ME Cabo felt more like a club than a resort
I stayed at ME Cabo recently and while the room was beautiful, the staff amazing, and the food delicious, the experience was overshadowed by the constant loud music. From 9am to well past midnight, there was never a quiet moment — with conflicting music blasting from both the pool and Taboo Beach Club. Unfortunately, it made it nearly impossible to relax, which defeated the purpose of the trip.

Amazing All inclusive resort!
Everything about this resort was amazing. Everyone was so friendly. We stayed in The Reserve part and Roberto the bartender was so welcoming and he was one the best bartender’s. He was very down to the earth. If you ever book here stay in The Reserve and let Roberto take care of you. He’s in the lounge. He’s super sweet.

Mid...
Booked 3 weeks in advance. Forced to pay in full when booking. Hotel prices dropped significantly closer to our arrival date. A 3rd family member joined us and there was an additional charge for a third person in our room. I paid for an upgraded room. No free upgrades. FYI its cheaper to "bid " for an upgrade on the app before you arrive. No welcome drink. Long check in process. Hotel was at 50% occupancy. If you want to use the pool its $130 usd per chair. Service was good at the bar in the main pool but Service at poolside was slow. The restaurants were dead, being the weekend we expected a lively atmosphere. The concierge did nothing special for reservations that I could have done myself on resy.

Beautiful resort, Lackluster service
The hotel is gorgeous. You walk through glass doors into the lobby and are greeted with a beautiful view of the beach. At check-in, you’re offered a choice of champagne, tequila, or water upon arrival. Unfortunately, it’s all downhill after that. The robe in my room had a visible stain on it. I had to wait over half an hour for the bartender to take my drink order at the pool bar. Then he made one drink (a vodka soda) and proceeded to come back five minutes later to inform me he forgot what the other two drinks I ordered were. At check-out, I was charged the daily resort fee again (even though I had already paid the resort fee at check-in). If you've stayed recently, I recommend double-checking your bill to ensure you weren't overcharged as well. Luckily, I spotted it in time and the charge was removed. I gave the hotel several chances to correct these issues, but they refused to take responsibility—claiming instead that they were working on improving things for future guests. They say personalized care is the cornerstone of their service. Yet, they didn’t make any effort to resolve the matter for the guest who was directly impacted by these issues. Their lack of concern was evident and highly disappointing. I would reconsider booking with the Melia brand of hotels in the future.

We had an amazing time!
We had such a great time at ME Melia Cabo! The location is perfect—super easy to walk into town and to the marina, which we loved. The food was delicious and the service all around was awesome. Paulina was fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time—she really went above and beyond. We spent a day at the Tamara Beach Club, and Pablo took great care of us there. The fireworks at night were such a fun bonus—totally added to the vibe! Only downside was that the pool music during the day was a little too loud for us, but everything else was great. Would definitely go back!
