    Melia Caribe Punta Cana

    Upon arrival we realized some items(jewelry)were stolen out of one of our suitcases. We do realize this is partially our fault forgetting to lock it. As our other cases were locked and not tampered with. However... our things were stolen. Check in was a bit unorganized. We were not given our room safe key and or towel cards. Given that it is a bigger resort. Having to go back to the lobby after we already checked in is a bit inconvenient for items that seem standard to me while at the initial check in time. The one and only morning that I didn't leave tip money for housekeeping. Our clothing items that were left on our bathroom counter were placed into the bidet in the bathroom and our mini fridge wasn't replenished. The front desk brought more water and offered to wash our clothes. But.. Still just gross and inappropriate to have happen. The staff overall were friendly with some random male workers looking inappropriately. I'm an easygoing person and let things slide. So the fact that I'm even writing this review says a lot if you were to know who I am. The resort was standard, what you usually get at an all inclusive. The food was decent. Beach was decent. Male workers on the beach as mentioned before... It wasn't a bad resort, but not great either. Personally. I'm left not caring to return to the Dominican. It was my second time trying.

    Family holiday

    We arrived at the resort on the 20th in the evening,the check in process was done by Junior. He was very efficient and surprised me with an upgrade to a suite as we went out celebrate our wedding anniversary-nice touch. The room was very nice and comfortable. The resort is very big and very well maintained.The food options are excellent with many choices of cuisines. The ala-carte restaurants are many and varied,the service is a bit hit and miss. The Mexican restaurant La Haceinda was lacking in service, we arrived at the restaurant at the booked time and told the greeter several times that 3 of us were vegetarian,and she assured us that we will be accommodated.When the food finally arrived 1 dish meant to be vegetarian was in fact meat.Upon complaining the attitude shown at best -not bothered.By the way the drinks finally came when the main course was served! My son went to the guest services to complain and staff there were amazing they handled everything so amazingly-special shout out to the duty manager Juan Garcia, As a treat he arranged a late check out for all our rooms. Thank you Juan! All in all - a great place with amazing people and great resort Thank you

    Amazing Service at the Spa

    Maria Fernanda y Miguelina gave an amazing message 👏 ❤️. 50 minutes was great but I definitely should have opted for a longer message. So relaxing. We loved it!

    Over priced for a lack a basics

    No hot water, no mobility accommodation despite requests in advance, zero knowledge of safe food handling, "For Everyone" really meant for people with loads of cash readily available

    Birthday surprise

    Had a surprise birthday treat, all went very smooth and nice. The massage was relaxing. Very nice place, for relaxation, andreflection.
