Something for all ages
What an amazing experience at Dreams Onyx. Our family of 10. Infants to adults was managed by the Dreams team every step of our trip. Room accommodations for infants to dinner reservations for 10 - including birthday dinner cake and room decorations. Was something for everyone.

Dream Vacation at Dreams Onxy
The resort is beautiful but what really made our trip was the phenomenal staff. Our butler Francisco made sure we had everything we needed, made all our dinner reservations and provided all activities available. The Preferred Club staff was outstanding - Poolside: Ismal, Nellie and Pedro made sure was had a drink in hand and were having a good time. Anji at the Preferred Beach made sure we had whatever we wanted and checked in hourly. The Staff did not disappointment. We were treated like royalty. We will definitely be back to see our new family. John & Ann M.

Beautiful facility, great beach and pool experience. The all inclusive was pretty much all inclusive they do offer some upgrades but nothing you have to have. The staff was amazing and exceeded our expectation! They have and adult only area and a family area. I would recommend them to anyone and hope we can visit again.

Best vacation and wedding resort!
Best resort ever! This was our second stay at the Dreams Onyx. We first stayed in April 2024, loved it so much we decided to have our wedding here in November 2025. We were a group of 40 ranging from toddlers - 85. Everyone enjoyed themselves, many of our group are already planning a trip back. The moment we got there we were welcomed with such warmth. The entire 10 days we felt so at home and well looked after. I can honestly say the staff here are unlike any other resort we've been to. They really strive for personalized service, and absolutely deliver on it. In fact, one of our wonderful pool servers, Elephante, recognized my husband as soon as we arrived which was unbelievable. Him and Dani primarily took care of us during the day and they do an incredible job. I don't think anyone was ever without a drink! We had a Preferred Club private pool room and it was fantastic. I've never been one to see much value in upgrading to special classes when traveling but that's definitely changed. It was so nice to have the lounge and al a carte breakfast and lunch. Our butler was Zorro and he was so friendly and helpful. He really helped take stress off us leading up to our big day and was able to organize some special plans for us to unwind afterwards. The Preferred Club adults only pool is truly a dream. It's so tranquil and such an interesting design, the perfect place to hide away and really relax. Nellis is such an absolute sweet heart! We only spent two days at the adults pool once some of our guests started going home and it felt like we had known her for years. The food we had during our stay was all very good. Our favourite al a carte dinner was probably Cin Cin, the ossobuco was delish! It was so hard to choose a favourite as they were all excellent. The kids loved the ice cream and burger shops. My husband still cannot stop talking about the sancocho served one day on the beach. It was such a treat to try more Dominican food. That was also my favourite section of the lunch buffet. The resort has many different options for entertainment throughout the day and night. Many of our guests watching the evening shows and enjoyed them. The kids loved the blow up balls on the pool they could go inside. There was always something to do. Drake really made a connection with our group and was great to joke around with. Another big hit, of course, was the water park. We found there to always be more than enough tubes. The only thing was I wish there would have been more activities at that pool. They have such a great stage there, it could definitely be used more. And of course the main reason we were there, the wedding. We had Manuela as our coordinator and she did an outstanding job. I was quite and anxious bride going in not knowing how things would turn out and she absolutely knocked it out of the park. The fountain made a perfect ceremony spot and the main pool was great for our reception. I still can't get over my flowers, so stunning. The food for the cocktail hour and reception was great. All around such a good experience. If you haven't already realized, I LOVE THIS PLACE! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful vacation with the best staff. We cannot wait to return.
