    Family Vacation.

Our family had a great time! Thank you to the entire staff for making it an awesome vacation for our family. We enjoyed the food and the beach was perfect for us. Beautiful place, amazing service, the kids enjoyed the splash pad— we can’t wait to come back!

Disappointing stay - Room Safe Theft concerns

Disappointing Stay – Room safe theft concerns. We were excited for our first trip to Jamaica, but unfortunately, this resort was a huge letdown. We travel the Caribbean once a year and globally twice a year, and this was our worst experience yet. Arrival & Check-in
Private transfer was smooth. Privilege check-in was fine but nothing special. Room
We booked a Privilege room and had a pool/partial sea view room, but it was extremely dated and worn out—cracked surfaces, broken fixtures plugs hanging from the walls , and a filthy sofa and very rusty you wouldn't let your dog sleep on it! Easily the worst room we’ve stayed in, anywhere, rate the room 1 .5 out of 5 Security Concern
Our biggest issue: a large amount of cash was stolen from our locked safe. Management (Andre and Security) conducted an investigation, this included our room being searched but there was no accountability despite having clear camera access and visibility as to who entered our room. To think that you have to enter a visa to access and lock your safe but they still had the nerve to access me take what they want is despicable! And for the staff involved to be left to continue to Steel from their customers is beyond me. Why all staff were not taken into a room at the one time and have it out and asking to their wrong doing is beyond me. My view is that if not one of them owners up to this then they should have all been fired not to be let free and. It held accountable. There was no repercussions. This completely ruined our holiday—we had to carry all valuables, including passports and expensive items, around with us and we had to check to see if everything was still there every time we returned from leaving the room? This was not a pleasant experience and not something that you would expect at a 5 star resort. Staff
Nazwa, our butler, was good, very responsive and hardworking. Andre concierge manger was also helpful during the investigation and really good with checking in on us. Some staff were great (Samshara at Privilege breakfast) normally works at the Italian was very nice and has a lot of potential. Others, shockingly rude especially Britannia at Thalia. She really does need basic customer service training. Claudette (mature lady at the privilege bar in the evenings was also a pleasure to speak to) Service overall was hit or miss depending on who you got. Pool & Beach Pool was nice and big, although closed on a few occasions with people being sick in the pool by guests getting too greedy with drink! Getting beds (US call them chairs) with shade can be problematic especially if you want to mix sun and shade however there are plenty of spots. In terms of the privilege pool area, we thought this was great, although a little cramped at times and not helped by the Eden adult only guests able to cross over to coral but not allowing it the other way. Lazy river was poor compared to other resorts we have stayed at with barely a recognizable flow of water: but they had a great bar with the coldest beers in the resort. The beach was just OK, if you're a beach lover you may be disappointed, it would’ve been much nicer if it was a Long and wider. But the service on the beach was great Millicent was very attentive and efficient and took a genuine interest in looking after us! We saw lots of complaints about a very rocky and coral laiden beach however we didn’t find this on the privilege side. My husband loves a 5pm beer and this resort does lack that. Our first week the main bar at red snapper refused service saying they closed at 5 and others saying similar. They would benefit from a really nice relaxing place to have an early evening / late afternoon beer and quiet spot to read! Having stayed at a few places in the Caribbean and experienced great beach bars this resort would benefit from an exceptional beach bar, we felt that this was also a slight miss from this resort. Food & Entertainment
Food was one of the better aspects—lots of variety and good quality for all-inclusive. There was a lot of choice restaurant wise and we enjoyed a lot of the food choices, jerk chicken hut for lunch in particular was great. Entertainment, during the day by the pool was weak and lacked energy the 3 individuals spent more time dancing with each other rather than trying to engage with holiday makers. Probably one of the worst we've experienced yet! Getting a good pool bed meant waking up as early as 5–7am. Other feedback * No teens club as advertised—false information from TUI. One of the reasons we booked this resort. * Gift shop was overpriced with dreadful poor service. * The square at night had a nice atmosphere. * Mike's cafe was good * No where to get ice Cream in the day until 4pm. The only place that did ice cream was the main buffet whilst having lunch and you were not able to take out. We found this very strange not to have ice cream available until 4pm! * Resort lacked comfortable outdoor plush seating areas where you could sit quietly and relax. Conclusion
The resort grounds are well-kept, and the square is nice but the rooms need urgent renovation and staff need basic customer service training. The theft issue wasn’t isolated—we spoke to other families who experienced the same where their sages had also been broke into and staff helping themselves to cash. We won’t return and don’t recommend this resort for anyone expecting a luxury stay unless you want to be stolen from. Overall, the theft issue aside, in our opinion this resort leans towards a 2.5-3 star maximum there is a lot of work to be considered and to work on to get to the 5 star they advertise. We also recommended revisiting your investigation process and have some form of staff checks implemented to ensure your customers and their personal belongings are safe whilst staying at your resort.

    10/10 experience

Myself and family had a wonderful time at the Ocean Coral Spring, the staff was friendly and accommodating, the rooms were spacious and very clean. There was so much entertainment for my 6yr and 15yr old. The ocean view from the room was breathtaking, and the food was absolutely delicious so much variety and so much to choose from. We will 100% be back again for sure.

Don't travel to escape life, travel so life doesn't escape you.

They say "first impression lasts" and Georgia at front desk check in is the epitome of such phrase. Chef Michael, lifeguard Robert and this gentleman Courtney exuded warmth, humility and goodwill. Loved the food, the ambiance, the pool but what makes the experience better? The exceptional staff!!! I hope they're well compensated.

    Definitely going back!

The best experience EVER! The staff were super kind and accommodating. My room was very clean and the view was amazing. The night life was very entertaining and there was a lot of fun options for the kids. I would recommend this resort for sure!
