    Amazing Value

Great location close to airport. Great pools and beach. Charlie at the pool was an incredibly attentive server…couldn’t have been better. Marccino at the restaurant Hakka was amazing once again!

Oleo has a great bartender! Enrique!!

We have stayed in Cancun multiple times and figured we would try Oleo for a change. It is a very modest resort. It wasn’t packed, which was very nice, we could always find lounge chairs out by the pool. And although if it wasn’t packed, which was very nice, we could always find lounge chairs out by the pool. Our room was nothing special, but the bed was comfortable and the pillows were soft. Housekeeping in general was very good. And the AC worked so our room was always nice and cool to return after a hot day. With an Italian restaurant and an Asian restaurant and a buffet that serves breakfast lunch and dinner. There’s also an outdoor restaurant that serves lunch. There is also a coffee bar that has pastries and a lattes and coffees were excellent! We went to the Asian restaurant once and the food had no flavor so we never went back. Azul, the buffet was OK, they have a lot of of the same things every day, but if you ask for bacon, you can get it! We ate most of our meals in the Italian restaurant, the food was absolutely delicious. The lobby bar with Enrique was one of the highlights of our stay! He was a treat!!

Do not come here Sargassum is not cleaned from Beach

We just arrived yesterday and booked this resort because of the pictures showing no Sargassum, well there is Sargassum which we can deal with, but the fact that it's not cleaned off the beach daily like all the resorts we have been to is the issue. They cleaned it up on both resorts on right side and left side I called the front desk and they claimed the government only allows so much sargassum to be picked which is BS, the resorts are responsible for the Sargassum puck up. We've to resorts up and down Cancun and ask why the other resorts don't pick up the Sargassum and they all tell you the same the government helps but the resort is also responsible for doing their part too. The Ispiria section is nice but not worth it other than the rooms , they claim you get your own butler or concierge which is not true. They have lower than low quality alcohol like I said we have been to so many resorts and seen and are ok with the Alcohol because we know its not the best but when they try and sell you an upgrade bracelet for 50 dollars and tell you you only get 20% off their so called premium liquor thats comical, yes they do have some premium alcohol but when Havana Rum for one is considered premium alcohol thats a joke. the employees are super nice and good at what they do like every resort we have been too they are 5 star all the way. My advise is to go to Dream Sands or other Resorts in that area of Cancun not. If you read my other reviews they are all very positive but the Oleo is not what they say they are. Oh and becareful after they check you in , the young who checked us in said for us to follow this other young lady so she could give us a rundown of the property with the Massage trick well it's only a setup for them to get you to do a Timeshare tour , the price they show you is a lie, when you talk to the people in the Spa that's when you realize it's a lie. 50 minute massage plus 80 minutes hydro therapy for 100 dollars is the price for the Massage not the 105.00 for a 25 minute Massage which she then brings it down to 85.00 lol basically she lied. The property is nice and the workers are very nice but that's it. Hope this helps people when making their Resort choices . Have a great Vacation
