Good but definitely not 5 star and would not return
This will only be a quick review but it will be an honest one. The hotel is kept very clean and all staff are brilliant, always smiling and work really hard. We found the food in the restaurant NOT the best so we went there in the morning for breakfast, had burgers at the burger bar by the kids pool in the day, really nice and a la carte at night. There isn't really a beech as it's only a couple of meters wide and at our time of visiting it had a severe sea weed problem but that's nature. The worst thing about the hotel is that if you don't upgrade to the privilege package, you are really restricted to what pools you can use and what drinks you can have. It's really annoying as it's not cheap coming here!

Worth every penny.
My family and I stayed at Ocean Riviera Paradise Daisy Family Club, flying in on New Year's Eve and staying for eight days. We almost never stay at the same hotel twice, but we're already thinking about coming back to the resort with other family and friends. The staff were bar none some of the friendliest, most attentive, considerate professionals. The kids club was a highlight for our kids, and we left both of them there for two full days and one half day. They loved it. The staff there, especially Blanca, know how to make the vacation as enjoyable for the kids as it is for adults. They are top notch entertainers, funny, kind, and offer round the clock entertainment. They put on talent shows, did arts and crafts, went on hotel hikes, did face painting and so much more. The water park is perfect for kids and parents with chairs close to the action but far enough away to not get sprayed. The water, as other reviewers have noted, was quite chilly. If they warmed it up a bit it would really make a huge difference. The beach is located at the end of the resort, and it was beautiful. Cancun itself has better waters and beaches, IMO, but this beach was completely groomed and uncrowded. It's also not overrun with vendors selling the same things, instead they were actually diverse and useful vendors selling everything from massages to braids to parasailing. The resort had so many restraunts we didn't have time to get to them all but the highlights were definitely Amareto (the buffet) and the Italian spot.

Fab hotel, great facilities and great food!
Right from the second we drove in to the hotel it was lovely, inside the hotels foyer was big and cool. We were taken to our room on the buggies as it’s a long walk, the rooms are huge with a lovely big comfy bed. I found the pillows a bit too deep but found a thinner one in the wardrobe. Bathroom had his & hers sinks, walk in shower, jacuzzi bath and toilet with a door. The bathroom was a little bit tired, bath had rust around the plug hole and stained grouting but didn’t affect use of the bathroom. I believe the Eden block will be getting a refurb. The pools are large, with quite a few beds but you have to get up early to get one at the Eden pool but Daisy pool tented to be a bit quieter. The swim up bars are brilliant and they have some really good cocktails.. Luis at Eden pool bar was the best bar man. The choice of restaurants is brilliant, our favourite was the Japanese. The food is cooked in front of you with a little show from the chefs. The food in all the restaurants including the buffet was the best we’ve experienced in all inclusive. Lorenz in the Italian and Martin in Blue Moon went above and beyond and are a real asset to the hotel. As are the chefs in Sakura, they must get so hot!! We loved Mike’s coffee shop, there are quite a few drinks to choose from. The hotel shops are nice but very expensive. The shows in the theatre were ok, except the musicals which was brilliant and the Mexican show was good. The outside entertainment was good, the lovely ladies singing and the guy who sang with them on some nights. The Experience team work hard and are all lovely but Ken is absolutely fantastic and hilarious! Definitely a huge asset to the hotel. There’s a games room with an escape room and laser tag and video games as well as pool tables etc. There’s a bowling alley and sports bar with multiple screens showing sports. Seeing the Spider Monkeys, coatis, raccoons and capybaras and iguanas was the icing on the cake. Myself, my husband, my daughter and her boyfriend all said it was our best holiday to date and would definitely go back.
