  Nice all-inclusive resort

  Very good stay. Nice pool and beach, food buffets and restos very good. Had a nice massage at the spa.

  Great place for Families!

  We just returned from Meliá Caribe Beach Resort and had the best time! Positives: -The waterpark was great for all ages. The O grille restaurant at the water park is sit down à la carte and the food is really good. The double smash burger was a family favorite. They also serve ice cream here all day which of course the kids loved. We ate here most lunches. -The kids program and kids club was top notch-with new activities for the kids each day. They had foam parties, slime parties, giant inflatables in the pool, and inflatable bounce houses on different days of the week. Some of the activities parents attend with the kids.. The kids had a blast and actually asked to go to the kids club! The schedule for the kids program can be obtained from the towel desk at the front of the water park. I found I had to use that and the schedule on the app because the app didn’t always show everything -Fun Republic, the night spot for Families, it’s like a 5 min walk or a 30 second golf trolley from the main lobby. There are not one, but two, 18 hole Mini putt courses, a high ropes course, carousel, face painting, shows and live music , candy and ice cream truck, two indoor playscape for different age levels and a rock climbing wall. It’s only open Wed-Sunday but it’s a do not miss! The one thing I will say, the food at the restaurant was terrible (literally the only bad thing I ate all week-everything else was fabulous) -Our kids really enjoyed the shows at night in the lobby, they do something for the kids starting at 8 and then a main show for everyone at 8:45pm. The circus shows and magic shows were my kids favs. -we had little to no sargassum when we were there so the beach was so soft and you could walk a decent distance along the water - We booked our reservations at the kiosk tablet in the Bazaar buffet in the morning and never had issues. It seemed to be a less known way to book them. Most people would wait in the long line at the main lobby to make reservations. We ate at Rumba, the Italian place and the Mexican place (twice), we did not get to the steak place. All the meals were great at these restaurants! Less Positives: - Finding chairs at the beach and pool could be challenging but we never had a problem finding them at the water park. We found if we started at the water park and then ventured over to the pool or beach around 1 then there seemed to be a bit of a turnover and we could snag seats from people who were leaving. It wasn’t too big of a deal to us but I can see how people would find it frustrating. We had 3 kids 5,7, and 10 in tow so we moved around during the day and never set up camp for more than a few hours. -The room was tired and a little worn down. The shower never got above lukewarm. For us this wasn’t a huge deal because we hardly spent any time in the room anyway and we would just have a quick shower and hit the heat of the sun. We put the sign on our door for service everyday and always came back to clean room and mini bar/snacks refilled. We would leave a tip every few days for the staff. Overall we had a great experience, and our kids are already begging to go back.

  Kidsdom

  The Kidsdom club is great, so many activities for children. Crafts by the pool, foam party were a hit with my daughter! The team were so kind.
