  A dream week at Majestic

  It was an amazing week at Majestic Elegance. Pao is a good entertainer with so much energy and kindness. We ate at Japanese restaurant and Bogart our waiter and Alvaron our cook were fun and good entertainers too. Aaron our butler and Graziela our maid took very good care of our room and ourselves!

  Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres in Isla Mujeres is the icing on the cake! We loved the staff, the features… everything! Andres is the most amenable and capable Butler! Our Housekeeping lady (room 2106) was friendly and professional!

  Without any hesitation, the best resort in Mexico!

  My wife and I had the pleasure of vacationing for the 7th time at the Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres from September 13 to September 27, 2025. These are some thoughts on our time spent at this beautiful resort. Arrival Driving through the gates from the main road allows you to breathe a sigh of relief because you then don’t have to worry about anything during your stay. As you exit your transportation, the staff assist you out of your vehicle and then greet you with a hot facecloth and insist that they take care of your bags until you reach you room. The lobby is an architectural marvel! We always upgrade to the Elegance Club and a staff member escorts you to their special check-in area where you are greeted with a beverage and escorted to a nearby lounge area where you are invited to snack on a host of sandwiches and snacks and high-end alcoholic “treats” while the staff prepare your paperwork. Once you have been adorned with your hotel bracelet (which is your room key), you are introduced to the butler who will be attending to your needs during your stay (more on that later). The butler is initially tasked with giving you a tour of the resort’s facilities, hours of operations and other useful information as you are guided to your room. Once there, you are given a guided tour of your room and provided with a thorough explanation as to how everything works. And within minutes, your bags arrive from the lobby area. Our room The room is very large considering how many rooms this resort has. The oversized king size bed is a real treat. There is a large balcony with a jet tub and outside bed area (which the maid will make up for you if you ask). The room has a well stocked mini bar. A bottle of sparkling wine, tequila and rum greet you on your arrival. There is a large and deep inside tub, shower and double sinks. There is zone lighting for when one person wants to sleep and the other doesn’t. 😊 Really well done. The outside areas The amount of time spent by the hotel in terms of cleaning and maintaining the common areas is staggering. Gardens are pristine. Areas used for weddings and parties always well maintained. Areas used for nightly entertainment and special occasions are vast and well thought out. There are beach chairs, Bali beds, tables and chairs everywhere. You will never have to go out and reserve a chair at any time during your stay. Pools are kept clean. Beach area is vast and seaweed is cleaned up a few times a day. Beach and pool service from the bar is frequent and efficient. Food and beverage Lots of restaurants and bar areas to cater to all kinds of tastes. We spent most of our time on the beach so when we wanted to get our lazy butts out of our chairs and not rely on beach service, we went to the beach bar and we were served and on our way in minutes. Always friendly service. The ground floor lobby bar area is another architectural marvel. And the staff are amazing. We tended to order the same beverages and the bartenders would start preparing our order as they saw one of us walking towards the bar. Top shelf beverages are available in all categories! We used the upstairs lobby/piano bar for our morning coffee and baked treats. Great selection of coffees available and dispensed by the staff in minutes. In terms of restaurants, the Elegance Club upgrade provides you with benefits that are not available to all guests. We won’t go through them all as they have been well detailed by other reviewers. Suffice it to say that we were always thrilled with the quality, taste and presentation of all of the food. We had breakfast almost every day in the Italian restaurant as we enjoyed the food and very attentive service. By the third day, we were greeted by name by the restaurant’s hostess! The Elegance Club buildings each have their own indoor "club” area as you head towards the pool and beach. Great place to get out of the heat, enjoy great food, coffee, cold beverages and high end alcohols. We visited there at least three times a day. Our butler A great resort is a combination of accommodation, food and entertainment. As well, we have found over the years that what makes a stay at a resort the most enjoyable is the people that are there to make sure that you have everything that you need during your stay and that you leave the resort having been given the best experience possible. We can say that that’s where our butler Katia stood out from the rest of the exceptional staff members. She is a wonderful hard-working young woman who really cares about her clients. From the moment that we met Katia to the time that we left the resort, we felt like we were the only people that she had to tend to (which of course is not true). Katia checked in with us every day by WhatsApp, had at least one face-to-face connection with us per day, inspected our room to ensure that everything was up to her standards while we were lounging at the beach, sprayed our room with aromatherapy scents at the end of the day, helped us arrange reservations for dinners and the spa, ordered teas to be delivered to our room when one of us was feeling “off”, and many more things that would take a while to type on this review. Katia is fluently bilingual and seems to know all of the staff at the resort (which is great when you might need something special done during your day). She would see us walking through the resort and would go out of her way to come up to us and say “hi” and ensure that if we needed something, she would take care of it for us. Katia always had a smile on her face and that made us feel very welcome. Thank you Katia for being our butler during our stay. Hopefully when we return sometime in the next 12 months, we will be able to have you as our butler again! Conclusion We have travelled as a couple over the last 30 years to Caribbean and Mexican all-inclusive destinations (including to the three “sister” hotels in the Dominican). Hands-down, the Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres is our top pick. If you are on the fence, don’t be. You won’t regret your choice and we are certain that your review of the resort will be as glowing as ours.

  A resort worth your while!

  Me and my family had a blast at this resort! The service was top notch and the staff was very accommodating. Fernando in Flavors was very kind and always attentive. Jaimie and Pao on the entertainment team were a lot fun! Our butler Rafael handled everything that we needed with urgency and care. I’d absolutely return and highly recommend.
