Great Time!
First time here and it was great! Highly recommend the reserve side if you’re traveling without children, it was quiet and we preferred the adults only pool area. Pro tip reserve the ocean view bali beds, it is around $160 but you get a great seafood platter for your party, a free bottle, and a stellar view that is private from the public beach area. Shout out to our concierge Rossana, she was extremely helpful and took most of the stress out of our trip. 10/10 looking forward to coming back after the renovations!

Paradisus is Beautiful
I loved mostly everything about Paradisus, the beach is beautifuln with the turquoise blus water and white sand, to the beautiful decorations throughout the resort, including the Bali beds in the bar area. The restaurants were very good too.Sone updates are needed in the rooms, but they were comfortable especially the beds, and having balconies in every room was a nice addition.

Friendly, great service, overall a decent all inclusive
This was the first time I stayed at Paradisus Cancun. Our group consisted of 13 people. Like everything else, there are always pros and cons. For the most part we all had a great time with extremely great service. Food: buffet food will always be buffet food so 3/5. Lemon Fish was by far the best restaurant that I tried. Capella was a 4/5. The burrata reminded me of the one I had in Italy. AquaMarina was a 3/5. The pool pizza/ice cream/tacos were a big hit with the 6 kids we had 5/5. You are also able to order food from the servers while at the pool. Everyone loved the wings, nachos, and burgers. Room service 5/5 quick and good food. Drinks: The best way I can describe it is that the drinks were like any other all inclusive I have been too. Nothing too special. They do charge of you want top shelf alcohol. My brother was not too happy that they didn’t have a good selection of beer. They only had tecate, dos xx, heineken, sol, and I believe Inca or something like that. Rooms: we had a total of 4 rooms. 2 on the 2nd floor and 2 on the 5th floor. The 2 on the 2nd floor were fine and always had the snacks and mini bar restocked. The rooms on the 5th floor were dirty, rarely had the room cleaned or mini bar stocked. We had to call front desk to restock toilet paper. Coffee: I loved the Nespresso Bar. My catch 22, I didn’t like that the rooms didn’t have a coffee machine, but having the nespresso bar forced me to get up early and catch the sunrise, which was beautiful btw. Activities: They have multiple activities throughout the day for everyone to enjoy. Some were yoga, beach soccer, water zumba, and water volleyball. I did hear that the resort was shutting down for a year to remodel beginning in July. Which is good for the resort but bad for all the workers who will be loosing their jobs. During our stay we had a lot of nice workers with great hospitality. One of the workers specifically I have to shout out. Armando Balem at Malva a.m crew is an amazing worker and definitely a keeper! Gracias por todo!

"Overpriced, pushy sales tactics, poor service — not the honeymoon experience we dreamed of at Paradisus Cancun."
My wife and I recently stayed at Paradisus Cancun for our honeymoon, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. Upon arriving in Cancun, we called the resort to ask about shuttle transportation. They told us it had to be arranged in advance and that we would need to take a taxi. However, there was a Paradisus companion shuttle parked right in front of us, which immediately made us feel misled. When we finally arrived at the resort by taxi, guest services immediately tried to upsell us to a more expensive room with a better view. After we declined, the front desk agent’s attitude completely changed. She informed us that our original room wasn't ready due to a “service issue” and we would need to wait another hour. We asked if they could at least upgrade us for the inconvenience, but they refused. To make matters worse, we were required to pay the full balance of our stay upfront at check-in. On the way to our room, we were stopped by another staff member trying to sell us a timeshare. He offered us a free massage in exchange for sitting through a "40-minute" sales pitch, which we declined. Unfortunately, he continued to harass us every time we crossed paths with him during our stay. The dining experience was mediocre at best. Out of the five days we stayed, we only had one truly good dining experience. Everything else was subpar. When we asked about better food options, we were told that we would need to pay extra for "premium" meals, even though we had purchased the all-inclusive package. The drinks were made with unfamiliar and lower-end alcohol brands. Again, we were told that to get name-brand alcohol, we would need to pay for a premium package. Our room was poorly maintained. The light switches were wired awkwardly — to turn on the bathroom light, the bedroom light also had to be on, and the ceiling fan only worked if the shower light was on. The lamp on the desk didn’t work either, making it very uncomfortable for me to do any work. At the beach, we were immediately pressured to rent cabanas for $250 if we wanted a comfortable place to relax — again, something you’d expect to be included in an all-inclusive package. The prices at the gift shop were outrageous. A toothbrush and a small bar of soap cost us $30. Whenever we had service issues or concerns, the default response we received was, "We don't speak English," which felt dismissive and unhelpful. Another major disappointment was the lack of communication about the resort activities. It wasn’t until the third day that we realized we had to scan a QR code hidden at the bottom of a pamphlet to find the schedule. Even then, the adult activities were minimal — usually just one event per night from 8–9 PM. Meanwhile, there were plenty of daytime activities for kids. This was my second stay at Paradisus Cancun, and sadly, it will be my last. A honeymoon is supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime memory, but this experience left us feeling frustrated and extremely disappointed. For a resort that markets itself as "luxury" and "all-inclusive," we felt nickel-and-dimed at every turn and treated as less important when we declined to spend additional money. We expected so much more — especially for such an important occasion.

Great Family Vacation!!!
We stayed in our Club Melia apartment. Our concierge Rodolfo Medina was happy to help us with restaurant reservations and anything we asked of him. The cleaning and restaurant staff were good too. There were many restaurant choices and we were happy with most meals.
