Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price
Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price We had high hopes for this holiday, especially given the cost of over £10,000, but unfortunately, it fell far short of expectations. From the start, the experience felt uncomfortable, with staff frequently following us around — clearly hoping for tips — which created a pressured and awkward atmosphere. The room itself was far from clean, with lumps of fluff and hair left under the bed, and cleaning staff even left used wipes behind. The lift was broken more often than not, making it difficult to get around — especially frustrating in a resort of this size. Shops on-site were extremely overpriced, clearly taking advantage of guests. The entertainment was very limited. While the two Mexican guys running it were friendly enough, the activities didn’t go beyond simple games like “guess how many marbles are in the pot.” The music and entertainment were the same every day, offering little variety or excitement. The all-inclusive food was average at best — definitely not what you’d expect for such an expensive holiday. We ended up walking the beach most days and couldn’t help but notice that the hotels either side looked much nicer in comparison. Overall, we won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this resort to others seeking good value, cleanliness, or quality entertainment.

Special anniversary
Wonderful hotel. Great staff, wonderful food and it is right on the beach. Compliments to our waiter Edgardo at the Almar restaurant. He went above and beyond to make our anniversary celebration special. The ocean is a bit rough here. The pool was great. a bit noisy once the DJ started at 11. Overall, if going back to Cancun, I would do this again.

Great food, amazing atmosphere, and wonderful staff!
We had an amazing time! I could not speak high enough of the wonderful staff. They all were so kind, accommodating, positive, and respectful. The room was clean, the pool was great, and the food was delicious. We especially loved Hakka - their sushi restaurant. The chef, Ofelia, does an amazing job!! Our waiter, Erispen, was incredible and truly cared about us while we were there and welcomed us. Would definitely recommend. 😊

Great beach & staff, facilities could be upgraded
Great location, beautiful beach, nice pool and good food. Rooms are OK: ~ Beds really comfortable ~ Could be updated (fresh paint, and small spots of mould in shower) ~ Unfortunately the air con is not great. We were unable to get the temperature down from 27C the last 2 days, we reported it but it was not fixed. In general the air con in the lobby & restaurants is poor. Overall really enjoyed our stay. What made it was the day time by the pool entertainment from Antonio aka chocolate 🙂
