Horrible experience
The experience so far has been terrible. It started with the transportation link not working and we had to pay out of pocket and they refused to take us back to the airport. The rooms are horrible with stains and cracks. The food is horrible except for the restaurants you need reservations for. The staff seem like they rather be anyplace else but at work. They messed up on the timing for the beach candle light dinner. Not one thing has gone right and everything has been a fight with the staff. I will never come back or recommend this place to anyone. My husband and I are considering leaving and go to a new hotel for the rest of our vacation.

Pure Paradise
My stay was amazing. The resort is beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff made me feel so welcome. Everything was clean, relaxing and full of good vibes. I had the best time and would definitely go back.

Ocean Coral Spring (visited 6/30 - 7/4)
My family and I recently returned from a 4 night stay at the Ocean Coral Spring Resort. We experienced good service from all staff members (although we had to wait a bit sometimes) and many went out of their way to assist my wife and I. The food was alright but not great (except for the Curry Goat from the Sugar Cane restaurant). Our two kids (ages 1 and 3) spent hours at the Water Park and it was nice that our room was in building #1, which is the closest to it. It was also helpful that there was also a good sized pool area right next to it for everyone (kids and adults) that was never crowded since it is located away from the main pool and the lazy river . We spent more time at the pool than at the beach which was a bit rocky and small but a good size for our little ones to get into the water for a bit. Our family also enjoyed the on-site bowling alley and even stopped in the family game area (during their Karaoke Night) which had board games, video games, and air hockey, among other things. One night, we watched the night show which included music and several types of performers (acrobats, fire blowers, etc.). As someone who regularly goes to the Gym, I personally enjoyed having a 24/7 fitness center on site which had enough equipment to get a good workout at any time of the day or night. My wife and I both received 2 vouchers for the Despacio Spa and, although we endured a two hour sales pitch for the resort's Premium Travel Club membership to obtain them, the sales representatives (especially Stephen) were friendly and understanding of our decision to eventually politely decline the offer. Overall rating: 3.75 - 4 out of 5

Would Not Recommend
Our stay overall was a big disappointment. First, there was no tour or even a simple map of the property, leaving us wandering around trying to figure out where everything was located. The towel system was also frustrating: you need a towel card, but they regularly ran out of towels and it closed at 5pm, while the pool is still full of people. Which led to you not getting your towel card back if you were able to get a towel. Then the staff member was annoyed when we left pool towels in our room at checkout. The swim-up bar closes at 5 PM—way too early—and completely lacked music or any vibe you'd expect from a resort. The restaurants were average at best. The Hibachi was decent but required reservations. At Red Snapper, it took forever to get just three meals despite only ten guests present, and another party that arrived after us was served first. They also advertise “10 restaurants,” but not all are actually available to everyone. The room itself was below average: the minibar fridge wasn’t even cold, the bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable, cabinet doors squeaked loudly and wouldn’t close properly, and there was no way to quietly enter or leave because the door was so loud. The fitness center was almost unusable at times since it felt like a sauna with air conditioning that barely worked. The beach access was also disappointing. Lastly, the much-promoted “biggest foam party” was a letdown, with almost no foam or energy at all. The only real positives were the employees themselves—they were friendly and did their best despite everything. Overall, this stay did not live up to expectations or advertising, and I hope management seriously addresses these issues.
