    10 days in paradise ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jose in guest service is Amazing!!

    Was a rough start with an unexpected AC leak but Jose in guest services saved our one year anniversary trip. He upgraded our room, went above and beyond to hair our vacation AMAZING. The resort is absolutely wonderful, clean and comfortable. The beach is so clean, soft sand with the most amazing turquoise water. The staff ALL are so friendly, hard working and will all go out of their way to make your trip unforgettable and perfect just for you. They make you feel special and they care. The resort is perfect, 3 pools with bars and delicious drinks, food that is delicious and easy accessible, from burgers, deserts, ice cream, fresh fruits, salads, fresh made omelets to your liking and a choice between 2 buffets for breakfast and lunch and snacks all day in the main bar inside. There are also 3 other dinner restaurants the Italian, Mexican and Seafood all of which serve delicious entrees! The inside bar offers fantastic music in the evening as well as top drinks and dancing. There is nighty entertainment, all the performances were wonderful, our favorite the circus but none disappointed. The rooms are well kept, clean and the cleaning staff will go out of their way to make your needs met and mini fridge stocked daily with drinks and snacks. Again thank you Jose in guest service for making our one year anniversary trip absolutely perfect and Thank you to all the staff at Occidental Tucancun for the hospitality and memorable Anniversary trip ❤️

    Good enough for the price point

    We have stayed at much nicer resorts in Cancun and decided to sacrifice this time for the price point here. We won't do that again. While our time here was fine, it definitely deserves the 7stars. We were disappointed in the availablity of the restaurants at night and the lack of pool and beach bar service. The room was below average at best, but overall the resort was well kept and nice enough. I do think we were in an older section of the hotel and also did not have VIP status which prevented us from making reservations and also I believe the nicer rooms.

    Best beach in Cancun, we love this resort and their amazing friendly people. Best cocktails that a gringo like me can hope for 😅
