    Nice rooms inconsistent services and terrific stink on propert

    The rooms were spacious. They were suites really nice and Well-appointed. Hospitable front desk staff. Nice firm bed. There were some issues with the prevailing stink of the seaweed which made the main restaurant and check in smell terrible. You have to eat outside if property. The stink was that bad. Restaurant food was inconsistent with some dishes not fully cooked or plated. You have to ask for every condiment. Television service has been completely out for the week with apologies. You have to cab it to red hook $11 each way for a decent meal if you don’t cook. Service was slow for carts and towels. At times the staff seemed overwhelmed with guests and wait times were long. Outside areas often had trash on the ground even after pick up and were left un-swept for days. The upper pool was nice and far from the stink. You have to order food and wait for an hour for delivery. The bar and the gift shop and restaurant are managed by outside companies. Sometimes service was good. At other times it was non-existent. The managers were sympathetic and offered us some remediation. It’s only usable in checkout however.

    Texas couple with love

    We really enjoyed our time here. Staff was very good. We ate and drank at the restaurants and bars. The happy hour is BOGO from 4-6 daily. There are two pools with great views at both, especially the one at the top of the hill. If you choose you will get your exercise around the property which we did. The sargassum smell not ideal but we dealt with it. They do their best to clear out as much as possible. Coki beach is walking distance and is beautiful. They have activities all day which we participated in a few when not traveling the island.

    Horrible

    Do not stay here if you plan to stay and play at hotel. Only 1 restaurant and 1 coffee shop. Bottled water is $4.72. You can’t use the beach and the smell is horrible everywhere. Definitely rent a car so you are not stuck. But know - it’s limited parking! Worst place we have ever stayed at.

    NOLA Couple Reports Great Birthday Week Experiences at St. Thomas Margaritaville!!!

    We came to USVI to celebrate my birthday week, we had great experiences! But, the seaweed smell that derives from Margaritaville’s man-made beach has a terrible odor! However, everyone at St. Thomas Margaritaville that we’ve encountered were welcoming, pleasant, friendly, and helpful!! We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back…great atmosphere, amenities, alcohol especially pinacolda drinks 😄, hilltop pool/bar, and entertainment plus activities throughout the week!!!

    Do Not Stay Here

    We went two full days without air conditioning during our stay. We reported the issue right away and were told someone would come to fix it, but no one ever showed up. We asked to speak with the manager, but the manager was unavailable. We were promised a follow-up phone call that never came. In addition, the resort has a very unpleasant odor throughout the property, which made it difficult to enjoy the pool or any of the on-site restaurants.
