While the room was clean and spacious, which we appreciated, the hardness of the bed pillows caused significant neck pain and stiffness for everyone in our room throughout the stay. We were disappointed with the limited group activities available at the main pools and across the resort. More engagement in these areas would significantly enhance the guest experience. The food experience was mediocre overall. I primarily ended up eating bread and pasta salads, as the other options were not enjoyable. Unfortunately, the resort has a boring vibe and definitely won't return.

Absolutely book here as you won't regret it. Do the preferred club for the extra money. The staff is amazing, the food is good, and the place is overall beautiful. This was paradise to us. We have been to many resorts in Jamaica and Mexico but this was by far the best we have ever been too.

Dec 15, 2025Don't stay here with kids under 4 years old
The hotel staff are not helpful, they drop the call 3 times and don't address the issue when traveling with young kids. I do not recommend a family to stay here at all. There's better accomodations available at Iberostar Selection Hacienda Dominicus - All Inclusive. If you're a parent travel with 2 kids under 4 years old, don't stay here. They have zero regard for your comfort.

Fantastic experience
100% recommend. Pools are awesome. Right near the beach. Great food and service. I was travelling as a single parent with two younger kids and felt very safe.

This is second time in this hotel. In general is a great hotel but needs renovation. The staff is pleasant with exception of cafe were the ladies need customer service training. The biggest problem is food which is average. The only restaurant we liked was Italian but only if you eat shrimp dishes. Pasta or lasagna were terrible. Mexican restaurant shouldn’t be called Mexican, Asian restaurant the food was salty and we couldn’t eat it. Finally the French restaurant wow what a joke it was Never had so awful onion soup in my life.
