Amazing spa experience with Avila and Mathy and Ricardo

My husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and had a fantastic time! We decided to further relax with a couples massage at the Majestic Resort spa and Avila and Mathy were amazing! They were professional and made us so comfortable and we Highly recommend them both.

    Awesome getaway!!

I was a little worried after day 2 of an absent butler, however after a quick change, Boliver was able to turn my trip around. He was attentive and on point. Personally decorated our room for my BFF birthday. I enjoyed my visit to Punta Cana and I will be back!!

    Relaxing Getaway

During our vacation, my family and I had a wonderful time. It was a pleasure to have Bolivar as our butler during our stay. He was available at all times to meet our needs. He deserves a 10 out of 10 rating! He was amazing, awesome, patient and cooperative!

    Great DR experience!

We had a fanatic vacation to DR and stayed at the Majestic and Bolivar our butler greeted us right away. Our bags were taken care of, beverages stocked each day, and the flow of all the activities were great not to mention the food considering all inclusive was top notch. The beach was walkable and the teens were I heaven not having to think about what to do! Beach volleyball for our family was our favorite along with parasailing and just the convenience in this location with access to the pool, beach, and restaurants. A total winner, if you book ask Bolivar as your butler, you won’t be disappointed!!

    Birthday Disaster

Upon my arrival at the resort, I was disappointed to find that the room I had booked with double beds for me and my daughter only had one bed. Additionally, our butler, Bolivar, displayed a negative attitude and failed to effectively communicate important information about the resort, such as the existence of the CoCO club and the available shopping options. Furthermore, he did not ensure that my birthday accommodations met my expectations, and his behavior made me reconsider leaving a generous tip. To add to the frustration, we experienced a power outage in our room, and the wait for maintenance to address the issue was inconvenient, to say the least. Unfortunately, my dissatisfaction extended beyond these initial impressions. I observed a general lack of maintenance and upkeep at the resort, leading me to doubt the value of the experience. The pools were smaller than I had anticipated, and the swim-up bar did not meet my standards for service. Due to these disappointments, I can confidently say that I will not be choosing to stay at this location again. Instead, I would recommend the Melia in Punta Cana for those seeking a great time with spacious pools and excellent concierge service. Lastly, I would advise prospective visitors to exercise caution during their stay at the resort - the absence of lifeguards and security posed safety concerns for me and my daughter. Additionally, I learned the hard way that many of the plants at the resort are poisonous, which resulted in us falling ill. Furthermore, if you have allergies to gardenias, you might want to reconsider your visit, as they are abundant on the premises. I was fortunate to have brought my asthma medication with me. Please note the following: the pool closes at 6 pm and reopens at 8 am. I reported a power outage in our room on the 4th floor, but the butler seemed unaware of my message. He argued that they couldn't sing "Happy Birthday" to me because I hadn't purchased a cake for $30. Despite my attempts to explain the situation, he continued to argue and then closed my door. I called Delta Vacations to seek assistance, but the agent was hung up on as well and had to call the Majestic several times. The best food I had was the grilled grouper and some fruits, although some of the fruits were bad. The coffee spot by the theater is the highlight here. Let's address the serious issues: the smell of marijuana in the elevators and outside, and the electrical plugs that kept falling out, causing a power outage for hours late at night. I had to leave my door open for two hours due to this. I will be uploading videos soon. God Bless and Be safe!!
