Mount Cinnamon is the perfect blend of Grenadian warmth and world-class comfort. One of the highlights of our stay was the Friday night bonfire—a magical evening where mains come with three delicious sides to share, all enjoyed with toes in the sand, the fire glowing on the beach, and the sound of waves rolling onto the world-famous Grand Anse. The newly rebranded Flying Fish Restaurant serves breakfast and dinner with a mix of cultural dishes and classics like English Breakfast and Eggs Benedict—be sure to try the Caribbean Breakfast with plantain, saltfish, ground provisions, and Creole-spiced favorites. The staff were outstanding—genuinely kind, attentive, and always happy to help no matter the request. We also loved the “Cinnamon Fit” gym, tucked just off the beach, with a fantastic mix of classic and modern equipment. Every room boasts a postcard-worthy view of Grand Anse. We stayed in a villa while friends enjoyed the chic Cinnamon Suites—both are beautifully designed, with Caribbean-inspired décor and thoughtful touches like colorful SMEG fridges that made the spaces feel extra special. Whether you’re a couple looking for romance, a family wanting fun, a nature lover chasing adventure, or even a business traveler in need of comfort with character—Mount Cinnamon delivers. It’s truly a gem of Grand Anse, and we can’t recommend it enough!

Fantastic views and food
Mount Cinnamon was a nice peaceful break after SpiceMas. The Cinnamon Suite was spacious and comfortable with an incredible ocean and mountain view. The food was spectacular and the octopus is a must try!

Relaxing vacation with a little turn up!
First time at the beautiful Mt Cinnamon resort and I can't wait to return! Grenada is a beautiful and magical island full of nature at its best. The food and service was unmatched. Breakfast was included in our plan daily so please don't forget to try the breakfast roti, delicious. Leonna called me by name every morning and knew exactly what I wanted before I even ordered. The beds and pillows were so comfortable, better than most which is important for me. If you're traveling from the US don't forget to pack an adapter for the outlets. They provide one but if you're like me, bring yours. Rondell at the front desk was great and Faith in the wellness Spa gives an exceptional massage so if you want to relax, request her. A very special shout out to Nicholas with guest services, he went above and beyond to ensure my stay was exceptional. Thank you Mt Cinnamon, I'll see you soon!

Rum Punch, Cricket, and Caribbean Vibes — Mount Cinnamon Wins!
I always do Pros/Cons for hotels — it helps other travelers decide. This one has very few cons! 🌟 PROS 🏡 The Room – My top pro! I stayed in one of the Cinnamon Suites (recently renovated) and loved it!! At first, I was on the bottom floor. I immediately asked to go higher — they couldn’t accommodate me that day but moved me up the very next morning. WOOOO! That view. Totally worth it., Morning meditation felt incredible. Grenada carries a grounding energy that connects you deeply to the moment." 🏖️ The Beach – Fantastic! Chairs and towels were always readily available. The place by the Tree is the top spot on the beach. Perfect spot to relax and reset. 🍹 Rum Punch – A must. Every. Single. Day. 🤝 Friendly Staff Check-in was quick and smooth. The bar staff? Amazing! Loved sitting, chatting, and laughing with them. 🏏 Cricket + Community Vibes During my stay, the staff from Mount Cinnamon played cricket with another hotel’s team. The hotel provided their food (“rundown” — a delicious local dish) and other goodies. It was beautiful seeing the staff enjoy themselves with their families. Any hotel that pours back into its people is a win-win for everyone. 💙 Overall Vibe – I was sad to leave. Recently renovated, friendly staff, fantastic beach — you can’t go wrong staying here. ⚡ CONS ⛰️ The Climb – Be ready! The resort is built on a mountain — and it’s no joke. They do provide a car to drive you backward up the steep hills 😄, but be prepared to walk. 🍽️ Dinner Prices Dinner is overpriced; I’d recommend eating out instead. Breakfast, though, is fantastic! I went with the local dish every morning and loved it. 🎶 Entertainment This could use a little work. Personal preference: avoid singing U.S. “States” songs; I would’ve loved more steel drums and authentic Grenadian vibes. -- Note for trip to Grenada: Grenadians don’t let tourists run their island (good for them!). During college finals, after 5 PM, the students took over the beach. Close to this resort is an area where they hold cookouts, and it is a whole vibe that is part of their culture. I loved it!!

Love ❤️ this resort!
My family and I have been to Grenada many times. We love the island. We just got back from our most recent trip and it was by far our favorite! Mt. Cinnamon is the place to stay in Grenada. The property and rooms are beautiful. The architecture is like an Italian villa on the Amalfi coast. Our suite was very clean and had beautiful views of the gardens, beach and St. George beyond. Breakfast every morning was included and it was so yummy. From local favorites to eggs Benedict we never got bored with the menu. We also ate lunch and supper at the hotel most days. The food and service were always spectacular. The only reason we did not eat every meal at Mt. Cinnamon is that we love to eat at our other favorite places on the island. The resort is kid and family friendly. The staff and manager, Laura, are friendly, fun to talk with and a delight to get to know! It felt like we were staying with old friends. We will be coming back for years to come!
