O2 delivers for Christmas
We have just returned from a weeks stay in this wonderful hotel over the Christmas period including celebrating Christmas Day at the property. We were a family of 4 including our two 22 year old daughters and could not have been happier with our experience. From the point of arrival where we were warmly greeted by the reception team to getting our fantastic rooms on the 7th floor (724 & 726 may be the best on the property) with superb ocean views the property exceeded our expectations. Christmas day was made really special with the highlight being Santa arriving by Jet Ski ! Accommodation was spotlessly clean and housekeeping did a great job refreshing the rooms daily and were always friendly and accommodating. Food is always a big part of our holidays as we are all foodies and the hotel didn't disappoint. The al a carte nights in Elements delivered some really tasty options, The Blue Fin was great for a poolside lunch (the poke bowl is to be recommended !) and to top it all there was Oro, the on site fine dining restaurant with a superb menu and really friendly and attentive staff. Dining options outside of the property are limited so it was good to have such a range of options on property as we had wanted to try outside but being Christmas week everywhere was advanced booked and were a 30 minute taxi ride away. All in all a great vacation in a lovely property made all the better by the terrific staff who were friendly and attentive at all times. we shall be returning.

Great Food and Comfort, but Watch Out for the Birds and the Playlist!
We recently stayed at O2 Beach Club & Spa during the busy Christmas season. While the resort boasts some truly high-end features, there are a few quirks you should know before booking. The Highlights: Dining & Drinks The Food: Overall, the culinary experience is excellent. Don’t let the small buffet at Elements fool you; the quality is high, and the breakfast selection is fantastic. Oro: As many others have noted, this is the standout restaurant. Service can be a bit slow during peak times (like the holidays), but the meal is worth the wait. Hidden Gems: There is a "grab-and-go" refrigerator located near the bar between Elements and Blue Fin. It’s stocked with parfaits, water, and snacks—perfect for a quick bite or a pre-airport snack. Also, keep an eye out for fresh pizza served near the bar around 1:00 PM. Pro Tip on Drinks: The resort pours high-quality "free" wine at all restaurants, but the staff won't always offer it—you have to ask. Also, be aware that the cocktails are quite strong (much more so than your average all-inclusive), so you may want to ask for them to be watered down if you prefer a lighter drink. Comfort & Accommodations The Rooms: Very well-appointed with large bathrooms and massive showers. My only minor critique is that they could use a bit more storage space for clothes. Lounging: The loungers are incredibly comfortable, particularly in the adults-only section, where they are essentially bed-quality. The Drawbacks: Music & Birds The Music Loop: The biggest downside was the repetitive music. It is the same tracks (Shaggy, Bob Marley, UB40) in the exact same order every single day. The speakers are everywhere, so there is no escaping it unless you sit right by the ocean waves. Even the staff seem tired of the playlist! Management should really consider a streaming service or simply turning the music off occasionally. The Birds: These aren't just your average birds—they are bold. If you leave your table for even a second, they will swoop in. Always cover your plate with a napkin if you stand up, or you will lose your lunch.
