    Bad times as the Ocean Maya Royale

    Horrible experience. They charged me for a second room that I did not want and never booked and then refused to give me money back. I pleaded with them and spoke to at least six or seven manager types and they could not have cared less. While the prices seem reasoinable, you have to pay a rather steep "privil ege" fee to get good liquor, good meals and the best access to the beach. They make you feel like a peasant if you don't upgrade. There are plenty of great places in Cancun. This is not one of them.

    We went to Ocean Maya during the first week of December for my wife’s birthday! She picked this resort as we’ve been here before and love the staff. Kenddell leads a great entertainment staff! Eber, Miguel and Joni are fun bartenders in the pool. In the lobby bar at night Octavio, Diego and Francisco are the stars behind the bar.

    Honeymoon

    The resort was nice and well maintained. Check in was a smooth and quick process, with friendly staff. The resort is ocean front with clean beach area, they clean it multiple times a day! The room was clean and tidy, bed was comfortable and fridge restocked daily. We were in the 28 block which was nice and central to everything, we never had to worry about noise at night either. The daily entertainment team was great, we participated in multiple activities with them throughout the day and the staff were incredibly friendly! Viri, Kendall, and Marian were super friendly and took time getting to know us and interacting with us, they made it a priority to learn the guests name and about them to make it a more personal experience! The only downfall of the resort for us would be the food, the buffet had limited options compared to previous experiences and the al a cartes were difficult to get into. Once we got into the Italian one, our portion size was two pieces of ravioli and we ended up going to the buffet after anyways. Overall, a good experience!

    Review of all inclusive resort

    My friend and I had a great time at their all-inclusive resort. The staff was amazing and worked very hard every day to make you feel welcome. Viri and Kendel were like our best friends the whole trip and always checked in to make sure we were having a good time. We also had a great experience with Víctor, Marian, and Susy. The rooms were very nice and their night shows were super fun. I would definitely recommend this resort!
