Honest Manchebo Review
This was our annual girls trip and I have to say Aruba was awesome! We truly did enjoy our stay at Manchebo, it was super clean, and very beautiful. Our biggest complaint is that now that Aruba has made ALL Aruban beaches public anybody from locals to other tourists can come and use what we thought was our private beach including the palapa’s. The locals come and congregate in large groups and put up their tents….. blocking the view of the beautiful water that people who are staying here pay for (a lot may I mention). They also smoke so that was all we smelled, and have their small kids running all around. Security is there but does nothing to help secure the palapa’s for the guests of Manchebo. Security on the beach was also not the friendliest. I will include pictures from the beach. Also big tip for breakfast. Don’t waste your time at Ike’s, the morning staff (waitresses) are rude and completely unfriendly unless you are Spanish speaking. Save your money and go to Santos’s. It is AMAZING! The coffee is unbelievable and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. After the first two miserable breakfasts we found Santos’s and we went there everyday after that. Everyone else at the resort was super friendly,

Would Not Stay Anywhere Else in Aruba
My wife and I just completed a 4-night stay at Manchebo and it was excellent. The resort is right on the widest part of the beach; I think technically it is called Manchebo Beach but really it is part of Eagle Beach. We had a Garden View Room which is relatively less expensive than an Ocean View Room. We actually liked the Garden View Room because it is private. You have a patio (we were on the 1st floor) and look out at vegetation/flowers etc. An Ocean Front Room does look out at the ocean in the distance (the resort is set well back from the ocean) but there is no privacy. People are walking by your room all day; obviously personal choice. On the beach the resort has nicely spaced Palapas (thatched shelters). Note: you need to get there early (go over to the towel station) if you want to have your choice of Palapas as they do fill up. An attendant will set you up with towels. The beach is legally public though the resort does try to control its Palapas. You will see looking down the beach other resorts do have Palapas but they are tightly grouped; Manchebo's are better. Also, they leave a red flag with you; if you raise it an attendant will come over and take your order from Pega Pega (Manchebo's beach bar and grill). As for restaurants, we only ate at Ike's Bistro, which is open air to the pool. This is where they serve breakfast. Food was very good (I liked the asparagus and goat cheese omelet) and the service was friendly and excellent. Note: You can sign up at check in for a breakfast meal plan at $28pp; not worth it. We signed up and had to work each morning to spend the money. We also had one dinner at Ike's. I would say the food was ok (I had Red Snapper) but there are so many good restaurants nearby. Finally, overall the service and staff are incredibly friendly. From a welcoming Mojito to check out the staff is great. Also, we did do a message at the spa which is right on the beach. We had a Relaxing Couples Message (50 minutes $200) which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Beautiful resort and spa on the beach
My friend and I stayed at Manchebo Beach Resort and Spa in Aruba for 5 nights in January 2026 to celebrate both our birthdays. It was a beautiful tropical feel. This place has the best guest service. It all started with great service from Shilpa Kadam who helped us well before we got there with detailing our reservation and birthday celebration set up, Ms. Milanyela Perez, Guest Relations Supervisor who looked into a restaurant for us and booked our car rental, and Vivian Frank with hotel reservation which made everything perfect when we got there. Camila J. and Shadel help with spa reservations, which made our spa day the most beautiful and relaxing day ever. And the masseuse were awesome. Mancebo gave us a bottle of sparkling wine in our room to help us celebrate. That was really nice. The resort was in a beautiful location, the beach there was beautiful and not crowded, so relaxing. The resort was very nice and clean. The room was clean and the style was nice. We stayed on the second floor in room 28 and had a nice view of the beach, pool, and bar. We did a spa day where we had a facial, mud and body wrap, and a body massage. It was wonderful. When you’re done, you can relax in the spa while still being on the beach. The staff at the spa were very nice and very skilled at their work. Very pleasant customer service. We wanted to book another day, but they were booked for the remaining days we were there. So book early. We had drinks at Ike‘s bar where we met Liz. She’s a great bartender. She recognized it was our birthday and made special drinks. Wow, they were delicious and you can feel them too! She kept us laughing all night. It was a great night. We had breakfast by the pool every morning. We ate at The Chophouse and Pega Pega beach bar and Grill at the resort. At the chophouse, I had a delicious ribeye steak cooked the way I like it, medium and garlic mashed potatoes, which were smooth and creamy. We both receive a free glass of wine with dinner. At Pega Pega I had fish tacos with mango salsa, very very delicious. The staff at both locations were very nice at the chophouse. It was a little warm by our table and our waiter checked the thermostat and changed it so we would feel comfortably cool. I appreciated him going out his way to do that. From the smile at the entrance from the day we came to the day we left all of the staff, very nice, pleasant and helpful in any way they could. Gelson greeted with smiles and recommended places to eat. O’Neill took our bags to the room and gave us a helpful detailed rundown of the resort and Aruba. Honorable mentions: Nyishell front Desk Clerk full of information, Cleaning ladies for room 28 during 1/21 - 1/25/2026 did an awesome job, Cynthia, Delseta and Aracelys at Ike’s made dining special. Excellent security James for helping us out at the hammocks. Care takers helped in many ways even stopping to help us take a picture. The guy who service the beach was always on point with towel and any service we needed. Staff put the special in special touch. The Manchebo Team Awesome. Manchebo was a great pick but the staff makes this place a gem 💎. Jeanette and Derease ❤️

STILL EXTRAORDINARY !!!
Manchebo is an amazing resort!! It is set on a deep quiet beach, where most hotels in Aruba have beaches that are nowhere near as deep and guests are packed like sardines with their umbrellas. They are literally on top of each other! However; it is the staff and service at Manchebo that make this resort extraordinary and one of a kind. Just left from my 5th visit, and already looking forward to my next. Thank you!!

Wonderful Place!
This was our 16 year at Manchebo. The hotel grounds and beach are beautifully maintained. The staff is so helpful and friendly. It's like returning to family each year. The food is delicious and service great. We can't say enough wonderful things about this little spot of heaven on Earth. Of course, we will be returning next year. We always book our future trip before we leave.
