Sep 14, 2025Great resort in Kailua
there are fancier resorts for Kailua but, if you are bringing family, this one is well located and provides basically everything you need at a reasonable price. Quite large there are a number of buildings housing the rooms so you can get a little bit lost at first. While there’s not an actual beach at this hotel, you just need to walk outside the entrance to find a place to rent kayaks, canoes or paddle boards, or to go out on chartered boats for deep-sea fishing or whale watching. But when you are here, you are here you can’t walk a short way into the main town of Kailua. The assortment of restaurants gives many choices and there are small convenience stores and gift stores on site… they can arrange most anything for you from the concierge desk… it is on some very historic land and they do a tour of the history daily.... But it is Hawaii so none of it is cheap.

Fabulous resort. We did the V47 Club and glad we did. The property was clean and well maintained. Staff were all wonderful and helpful. We booked an ocean view room and it was peaceful and pleasant, and at night we could watch the boats doing manta ray tours. Highly recommend.

V47 club a nice bonus
Amazing resort, surpassed our expectations! V47 club was well worth the trip! The morning buffet had a wide range of choices- Pua, Fred, Sharlaine, Tessa all so friendly and kept the buffet stocked and clean! The evening spread was just as varied, choices different every evening, hot and cold. Maria, Celeste, Zach and Kainoa did a great job with the buffet and keeping it clean and maintained. The staff was so friendly and shared hurricane updates and island culture. All of these associates are such an asset to the resort! Thank you one and all!

V47 was a great experience!
The Voyager 47 lounge was great. We had a nice, peaceful breakfast with 100% Kona coffee in the mornings and drinks and a light dinner in the evenings! All the staff were wonderful. Thank you especially to Tessa and Sharlaine!!
