This is our 4th visit to Dreams Shappire over the past 10 years, and we continue to enjoy the resort. The service and food are excellent, and your staff treated us very well.

Great Family Friendly Resort
Great family friendly resort, would recommend! We traveled with 1 infant and 2 kids under 5. Since we were traveling with kids, we chose this resort due to its proximity to the airport - easier and quicker transfer from airport to resort. Lots of kid friendly activities were hosted throughout the week. It is a good size resort, intimate for families. Everything is walkable, however golf carts are available for pick up/drop off if needed. The staff in every area of the hotel were amazing, friendly, welcoming, social, and happy. They always go above your expectations to make your trip special. The beach has a lot of seaweed, so we stayed the pool. Overall cleanliness of the hotel is 10/10. Keep in mind, racoons seem to be a local animal here. There are A LOT of them everywhere! All day... However, they will not interfere with you as long as you don't feed them.

Overall a good trip. Glad we booked two rooms for us and our daughters - good bonding time for all. Food was great; didn't love the first come first serve dinner reservations. Rooms were run down. The beds very uncomfortable. Pool area is nice, just that you are side by side in lawn chairs in rows with no space in between. You get used to it, but would rather not have to. Beach area is small and not really enjoyable. Staff were very friendly and kind. We were "preferred guests" and glad to have the option. Would prefer to check out a different resort next time.

average resort for price
had a basic room from 1-9 to 1-15 did not upgrade to preferred status. the resort was clean but if you start looking at it closely it is showing wear & tear. beach was average for area while we were there two days there was a fair amount of sea weed in water & on beach rest of trip water & beach was pretty clean . they did clean the beach every morning that we were there. as for the preferred up grade i do not believe is worth anyone can go to the preferred pool & bar. if you don't have a card to enter preferred club just wait until someone goes in & follow never seen them ask anyone. no complaints on food . most people complaining about sapphire were wanting a $12000 vacation $3000. for the price it's not bad

Service was great, staff very friendly and happy
The resort is a great size and the staff are friendly and always asking if we needed a drink. We never had to go to the bar except the swim up bar. The rooms are just okay but the pools and restaurants are nice. In December there was alot of seaweed so we didn't use the beach but instead hung by the pool.
