Perfect vacation
We spent 5 nights at Manchebo Beach Resort. It was a welcome reprieve after leaving the freezing and snowy Northeast. This was our 4 th trip to Aruba and Manchebo was our favorite place to stay. The grounds are immaculate, the beach is gorgeous, and the room was clean and inviting. We had a downstairs room with a patio, which was steps from the pool and beach. Every single staff member was welcoming and friendly, always looking to make our stay as stress free as possible. We appreciated that the palapas on the beach were always available without fighting others for a spot or incurring an extra charge, as we had to do at the Hyatt, where we stayed previously. The vibe at this resort is very chill, so it may not be what partiers or families are looking for, but for us, it was perfect. We ate at the Chophouse and Ike’s and Pega Pega beach bar and all were very good. Upon leaving for the airport, they sent us on our way with a bag of snacks, which was so thoughtful. The only slight negative is that the water was a little rougher than the beaches at Palm Beach, and as a result we only went into the ocean one day. Overall, this was a perfect place to stay and we enjoyed every minute at this special resort.

Nine years and still the best resort on the island
We have been coming to Manchebo for nine years and it’s still the best! It starts getting out of the taxi and being greeted by Andrew, the King of the lobby. The rooms are very nice and Joan takes special care to clean them each day. Only 72 rooms makes it easy to find a Palapa each day. William and his Beach crew are the hardest working people from 4AM to 5 PM. They always have towels and chair covers. A growing concern is the number of non guests taking over the beach and palapas. It’s apparent the issue is getting worse. While management is aware, it doesn’t appear a solution is in sight. The breakfast and lunch crew at Ike’s Bistro, and the Pega Pega are always there to greet you with a smile and hug each day. They know your name and ask you how you’re doing. Anna Maria, Makayla Jean ,Rachel,Aracelys, Alejandra,Magdalena, Diana, Yalinda and of course, Delseta. Pega Pega has a great lunch menu at the beach. Ike’s is very good. They need to change things up and get some fresh ideas. Bring back Locals night. Esp the Aruban Stew. Stephanie is best server. She always has a great smile and a laugh. Manchebo never disappoints. Great value for the enjoyment. We look forward to next year

Can’t Wait To Return
Manchebo was exactly what we like in a resort. Quiet, low key, great service and food. Our room was clean and roomy, a nice hotel room. The grounds and beach are beautiful! We opted for the all-inclusive package. It was perfect for us. Can’t wait to go back!

Fun in Aruba
We traveled from Florida to find some warm weather in February. We found the weather we wanted in Aruba and Manchebo Beach Resort exceeded our expectations. Every single staff member was very friendly and went above and beyond to proactively offer service and provide a smile. WE highly recommend this property and will go back when we travel to Aruba in the future.

High Standards set and met
Cynthia said I should try for a part-time job at Manchebo. I told her I'm not nice enough to work there. It is hard to believe that everyone working there seems to us nice and authentic at the same time. Authentic people cannot fake being nice. Take Doreen, for example. She was our server in Ike's Bistro and she took quips from me and out-quipped me, all three of us laughing so hard we had to hold it in lest we disturb other diners. Real people are the nicest people because as the poet said, "Beauty is Truth, Truth Beauty." Manchebo is a beautiful place because beautifully real people work there.
