Beautiful location but room for improvement
I recently attended a conference at this hotel. It has an ideal location - walking distance to the cruise port and downtown Nassau and about 20 minutes' drive to the airport. The best thing I enjoyed about this hotel was watching the cruise ships sail into port on mornings from my balcony. All rooms have ocean view balconies, which is a definite plus. I also enjoyed the adults-only hot tub on the 4th floor and the beach. A pleasant surprise was that there was a handheld steamer in the room along with an iron. On the downside, I would have preferred a buffet breakfast as the portion sizes from the Vacation Café's a la carte menu were too large for me, and I wasn't able to get just a banana with my breakfast. Also, the food took long to arrive. Shout-out however to Dee, who was friendly and accommodating and gave excellent service. I was surprised to learn that this hotel only opened in 2021 as it is in need of proper maintenance. The down button cover for the 8th floor elevator was missing for the duration of my stay. One of the lights in my room flickered for about 2 minutes before it came on, every time I switched it on. I reported this to front desk, but it was not rectified during my stay. Maintenance issues aside, I would consider returning to this hotel.

Margaritaville is always has a fun atmosphere
Margaritaville is always has a fun atmosphere. It's easy to find and has a small retail store. Food is typical bar, Caribbean fare. It has a view of the waterway between Nassau and New Providence along with views of the bridges connecting the 2 islands.

Margaritaville stay 12/5-12/9
My husband and I stayed at the Margaritaville Resort on 12/5-12/9. Positive of this resort: Let’s start off with the resort is very clean and nice, the view from the room is beautiful as you can watch the cruise ships come in through the cruise port. Mark at the front check in counter was wonderful through the check in process and throughout our entire stay. We were staying for my husbands birthday and made us feel special by upgrading our room to the One Particular Harbor side of the resort which is so beautiful, clean, and has a private beach and less crowded side of the resort. Be Aware: This was a very quiet resort so not much around for dining out options and definitely missing a night life (no casino here). Their sister resort next door British Colonial actually has nicer dining options than Margaritaville but you will have much more night life atmosphere/better ambiance at BahaMar. Food was good overall and prices not as horrible as BahaMar. We didn’t get a chance to try the steakhouse because they took my reservation for a Sunday and then decided to abruptly close for the night which Left us disappointed as we were leaving next day and was hoping to dine at the steakhouse. Negative part of this resort: Do not try calling for help from your room from either guest services or housekeeping. There seems to not be a human around to help with whatever problems you are experiencing. All we wanted was pillows and water but that never happened even after I got thru to someone on the phone. Whomever answers the phone has no interest in helping you. You will have better luck going downstairs and speak with concierge desk or check in counter. We then had the same issue with wanting our AC to be checked as the room was warm.. I called the night we noticed a temp change and someone answered, heard our problems and nothing happened. The next morning, I called to follow up and again person took info and nothing happened. I continued my day and ran into the concierge desk person and it wasn’t until then (24 hours later) that someone came up to solve the problem.. No sense of urgency to help the guests as this resort (with exception to Mark and Tristan). Those 2 guys left a positive impression but not so much the others.

Foodies Unite
Ian Williams made our visit to the Margaritavilke vacation club an amazing experience. I ordered the chicken in da bag and my wife had the blackened salmon. Great flavor. Piping hot and delivered to our table with smiles and relatively quickly. Great experience all 'round.

Good !
Ian was great at the Vacation club restaurant in the Margaritaville Hotel! Not too busy but food was good……….had the salmon and chicken in da bag. Plus drinks…. Still don’t get the mandatory 15% tip and then they ask for more tip! Plus a 10% tax… but that’s not Ian’s fault.
