We brought our one year old here in July of 2025. We cannot say enough good things. Hands down you need to stay here if you have kids. A big shout out to Ronald and Malachi greeting us every morning and taking care of us at breakfast that is included! They were amazing and made it feel like we were dining with family. The beach is great and the pool is perfect. The hotel plans daily activities for the kids. We stayed in the Captiva Villa. The space was exactly what we needed and every balcony is private! We will be coming back!

Amazing resort for family fun
Pink Shell Resort is a wonderful family-friendly resort on Fort Myers Beach. The rooms are spacious, clean, and ocean-front. There's many amenities included in your resort fee including a free buffet breakfast in an ocean front dining area, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach/pool towels available at all times, and special activities throughout the day for kids and families. There are three pools i, cluding the large "Octopool" next to the bar and restaurant. There was live music several nights, but it was also quiet after 1111 pm, perfect for families with young children. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Captiva building in a suite, which I highly recommend as it included a screened in room sized balcony. I highly recommend Pink Shell Resort for its location, ammenities, and superior guest experience.

The resort was really nice and clean. The employees are nice, attentive and professional. The complimentary breakfast at Jack’s was great, a lot of variety. The staff was awesome especially Mercy and Ronald. We had a fantastic dinner at Rae’s. The resort is great for families, there’s a lot of things to do for kids.

Came by boat for lunch. Been there before and no complaints. When we received the bill there was an 18% “service charge” added in addition to the tip. Thirty eight percent on top of the cost of the meal! Pay your employees more because I shouldn’t be expected to pay for your businesses expenses. This doesn’t help your employees, it only hurts them . Won’t see me again and I will share my experience with others.

July Kayak tour with Ranger Rob
Did a kayak tour with Ranger Rob! It was the best! Calm waters allowed us to paddle to many spots to see the wildlife and the coastal environment. We saw dolphins and manatees - the manatees were quite playful around our kayaks allowing for close up experience. We took a quick peak inside the mangrove tunnel - which was amazing! I always learn something new about SWFL history and animals when I take a tour with Ranger Rob. Very enjoyable! Low key! Great experience.
