Great resort to to relax and enjoy good food. We had a great experience at Dreams Royal Beach resort. Rooms were great in size and clean. Buffet was amazing and it felt like a restaurant. Restaurant were great and appreciate the set up where no booking in advance is required. Beach are was really good ( we did not use the pool). We would definitely go back. Thank you.

Hotel is lovely. The rooms , gardens and pools are like something from a movie. What let’s it doing are the staff and the food, also if you go preferred club be aware you won’t get half the perks advertised.

Food was awful across the board!!!! Rooms are humid with no bathroom venting. Small main pool with very few chairs. Snacks in room not replenished. Construction noise at the slide pool! Beach- is public and vendors are relentless ( every 5 min). Water is NOT blue and clear, it’s brown with a lot of seaweed. Pool towels not always available. New Italian restaurant is awful. Don’t waste your money or vacation time. Staff were friendly!

Sep 08, 2025Great memories had at Dreams Royal
We just returned from a wonderful week at Dreams Royal. I would definitely recommend this hotel, however I would insist on staying in the new premier section of the resort. The older part is a bit rundown and the pools are in need of repair. There are missing tiles and large chunks of coping that have broken off in the Lazy River. The resort and grounds are kept clean and in immaculate condition at all times. You will constantly see somebody painting or scrubbing to make sure things are in pristine condition. When you stay in the premier section, you are lucky enough to get a concierge to help you out with the resort services. I highly recommend requesting Michael, he was absolutely remarkable to deal with. We have stayed at other Dreams resorts in Punta Cana and this one compares to the rest. The only complaint we have is the quality of the food. We stayed at Dreams Flora last year and enjoyed the food much better at that resort. The beach was very well maintained, they were constantly cleaning up the seaweed and by the end of our stay the water was actually clearing up enough that you could see your feet at the bottom. Everything being said, we would definitely return!

Beautiful spot for destination wedding!
We stayed in a swim up room in the main part of the hotel. It was very nice. Our butler, Roberto was stellar! We came to Punta Cana for a destination wedding and it was beautiful! Christina was very helpful and accommodated our desires. We also traveled with our infant and was able to enjoy everything. Wish there was a baby sitting service for younger kids to be able to enjoy a parents night out. We had family this time so we were able to do that; however, if we had traveled on our own wouldn’t have had a babysitter. Overall, great experience and beautiful time! Would recommend!!
