  Spectacular Volcano View!

  This luxurious, tented camp is perfectly located with spectacular views of the Arenal Volcano. Each private tent is quite large, beautifully appointed with an infinity hot springs pool and an in and outdoor shower. With the glass sliders facing the volcano, and a variety of birdlife present, you won't want to leave your room! Be sure to take advantage of breakfast being served on your private patio. Very special. It is a bit of a walk to the various pools, spa and restaurants on the property but golf carts are available for transport. Book your reservation well in advance as pricing fluctuates based upon occupancy and demand.

  An Unforgettable 40th Birthday in the Jungle

  Nayara Tented Camp is genuinely special. The customer service here is beyond excellent. I had a few minor issues pop up during our stay and every single one was handled immediately once I mentioned it. No defensiveness, no delay, just quick fixes with kindness and professionalism. It honestly set the tone for the entire experience. The staff driving the golf carts deserve a special shoutout. They were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to point out wildlife as we moved around the property. Sloths, frogs, birds, all casually spotted because they actually want you to see and enjoy the jungle around you. That kind of enthusiasm really adds to the magic of the place. We usually skip plunge pools when booking resorts, but we used ours a lot. The water was warm, the views were unreal, and it became one of our favorite ways to unwind. Sitting in a plunge pool, surrounded by jungle sounds, was way more relaxing than we expected. The small touches really stood out. Free laundry service, complimentary local tropical fruit in the room, thoughtful details everywhere that made the stay feel effortless and elevated. Nothing felt forced or overdone, just genuinely well thought out. We came here to celebrate my 40th birthday, and I could not have picked a better place. Celebrating in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by nature, comfort, and exceptional people, is something I will always remember. This is an incredible place, and I would absolutely recommend it without hesitation.

  Outstanding visit

  An outstanding experience. The "tent" was totally luxurious, all of the staff were amazing. The food is wonderful, the grounds are impeccable. We did the romantic dinner at Besa Me Mucho - outstanding.

  Nayara Tent Review.

  We had a wonderful time at your resort. Everyone was pleasant , friendly and helpful at all times. Food was excellent. Rooms were lovely and we really enjoyed the plunge pool. Housekeeping kept our room tidy and clean. All the excursions and tour guides were wonderful. We had some issues with our arrival and Rafael was very helpful to ensure we were taken care of. We were diverted to El Salvador due to a fire at the airport and lost a day. We received a credit which was highly appreciated. Most places would not have offered this. Rafael also helped us with activities and dinner reservations. To experience the resort is very special . We would love to go to Chile or Panama. I would have to say I think its a little pricey and have to save this for special occasion. All and all we had a 5 star vacation.

  Our kind of Tent...

  This was our first trip to Costa Rica and we wanted to make the most of just the rainforest ecosystem since we've done so many great beaches around the world. Nayara and the La Fortuna area seemed like the best spot to indulge in luxury while experiencing the best of the eco tours nearby. You may have seen Nayara featured on "The Reluctant Traveler" with comedian Eugene Levy. We spent 5 nights camped out at Nayara and loved everything about being there. Lush tropical flora and an amazing assortment of creatures right on the property including sloths with their babies. Our tent, 25-Tucan, had a great view of the Arenal volcano which we saw perfectly for about 5 minutes during our 5 nights so we got busy with the camera. We tried all the restaurants and thought the Italian venue, Mis Amores, with chef Deivin in charge was the best with unbelievable pizza and a tableside flambe pasta. Ayla was also very nice for breakfast and a few dinners. Nice live entertainment. The buggy (golf cart) drivers were great ambassadors for the property but I had to keep getting more dollars to say "thank you" which was all the time since walking is somewhat challenging in the dark. We enjoyed excursions arranged by Nayara which included a Night Frog Tour, Mistico Park Hanging Bridges, 5:30am Bird Watching, horseback riding and we also enjoyed the free on-site tours finding all sorts of bugs and colorful frogs. We can't see how you wouldn't enjoy the first class experience at Nayara and the surrounding area.
