Staff not friendly , we paid for Vip area and a bottle of Champagne for new uear eve and they changed the party in the main lobby due the weather. We couldn’t see the show or something because our “vip area” been in the back just with a tiny table and two small chairs … in two days the desserts fromain buffet had a very mould taste and also with one night before I ve asked for a Coke and the taste was the same mould . When we came in the first day our room smells so bad of mould they said that will send one of the staff for deep cleaning but nobody came . We had to speak with the TUI assistant for that problem . If you don t give tip they are not treating you nice !!! This is not 5 stars hotel

Jan 24, 2026A great visit to Ocean El Faro
This was our first time visiting Punta Cana and Ocean El Faro. We had a great time and definitely hope to return. The staff are very friendly and made us feel welcome. Joel was always available and looked after things for us. Always a smile from him. Markenndy, at the premium beach, is super nice and it was a pleasure chatting with him each day. The grounds are beautiful and the staff work hard to keep everything looking great. We enjoyed our food and drinks and loved being at the beach every day. Thank you to everyone at Ocean El Faro. We hope to be back soon!

Great Experience
Great experience at Pez Dana. Food is excellent and Miguel was so kind. We loved the variation for breakfast and all the fresh fruit

Jan 23, 2026Spanish required and a love of cats
Only sadly when we booked we had all access and 3 weeks before departure was told our access was restricted as "el beso" was now a premium area of adults only (which we were) however we could now not use the adult only areas. Also priveledge area which have own beach area, bathing area, (that you aren't even able to walk on) restaurants etc so the massive report gets reduced to 1/3. Restaurants we had access to were great. Shop very overpriced. (£9.70 for a tube of pringles) I'd suggest knowing Spanish as a lot of the staff do not speak English. Basics needed greetings yes no please thank you, good morning, night etc be able to ask for tea coffee water too ups, where to sit etc is helpful. Stray cats all over which I loved

Worthy Vacation, great experience, above expectations from staffs weather concierge to house and grounds keepers.
First of all, Shout-out to our butler Alexander T. "Amazing hospitality!", He make sure that all our needs are attended and he done beyond imaginable, he is one of the best. Ocean El Faro/El Beso have at least 10 restaurant but our favorites are " The Light House(Premium Lounge), Pez Dama and Villa Marina. We really appreciate the services that went "above and beyond" by Eziquel, Miguel, Junior, Johnny and every one ( how I wish I remember all of their names) "from the front desk to the chef". They were incredibly friendly and efficient, always greeting us with a smile and the food was fresh, hot and delicious. Same goes with shuttle-golfcart drivers/bell boys Isaac and Jahn Carlos, so helpful, entertaining and enthusiastic. "The beach butler Reynaldo/Smily" anticipated our needs before we even asked. Truly made our stay memorable." "Our room was spacious, spotless, and modern with crisp sheets. The bed was incredibly comfortable – thanks to the housekeepers, they comes 2x daily. We loved the blackout curtains for sleeping in and the ocean view from the balcony. The bathroom was clean with great toiletries, robes and sleepers" not to mention the minibar which is refilled daily. "A truly spectacular stay! The elegant design with Lazy river, Lagoon and attentive staff made for a relaxing experience. Highly recommended for its outstanding service."
