The resort was great, rooms sufficed (we didn’t go for the room and it was nice, clean and functional), the beach was beautiful! The vendors on the beach were a bit annoying but that was fine too). What made this trip was the staff!! Beautiful people who work hard and are happy to do their work!! Our butler, Amable Sentil made everything so easy and perfect. We had some time to just talk to him and he’s just a good person who loves his job and goes above and beyond. The entertainment staff was fantastic too. Oswaldo Noel was so personable and made us feel like family. Our only complaint was a problem with the water one day. It was cold and then it was gone. We had no water at all for a few hours (resort wide). This could have been communicated a little earlier, but they took care of it and all was well. I would give this a strong 9/10. The grounds were beautiful and the staff worked hard to keep things nice. Housekeepers were great, mini bar sufficient and lots of snacks. We had a great time and hope to return as they are making some updates to the property.

Terrible and unacceptable management. I reserved a suite at the adults only. After two hours of trying to check in they sent us, with no kids, to the resort next door with tons of kids.they claimed that we booked at the other resort but we did not. We paid the price of the adults only resort and were forced to take basically the worst room at the kids resort or lose our non refundable payment. This resort baits and switches customers. We ended up staying in a room the furthest from the beach and got to eat at the kid friendly kid food restaurants. The resort over booked their rooms and sent us to their lower tier resort that was over 100 less for the night. This was confirmed by the staff who let it slip out. They could have offered an upgrade or refund the difference but nothing. And the two hour check in was exhausting. My reservation stated clearly adults only. I showed them and they just didn’t care. For this I rate the resort as low as possible because this is just not acceptable. They did nothing to accommodate.

We stayed for a brief anniversary trip. Clean, comfortable room, albeit the buildings are showing their age. The “Level” facility was the way to go!! Definitely worth the extra. We enjoyed all the meals we ate at Quimera, just allow time as the service is on island time. Special thanks to Eddie, Oliver & Orlando for working hard to make our stay special!

A beautiful resort with the nicest employees. Every person we encountered was so lovely.
This place was amazing from start to finish. We stayed in a Level beachside room. We had the best concierge Alejandro Estrella who took care of everything for us. He really made our anniversary trip so special. From dinner reservations, spa reservations to bringing us to find an atm. We were well taken care of. Would definitely recommend this resort!
