Vacation Punta Cana
This is our fourth visit to Ocean El Faro. We always stay privilege, but this time we used the exclusive cabanas located next to the privilege pool. The guys Juan and Berwin looked after our family extremely well. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a flow of drinks before we even asked for them, and a ready supply of food when requested. As normal, we had an amazing time. Also want to give our thanks to Justina and Jhon on the privilege bar who also could not do enough for us, and always greeted us with a smile. We’ve been coming to the Dr for nearly 30 years, and it never lets us down.

We have loved our stay here. Weather has been gorgeous and the facilities are fantastic. Lots to do everyday around the pool and in the evening for adulta and children. Amaurys is excellent and checks in with us every day. Always checking everything is ok and offering to help with anything. Always has a big smile on his face! Angel our concierge is fantastic too.

The resort room and guest services experiences
Our family group of eleven recently stayed at Ocean El Faro, booked through Westjet Vacations, and we would like to share our experience. Upon arrival on Monday afternoon, following a ten-hour flight, we were informed that the originally booked room was unavailable. We were instead offered a room with one king bed and a pull-out sofa bed, which was insufficient for our family of four, consisting of two adults and children aged eight and eleven. This was a disappointing start to our stay, particularly after a connecting flight and a lengthy travel day. Discussions with the check-in staff and the reception manager proved unproductive, with no resolution offered. We were then directed to guest services, where we spoke with Melissa Gil. Unfortunately, Ms. Gil was unhelpful and unresponsive to our concerns. Due to the late hour and exhaustion, the group was forced to accept the offered accommodation, with the understanding that a transfer to a suitable room might be possible the following day. Upon reaching the room, we found no bottled water. Furthermore, we waited until 10 p.m. for the sofa bed to be prepared. The following day, at 4:00 PM, we were relocated to the room initially reserved, which featured two queen-size beds. Overall, the experience was satisfactory, although the check-in process did not align with the standards expected of a five-star hotel. Melissa would benefit from additional training in guest communication techniques. The assistance provided by the Westjet service representative at the hotel help counter was particularly commendable.

Nice week in the DR
First time in the DR and it was a great time, we was new to the all inclusive so we just have a very laid back vacation, the food was very yummy , drinks just kept coming and loved all the service and staff very friendly. Only complaint was the room had a damp smell but after we got in the room unpacked and had the air turn down the dampness went away.
