Very, very low-key vibe, which is what we were looking for… If you’re looking for excitement, probably not the place. Super service, Butler service amazing, long, winding pools… Beautiful beach, no complaints.

Exceeded my expectations
Stayed January 21st to the 28th to celebrate our 30th anniversary We are in the 50-56 age category So older but still young at heart. My expectations were realistic based on many reviews I had read. So I knew going in it would be beautiful but not necessarily a 5 star. To be honest this resort exceeded my expectations. Yes the rooms are dated and by this I mean not modern. But, they were spotless, great bed and pillows and everything was in working order. We did have an issue with our first room and when we went to guest services it was quickly addressed and we were moved within an hour. The issue was more on a personal preference compared to a maintenance or other reason. We found the customer service here to be excellent. This resort really cares about the guest experience and go above and beyond to ensure your happiness. I can see why they have many repeat guests. The food was good to great but I feel more than a 7 day stay you may get bored of your options. Steak and Seafood amazing. Japanese was excellent too but it is a bit rushed so if you are used to eating slowly this may not be your jam. We did do the Mexican as well but it was my least favorite as it is located right next to the lobby washroom and honestly that washroom stinks. Therefore the restaurant did too. We did not try French as we checked the menu first and were not feeling it Buffets are good, lots of choices always full of bacon in the morning and tons of shrimp in evening The beach buffet was also great as was the daily bbq on the beach Forgot to mention the crepe stations which for me was an added bonus with amazingly friendly ladies making you fresh crepes. Bar service is excellent as are all the chair services, you never have to get up if you don’t want too. Customer service again a 10 out of 10 . Best customer service experience I have ever received in an all inclusive. Entertainment in the evenings was good not fantastic but enjoyable Bingo Bongo with Honey and another young lady always a good laugh and time Daily activités are just ok but not great a lot of dance lessons, water aerobics etc but not a ton of games The manager in guest services is awesome one of the most professional, friendly and willing to please her guests I have ever met I wish I could remember her name and to be honest all of guest services rocked. Beach is AMAZING it is clean and soft sand and you can walk for days I swear it is the longest beach I have ever seen Pool is cool as it is like 400ft long, has jacuzzis, bars, landscaping and is an overall great time The landscaping and outdoor decor is absolutely beautiful So much well thought out choices have gone into this design. Tons of beach chairs to choose from, tons of bars and seating areas to enjoy. I am not one to return to a resort as my goal is to visit a ton however I would return here in a heartbeat Thank you Majestic Colonial for a fantastic 30 year anniversary trip.

Amazing🙏
Everything was excellent. The service and the staff were amazing. The bartenders and the waiters at the restaurants were amazing also.. It was a little outdated, but I know that they’re going to remodel in April. It sounds like.. we would love to come back if the price is right to see what this place would look like updated thank you to everybody. Staff and the Butler Danny was awesome room 4134 the Hudson’s thank you all.!

Awesome resort!
It was the best resort I’ve stayed at and would definitely come back! I will be next yr! The dolphin experience was amazing! I highly recommend it! They have excursions to go ! I’m going to do it again next yr!❤️

Worthy of a return trip!!
We visited majestic colonial from Jan 6 to the 13th.From our arrival when we were greeted by our butler/ guide Edith we were treated exceptionally well .Private check in tour of resort all smooth.My wife’s delayed luggage caused some concerns,however Edith stepped in to help and luggage was delivered the next day.Despitenews it is closing for a refit in April we found all amenities in good condition.Food quality,service etc at all restaurants was excellent.Beachfront mini bar manned by Rainey excellent ,drinks delivered to your lounger promptly whether you tipped or not (we did) Always kept my drink topped up when he came by.We have travelled to most carribean locations and found this one was the best . Shout out to Edith and Rainey but also all staff .All friendly and polite,A great spot ,well run at tip of the hat to the general manager.Will definitely return next season!
