  Nice but loud

  It's a much improved hotel from what it used to be. Great beach, But unfortunately the hotel constantly blasts annoying music all day in the pool and beach area. Not a place to come and relax. A complete disregard to the beautiful natural surrounding.

  Amazing Stay at Meliá Casa Maya Cancún

  We just returned from a week at Meliá Casa Maya Cancún, and it was hands down one of the best vacations we’ve ever had! From start to finish, everything about this resort was exceptional. Food & Dining The food was outstanding! The buffet always had so many fresh and tasty options, and every à la carte restaurant we tried felt like a special night out. Our favourite was the breakfast and dinner at Cape Nao. The variety was impressive and it was all delicious. We especially appreciated how consistent the quality was. No one in our group had a food allergy, but we really appreciated that we were asked ahead of every meal if someone did. This gave us great peace-of-mind for those people who do have allergies. Cleanliness The resort is spotless. Our room was cleaned daily with such attention to detail, and we always felt comfortable and safe in every part of the property. The pools, beach area, and common spaces were all beautifully maintained. Bars & Drinks The drinks were fantastic! Every bar we visited had great service, and the bartenders were so friendly. Cocktails were made with care, and there were plenty of premium options available. I especially loved grabbing a margarita by the pool in the afternoons. Entertainment The entertainment team kept things lively and fun. During the day there were activities by the pool and beach, run by Marianna, Chris, Elias, they were all exceptional. At night the shows were energetic and so much fun to watch. We loved that there was always something happening if you wanted to join in, but also plenty of quiet spots if you just wanted to relax. Environmental Sustainability It was nice to see the resort making real efforts to be eco-friendly. We noticed reduced plastics, reusable options, and recycling and organics bins. It felt good knowing that while we were enjoying ourselves, the resort was also looking out for the environment. Rooms Our room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. The bed and bedding was amazing, and we had great sleeps nightly. We really appreciated the little touches—plush robes, quality toiletries, and turn-down service made it feel extra special. The Level Upgrade We did The Level upgrade, and I can’t recommend it enough. The private check-in, access to exclusive lounges, and reserved areas at the beach made our stay feel so personalized and peaceful. Our Concierge Majo was an absolute blessing. From the minute we checked-in, to the minute we checked out, she was such a integral part of our stay. She managed our dinner reservations, made us aware of daily activities and made sure that all of our questions were answered promptly. These details made our trip smoother, having her guidance and seeing her big smile daily made such a big difference. Staff The staff truly made this trip unforgettable. Every single person we interacted with was friendly, warm, and went above and beyond. From the waiters and bartenders to the housekeepers and entertainment team, the service was genuine and heartfelt. Meliá Casa Maya Cancún exceeded our expectations in every way. The food, the service, the entertainment, the rooms, and the overall atmosphere were just perfect. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a wonderful all-inclusive experience in Cancún!

  BEST FOOD AND SERVICE!

  This resort was 10/10 for so many things but most importantly THE FOOD! I’ve stayed at many all-inclusives and the food has always been sub-par but this by far exceeded my expectations! The flavors and selections were absolutely the BEST! It wasn’t crowded and the service was A1! Everything has been recently updated and remodeled. And everything looks so shiny and new!

  A Lovely Experience

  I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious, ideal for families, and very comfortable. The food is varied offering something for every taste. The staff is genuinely attentive and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The beach is stunning, though the only drawback is the presence of sargassum, which could be cleaned more frequently. Additionally, the lobby would benefit from more regular cleaning. Despite these minor issues, I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for families.

  4/5 - The beach :(

  Hi! First and foremost - the staff at Melia Casa Maya are GREAT! Always smiling, working so hard to make your stay comfortable, they were fantastic to meet! The staff members during breakfast - outstanding. The Italian Cuisine staff were incredible, and the food there was amazing! The resort itself was nice, I would recommend to "level" up as the room was spacious and we were on the 8th floor, which had a nice view. My family member rooms were nice too, spacious and no issues to report of. Great place for kids. My nephew had a TON of fun at the Waterpark and the pool! The food was really good at the resort overall. Yes, some repetitive meals during breakfast but dinner was different. The drinks though! GREAT! Again, LEVEL up and you have more choices and the bartenders know what they are doing! :) MAJOR downside. This has nothing to do with the Melia Casa Maya - but we got hit with major sargassum issues - the beach was intolerable. By day 3, the beach was yellow and the smell of the sargassum was horrible. Everyone was forced to go to the pool or Waterpark area. But my family came for the beach and it's sad that the Mexican Government aren't doing more to solve this issue for the resorts along that strip. Or this trip would have been 10/5! :) Also note, that the shoreline is owned by the Federal Government - so lots, and LOTS of public traffic at this resort, which was not what we expected. So the little beach time we did get during day 1-2 - it was packed with locals. This resort is situated next to a major public entrance so you do have to keep an eye on your stuff as well, just to ensure nothing gets taken. (Although, they do have security patrolling) Overall, a decent experience, but would not come back, due to the public access and beach situation. However, Melia Casa staff was outstanding, the resort is nice! So kudos to the hard working people at Melia Casa Maya! :) You did well!
