Oct 28, 2025Manchebo turned my Bad Aruba experience around!!!!We booked our weekend at another resort, The Renaissance Wind Creek, and it was an absolute disaster!!!! We left paid nights and moved to Manchebo. What an awesome experience! The hotel is small, right on the most beautiful white sandy turquois water beach on the whole island. The staff is amazing, accommodating, attentive and go above and beyond to ensure a great experience. We ate at the Chop House and the food was delicious. Our stay was relaxed, comfortable and all we had wished for and more. You walk out of your room and in 10 steps are on the beach. The service directly on the beach is so convenient! We loved Manchebo and will definitely be back!

Oct 28, 2025Excellent choice for couples on Eagle beachThe reviews of the hotel were good and after the stay we liked it even more. We booked two hotels in the same area, but this hotel was litteraly located at the beach. We also enjoyed it because of the surroundings such as no noise of a street with cars or crowded areas. Also the employees of the staff were very nice and helpfull with things to do at the island. We didn't use the accomodations at the hotel, because we wanted to see the island and relax on the white soft beach at Manchebo. We noticed that the soft sand wasn't everywhere on Eagle beach or on the island.

Oct 27, 2025Worth It!The awards the resort has received this year does not go unnoticed once stepping out of the transfer vehicle from the airport. The staff, location.. EVERYTHING speaks for itself. My husband and I stayed a week for my 40th birthday in room 14 and did the All Inclusive option (WELL worth the added cost!). Awesome room, great view. Housekeeping was top notch. This smaller resort is just perfect for relaxation, not feeling stressed about dinner reservations and getting from 1 point of the resort to another, this is where to go! We usually go out and explore islands when we travel, go into town to shop but we had zero desire while at Manchebo, its just that good. There is a small shopping center across the street that has all the stores you would want, along with a casino! In town.. it's a bunch of high end stores, Louie, Cartier, Tiffany's.. things I'm not buying haha. Our favorite part? The grounds at night. The landscaping and lighting design is just absolutely gorgeous. If you like the photos you see on the website during the day, what you see at night takes it one step further! What surprised me? The size of the pool! The website photo makes it seem a bit small, but it was far from.

Oct 26, 2025Beware of Other Ratings…not all 4 Stars are the sameLet’s start w positives - staff and service was decent. Bed and sheets were great. The beach itself was beautiful. Then again, it was nature - nothing the hotel did to create the beach. Negatives - where to begin… It’s a motel that was barely renovated. Rooms are dark and bathrooms dingy. No water pressure in the shower at all. Blowdryer was weak. Balcony overlooked neighbors and was basically good to dry bathing suits but would not ever sit out there. There were tiny gnats everywhere inside and outside the room. They have security on the bottom level because the beach is a public beach and you could be sitting right next to locals. The room furniture was dated and banged up. Charger on nightstand was broken. Nothing about the room is close to being high end or four stars. Nothing special - you get a fridge and a safe. That said, if you want an adequate shower, go to the lounge. We showered there daily. And at least the lighting was better in there. Fitness center was a dark small room that has limited equipment and would not suffice anyone who wanted to break a sweat. Pilates class was horrible - instructor does same exactly class every day and it’s unsafe. She did exercises that a trained Pilates instructor would know would be unsafe. Not enough variety in the classes offered and not enough classes offered each day to make it feel like a wellness hotel. Outdoor lounge chairs and seating was worn out and need replacing. They do not even offer beach floats. The noodles were skinny and looked like kids chew bites out of them. They could have better options for the guests to enjoy. We got “lucky” to find the two noodles that a guest had purchased and left at the hotel that were thicker and able to be used for adults. They gave us treats as a thank you - bags of peanuts and two horrible “freshly baked” cookies to get us to write a good review. Sorry, but we cannot be bought. This hotel is not worth it.

Oct 26, 2025Exceptional beach getaway!!!Exceptional from top to bottom! Staff were amazing, property is beautiful and beach experience was private, despite a popular beach. Thank you for life long memories.
