We had a wonderful Christmas vacation here with our family. The staff was helpful and the restaurant servers were very friendly and made sure that all our needs were met. A special shout out to Mateo and Gumer in the ocean front Mexican cuisine restaurant. They were great! We enjoyed all of the wildlife, especially the Coatis.

Holiday of a Lifetime !
Ranu Bahia with Experience Travel recommended this resort for a family vacation after hearing me out on what I wanted. Wow - everything I hoped for in a vacation was realized. We had a fabulous time. This family oriented resort was perfect for our needs which was a challenge because there were old, adult and teens involved. LOTS of options and things to do and the quality of food was great.

I loved watching the ocean from my swim out room and it was close enough to the beach side bar that we had service id definitely ask for one of those rooms next to the bar, if I go again.

Dec 31, 2025Won’t make that mistake again
We just returned home from 4 days at Dreams Sapphire. We were not impressed at all. We have been to a few resorts in the area and realize we were not getting the same level resort that we were used to. This was our kids first time out of the country and wanted to stay somewhere with activities for them. We chose Sapphire because of the water slides. We read reviews and saw they had a renovation in 2019 I believe. I didn’t see it. Our room was basically a run down Holiday Inn and that’s being generous. The nightstand was held together by drywall screws. The dresser was falling apart. Shower door would catch on the floor(it’s all glass, not a good combo). Food was not good in the restaurants. Not to mention the lack of seating. If you weren’t very early to a restaurant you would have over an hour wait. Our last night we showed up to Bordeaux 15 minutes before the opened and still had an hour and 15 minute wait. All for a lesser meal than Applebees. Pool was nice and the service was great but the accommodations and food definitely outweighed that in our opinion.

Amazing visit to Cancun at a resort!
We had a great time on this trip! Tony and Abraham as well as the rest of the musical trivia group on December 31st were amazing and very helpful!
