going to Fort Myers, Estero Island. Nice rooms, pools, food and service. All room have beach views with nice lanais! Everything’s top notch. Close to Time Square! Beach chairs, umbrellas are very nice. Spacious rooms. Best vacay spot ever. Shout out to Victor, Chester, Max, Keke, Aiden , Denise, Alisha, Wayne, Ranger Rob, DJ Ron, Holly, Eric, Paxton, and Pam!

The Pink Shell is AMAZING! You’ve gotta go! here!
I don’t know how to say enough about this amazing place. The people that work there are the best around. If you are going to Fort Myers and want to have the best time ever, you need to visit the Pink Shell. Best rooms, pools, food and service anywhere. You won’t be sorry. The best hotel on Estero. Much better than Margaritaville!! Here is a big shot out to…. Pam with activities, Eric, Aiden, in valet, Ranger Rob, Max in security, Victor server at Bongos, Chester with security, KeKe in the gift shop, Wayne in security, Denise in the front office , Paxton and Reed in valet, DJ Ron, Alisha server at Bongos! Y’all rock!!!

Sep 02, 2025Relaxing weekend
We had such a great time this past weekend. We brought our 6 year old son who also had a great time. We loved our room in the Captiva building with two extremely spacious balconies both of which had water views. The setup was great. We got a one bedroom and the main area had a pullout sofa which my son slept in . It was especially nice to have the other balcony by the bathroom to hang out on after my son went to bed. Highly recommend this room for families. The room was clean and comfortable and well attended to. The breakfast buffet was great and it was so nice they it was included. We really enjoyed the little nature hut set up on the beach as well as the kayaking and paddle boarding. Only downside for use was that the pool area was very loud when we first arrived. But it was a holiday weekend. We will definitely be back!

Greta family hotel
We really enjoyed our time at Pink Shell. We wanted to relax as a family and the hotel was a great option for this. We started in the sanibel building and found that as a family of 4 it was a little cramped so after 2 nights we moved to the Captiva building which we loved. There is a huge difference between these rooms so if you can stretch to it get the Captiva! We found all the staff to be warm and friendly. We especially loved our time with Ranger Rob. Having a nature ranger was the reason we booked pink shell over other Hotels in the area. We loved the sunrise walks and the kayak tour we did was a real holiday highlight. We saw manatees and dolphins.

Amazing dream vacation with Remote beaches and rare seashells!!!
Our family visited Aug 13-17, 2025. The resort was incredible. We enjoyed our captiva sunrise sunset room. It was very spacious and we could see both the gulf as well as the marina. Breakfast was very convenient and offered plenty with an omelette station. We easily found beach chairs and 2 umbrellas right away and small beach tables as well. Found a server who drove a cart around checking on guests as well as taking food and drink orders. This was very convenient and helpful. We rented some jetskis’ right at the beach. There was a great staff member who helped us by the name of Solomon. He was so professional and knowledgeable but most of all energetic, his enthusiasm is infectious! We took a dolphin tour on jetskis. Solomon led it and our group was lucky enough to see a big group of manatees up close us well as dolphins! The biggest joy we had were the private boat tours we took at the pink shell marina. I arranged 3 private boat tours with Mark. Captain Joe took everyday to a new remote island for us to shell. Along the way we saw up close dolphins, stingrays, manatees, small sharks, bird, and more! We found rare seashells like the scotch bonet/helmet, turkey wings, angel wings, alphabet cones, whelks, nutmegs, and many more!! Both Mark and Joe were a true delight to our family and made sure we received special care for our private tours. We strongly recommend doing a private boat tour especially if you want to shell at remote islands at low tide! We loved that their boat had an extra large canopy for great shade! It really helped us stay cool and comfortable. We got tons of GoPro footage. When we come back we definitely will go again with Mark and Joe!
