Aug 22, 2025Paradise in Aruba!
Our first time to Aruba and I couldn't imagine anything better! The beach alone is absolute paradise! The sun sets perfectly over the beach and the view is stunning. Besides that, the staff are wonderful, friendly and attentive. The food is fresh and there's plenty of variety with the menu. I can't wait to go back... can't say enough good things about the resort!

Aug 21, 2025All inclusive that was not inclusive
Let me start with the positives: Great things: We truly appreciated the warm hospitality from everyone—the lobby staff, bars, restaurants, housekeeping, beach crew, and security team. We felt at home and safe throughout our stay. Areas of concern: Unfortunately, there were several issues that did not meet our expectations for an “all-inclusive, adults-only resort.” There were kids and babies on the property, which was surprising and not aligned with what was advertised. The fridge was empty and there were no snacks provided—something we’ve never experienced in over 15 years of staying at all-inclusive resorts. Beachfront privacy was compromised as outsiders frequently used the resort’s palapas, leading to unnecessary traffic, loud conversations, and smoking near guests. Room service: When I called “0” for a bottle of water, I was told to take the empty bottle from the room and fill it at the lobby water fountain. Honestly, this was unbelievable for a resort of this category. In the restaurants, orders were often incomplete, even though servers had handheld devices (which were rarely used, except by one or two waiters). Finally, we loved the country, its people, and culture, and we definitely plan to return—but sadly, we will not be staying at Manchebo again.

Don’t hesitate, just book it!
If you are hesitant to visit this resort, don’t be. I typically don’t write reviews but I felt I had to for this resort. We had such an amazing trip for our honeymoon that we will be back for sure! The staff is unbelievably friendly (the bartenders-Liz and Diana- gave us a hug before we left) and the food is the best food we have ever had at a resort before! Liz at Ike’s give great recommendations for things to do on the island. The resort was quiet, not crowded, we always had a palapa to sit by the ocean AND they supply sunscreen (and it works really well). I mean….what resort supplies sunscreen! They really have thought of everything to make your stay amazing! The location is great! There is a little mall with restaurants, shops and a casino within a 5 minute walk. The island is very safe. Not one time during our stay did I feel unsafe. You must visit this resort, just book it, you won’t regret it!

Second time and still awesome
Our second week-long visit to Manchebo Resort and it’s as wonderful as our original visit in 2022. The staff remembers you, the food is still excellent (but not exceptional) and the facilities are well maintained. Our room is great and the rain shower/handheld fixture worked well. Water pressure is on the low side but it’s walk in, no curb separating the shower. Lots of light albeit with lots of switches so take your time to learn them. The balcony is small but perfect for sitting and having a drink. The cleaning staff are very friendly as are the bellmen and the front counter staff. Brandon was a hoot! O’Neill is always around to help, and Alejandra in food services never seems to be anything but happy! The pool is always clean and refreshing with a fair amount of chairs and umbrellas for use, the beach is spectacular although it is public (all of Aruba’s beaches are public) but Manchebo has palapas installed for guest use. The crowd is mixed with lots of European and Americans. We have loved every visit to the island and every stay at Manchebo. We have met other couples who have been coming to the island yearly, staying exclusively at Manchebo. It’s a great crowd to be a part of.
