Relaxing enjoyable stay. Tried all the restaurants but enjoyed Pez Dama the most. Their fish and catch of the day is fresh and cooked very well.

Feel the Ocean
We had great time in Ocean El Faro with its beautiful grounds, nice beach and easy access to the ocean. Our Butler Marfel Sofia was outstanding. She made our reservations, checked on us at the beach and in the rooms, and made us very welcomed. Because if her we had a wounderfull experience in Ocean El Faro. We all think that entertaing team and all together entertainment can be improved.

We had a great Christmas holiday at this resort, the entertainment is good, always something to do, clean and tidy everywhere As always there can be improvements things like check in was long after a 9 hour flight, the à la cart restaurants most food was cold, mikes coffee house always had a queue that could be improved Big shout out to Carlos Enrique who went above and beyond to make our stay more enjoyable We were a large party staying over the festive period. Had a few issues when we first arrived but Carlos sorted those issues out for us Thank you

Resort Review – 3.5/5 Stars Overall Resort The resort itself is beautiful, with clear attention to detail throughout the property. Rooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained, which made for a comfortable stay overall. Food & Drinks There is a good variety of both food and drink options available, including gluten-free choices. The resort is mostly allergy-conscious, which is appreciated. However, there were notable downsides: food was sometimes cold, and on occasion meat was undercooked. Food was also not consistently available throughout the day. Reserving specialty restaurants was difficult due to limited time frames, and the language barrier occasionally made communicating food allergies challenging. Pool & Beach The small beach located off to the side of the resort is beautiful, swimmable, and relatively clean. Both the beach and pool areas are conveniently close to the main areas of the resort. Unfortunately, there are frequent hustlers attempting to sell items throughout the day. There is also a lack of available chairs, largely due to guests reserving cabanas and loungers as early as 6:00 a.m., despite posted signs stating this is not allowed and the pool not opening until 10:00 a.m. Service Overall service was quite poor. While not all staff fell into this category, many appeared frustrated or uninterested in their work. On a positive note, housekeeping staff were wonderful, efficient, and consistently pleasant. Air Canada representatives at the resort were also very helpful and professional. Accommodations & Excursions Travel to and from the resort was easy, with accommodations and transportation included and well organized. Excursions such as zip-lining, Monkey Land, and buggies were excellent, earning a 9/10 for cultural education, quality, and overall experience. Nightlife Nightlife was essentially non-existent for adults without children. Paying extra for the El Beso (adults-only) section did not feel worth the cost, as all activities take place on the El Faro (family) side and are primarily geared toward children. Bowling is free; however, guests are limited to one game regardless of availability, which was disappointing. Final Thoughts While the resort is visually stunning and offers comfortable accommodations and enjoyable excursions, issues with food quality, service, and adult-focused entertainment prevent it from being a higher-rated experience.

Trip
Had a great time at Ocean El Faro. The adult pool is where we spent most of our time. The pool entertainment was great. Eliza was a clear stand out for us. She was exceptional. Look forward to going back k again.
