Smelliest most unusable beach on the island.

The buildings were nice but the sargassum seaweed smelled so bad. Like truly awful, I was gagging. It is a short walk to Coki beach but there is no easy walkable path from the property to the road to get there. The bar is not a swim up bar and service was mediocre. This was off season so there weren’t a lot of people which was nice but there were enough it didn’t feel deserted. I will not be staying here again. There sales people were really trying to sell their time shares and were a little rude about it and were not good at sales. We were there for hours and they kept trying to sell us, it was never gonna work with how they treated us. But also if I was them, I wouldn’t want to show off that property.

    Terrible and Terrible

The smell was unbearable. The sargassum at the beach was full of trash and piled thick and the water was filthy brown. The stench was so bad you could not even use the main pool, restaurant, or want to open the sliding door. The smell was so rancid it would wake you in your sleep. The shuttles would not offer a ride when walking in the pouring down rain or even show up when calling the front desk. The staff at the coffee shop/store seemed upset when ordering a cup of coffee and manners were non-existent. No one went out of there way to even say “hello”. All of the other beaches, hotels, and outdoor restaurants seem to manage the sargassum and trash without issue. Would never recommend. Do not stay here.

    Closed Beach

We stayed at an Airbnb inside Pineapple Village inside the Margaritaville complex which would have given us access to Margaritaville Beach. When we arrived to our condo we went to have dinner at the restaurant. We wanted to sit outside for the view. We had to ask the waitress to pull down the roll up door to help with the smell. Yes sargassum happens naturally. However Margaritaville seems to have decided to ignore it and close their beach. I do not understand why they have given up on trying to clear the beach. We visited Multiple other beaches with no issues and in fact saw workers cleaning the beaches of the sargassum. The Margaritaville restaurant food was fair. The service was slow. It does have a manned security gate which was nice and the guards were helpful and nice. I would call and ask about the smell and see if the beach is open before I booked.

    Do NOT stay here

A complete horror show. The service is as bad as the stench of the sea weed. The staff is absolutely checked out, the bathroom in the room needs to be completely demolished and rebuilt, as does the room. I asked for a little milk to put in my coffee, the waitress said that will be $4.00.😅. This is after not acknowledging me sitting at a table for 15 minutes. No one cares here. Don’t waste your time or your money.

    Nice resort BUT.............

Hotel room was nice, resort was pretty BUT, only one restaurant for the entire complex, not counting a "coffee shop" that doubles as a store. You must be very physically fit because there is a lot of walking, steep steps, and no shuttle service. Golf carts ignore you unless you jump in front of them for assistance.
