  Bad Experience/Hospital Visit

  While playing with my 5-year-old nephew on the children's sand soccer field, I hit a hidden object (pictured) buried in the middle of the field. The injury was severe enough to require a hospital visit, 12 stitches in my knee, and the ER/hospital bill all out of pocket. Thankfully, it was me and not my nephew who was injured, but the incident completely derailed the next five days of my vacation requiring me to driven around in a wheel chair and unable to enjoy the pool or beach. What was most disappointing, however, was the hotel’s response. When I brought the matter to their attention and asked for a meaningful gesture to help make things right, perhaps a partial refund or reasonable compensation, they offered a sign on the door, a bottle of alcohol, and a possible room upgrade, along with a few other minor items, if I come back. None of this felt appropriate given what happened, especially considering it occurred in an area meant for children. That said, I do want to acknowledge the positive experience we had with several staff members. The entertainment team was commendable, especially The Cowboy (I apologize, your name escaped me) and Eduardo, both of whom were gracious and energetic hosts who made our group feel genuinely welcomed. They are not the only people that were great on the entertainment team, however, I am sorry to not remember their names. I also want to sincerely thank Alexander, our room host, who was incredibly helpful, attentive, and kind throughout our stay. While the injury and the hotel’s handling of it were major disappointments, the members of the staff did their best to create a positive environment.

  Incredible days!

  We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The food was amazing, and above all, the entertainment staff was excellent during the day with various activities. Thanks to Dominick and Eduardo for making their invitation to the evening party so much fun.

  3rd times a charm

  Very relaxing.Everything was perfect . Dominick, Eduardo, Tino were very helpful. This is our 3rd time here. Coming back soon. ☀️☀️☀️🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴😎😎😎😎😎😎😎. Can’t wait for our next Visit and we just got here yesterday 😂. Ok brb about to get another margarita!!

  Not for the high-end luxury traveler. Well appointed for families and those with lower expectations.

  Just got back from a week-long stay at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres, and let me tell you, it was quite the experience! I was asked to review this establishment, which is nestled about 30 to 40 minutes from Cancun. This resort is a hidden gem, especially for families and budget-conscious travelers. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a refreshing cocktail and a seamless check-in process, which set a positive tone for the trip. I opted for a swim-up suite at the Elegance Club, and it was definitely worth the splurge. The room was beautifully designed and provided a luxurious touch to our stay. However, I did encounter some hiccups with the Butler service. My Butler, Renee, unfortunately, fell short of expectations, struggling to assist with cabana reservations and dinner bookings. I've had stellar Butler experiences at other resorts, so this was a bit of a letdown. I even had to share screenshots to clarify communication issues, which was a first for me. On the culinary front, the food was decent but not extraordinary, and I found room service lacking. One peculiar aspect was the swim-up bars; they didn’t open until 11 AM and closed early, which felt limiting. Plus, the cappuccinos were only available after 8 AM, which was a bit of a bummer for early risers. That being said, I must give a shoutout to the entertainment team, especially Jamie, who made sure everyone was having a blast. The nighttime entertainment was great and the foam party was our favorite! I would also like to mention some outstanding pool waitstaff—Carlos, Manuel, Cauich, and Alonso— they were exceptional and consistently provided friendly service with genuine smiles. We were celebrating my daughter’s birthday, and they insured that she had a great time. They are the heart of this establishment and need to be recognized. I would also like to thank Aletia from concierge services for ensuring a seamless check-in upon our arrival. While I may not return to this particular resort, I truly appreciate the hard work of the staff who made our stay memorable. Overall, it was a unique experience, and I’m grateful for the moments shared there!

  Amazing experience... do not miss this resort for all-inclusives

  This resort is TOP NOTCH. Amazing service, in all aspects. Cleanliness is fabulous. The rooms are beautiful with stocked refrigerators in each room that is included in your all inclusive price. Jacuzzi tub and outdoor day bed on the balcony. Butler service was incredible. Our butler Aaron was fantastic, looking after all our needs. App for the resort puts you in touch with your butler immediately. Food was incredible from the buffet to the specialty restaurants was top notch. I would go back in a moments notice!
