  Excellent Stay

  My wife and I visited for 3 nights during a longer trip to St Kitts and Nevis. We spent four nights at the Four Seasons on Nevis (there is a separate review for that trip). I will try and draw some comparisons now that I have stayed on both properties. Overall, 5 out 5, a wonderful resort. Very little to complain about. This property really feels like an Island resort and has everything you would want and expect. We stayed in an ocean view king on the far end of the property and found it to be great. It was a little more expensive than the same room at the FS but was a nicer room. Notes: 1. The main pool is big, deep, and wonderful. You have great views of the ocean and Nevis. It includes a zero entry, an Infiniti waterfall, and has plenty of room for lots of people. Overall, far nicer than the main pool at the FS. This is the type of pool I would expect for a resort like this. 2. The adult pool sits above the general pool and is fairly tucked away. It is also deep and has lots of great places to sit. I would rate the adult pool at FS a little higher but no real complaints about the Hyatt. 3. The food is excellent and has variety. We ate at all of the restaurants and found the food much better than the FS. There were just more options. The Great House is really good. The menu doesn’t appear to change, which is disappointing. Pro tip: eat a meal at the far end of the Fisherman’s restaurant bar instead of inside. You will get a much better view, winds, and it will be quieter. This was the best meal experience during our whole trip. The pool food options are also better here than the FS. 4. The beach is just okay. The beach at the FS is far superior. Lots of seaweed to contend with and we had heavy winds which makes water sports not possible. More on the winds later. 5. Lots to do around the property with never ending list of activities for kids. We didn’t do any of it, but saw a rum tasting event. There is also a top golf simulator. 6. We found our room to be very nice. The property is on a hill, so be prepared to walk. Only complaint about the room is the lack of hot water. It was more like warm. Our porch was really excellent. 7. This property gets really nice winds, which gives it that island feel. You do not really get these at the FS. At night, it is really windy - which we loved. 8. One comment on cost. This place is expensive. There is 31% on basically any purchase and you can expect item pricing to be equivalent to the FS. $22 drinks, $28 breakfast entrees, etc. Overall, we found the daily total cost of food, drinks, etc. to be a little less than FS, mainly due the more diverse food menu with a few cheaper items. That said, still really expensive. 9. The service here is good, not great. This is one place the FS dominates. We had long waits for drinks and food at the pool. Room service is slow. Nothing crazy bad, but comparatively, it isn’t close. 10. We didn’t bring kids, but this resort is made for them while protecting space and activities for adults. Lots for kids to do. 11. Found the alcoholic drinks to generally suck. This was true at the FS too. The best drink is the rum punch but even that gets old. For $22 + 30%, you just expect more. Everything is pre-made/packaged. Stuck to the local beer. If I had to choose between this property and the FS, I would choose the Park Hyatt. It is just a better overall experience. That said, splitting our trip between them was a good idea. You can take a water taxi door to door.

  Check your card statements !

  Horrendous accounting ! Frustrating experience . On June 4 th my wife and I booked an appointment at the sugar mill sanctuary for a 50 minute couples massage . The massage was decent and I have no complaints , HOWEVER upon checking out I enquired if we can use the pool and have lunch , to which we were told we have to buy a seperate day pass since we are locals . EVEN THOUGH WE DID A COUPLES MASSAGE AND WERE GOING TO HAVE LUNCH BY THE POOL WHICH WOULD BE MORE DOLLARS . I would call that a rip off!!!! Further while checking out we were handed a bill for 1157 usd for a couples massage for 50 minutes . I did sense a red flag as I frequently go to four seasons and I have never experienced such a high price . Jacqueline was the attendant for our massages . Completely clueless about what’s going on, it was only when I mentioned I will make a stink about this did she enquirer and she discovered that we were charged twice and the amount is actually half the invoice . Moving on … after discovering her error , she offered to give a full refund first and then charge the smaller amount after . It took her 30 minutes of o give a refund since she needed a refund code. I WONDER HOW MANY PEOPLE GET SCAMMED THIS WAY WHEN THEY ARE NOT LOOKING !! Very disgusted and disappointed .

  Park Hyatt St. Kitts - A beautiful place for both adults and family!

  From the staff to the resort, everything was absolutely perfect! HUGE shout out to all of our new friends at the front desk! They truly go above and beyond to make every moment the most memorable. The breakfast at Great House is mind-blowing and the entire staff there always gives you a warm welcome. Thank you all!

  An anniversary in paradise!

  The Park Hyatt St. Kitts is a gem! The property is stunning and beautiful. Not just the scenery but how well kept the grounds are. I felt the tension melt away after the first day. Where this place really shines is the staff. My wife and I have never been anywhere where the staff takes so much pride in being kind and ready to meet any need of their guests. Special shout-out to Glenisa and Zica by the pools, they always were kind and fun! Carlton also always made sure we had everything we needed. David at reception was also great! Every server at the great house and fisherman’s village were also so kind. The concierge desk was also awesome. There were many staff members that’s I’m sure we’re also great but we didn’t get a chance to interact with. This place is a relaxing paradise! The food is also really good at the great house and fisherman’s village.

  Great family stay!

  Amazing stay. Resort property is beautiful. Rooms are very modern and felt very luxurious. Service was great as well at breakfast, pool service, and dinner. Kids had an amazing time in the pool. The crab benedict is soooo good and the wagyu burger is delicious as well (ordered for myself, but my kids ate it all!).
