  Wonderful experience

  We had an excellent time. Loved the fact that we inly had to have a reservation for two of the restaurants. The food was excellent as well. Entertainment was on a par with other resorts we went to. We paid a bit extra to be VIP in the adults only section with a butler to take care of our needs and any issues that arose. Alberto was an amazing butler. We would definitely come back to this resort.

  A failure in hospitality …

  Very disappointed with how your team have dealt with a room allocation issue regarding two employees of my company who I sent to your hotel for a well deserved break, every opportunity was afforded to you to remedy the issue and it has been poorly managed despite my best efforts to engage with you, very disappointing - not the level of hospitality one would expect from such a hotel

  Amazing service, food, and amazing staff

  Everything was amazing. Our end time there and we love it. Danny our butler was awesome. He was there anytime we needed him even though we didn't ask for much. Sent daily activities. Awesome 👌 job

  Friends kept from checking out due to Resorts mistake

  We had a lovely time until the last day. This is a beautiful resort and the people there were so nice until check-out. Unfortunately, when we were checking out, they tried to charge our friends $150 U.S. for two bottles of wine that they didn't order or get. Another couple bought the bottles at a Superbowl party the first night we were there and it was charged it to our friends' room. The resort had a picture of the couple who were around our age and white, but it should have been obvious that they were different people. They also had a signature by that guest who had a different name. We were a little worried that our friends wouldn't get checked out in time for us to catch our ride back to the airport - the resort employees refused to check them out for over 40 minutes (the most hateful employees were Estanilao Nieves and Juan Alexander Hernandez). Finally, they brought the Manager down who apologized to our friends and let them get checked out. Until the last day, I was kind of in love with the place even though our air conditioning wasn't working correctly and there was a cockroach in the Japanese restaurant and the swimming pool was very cold. I was planning on going back someday but I'm still so angry that we were held hostage so long for their mistake. Also, if they offer you a "full ocean view" on the third floor of building 2, you might ask to see if first. You can see the ocean at a distance sitting down but not the beach area unless you stand up.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Majestic Colonial Punta Cana – Colonial Club Ocean View Room

  Another unforgettable stay — our 6th visit and it keeps getting better From the moment we arrived, Majestic Colonial Punta Cana once again delivered the kind of vacation that keeps us coming back. The Colonial Club Ocean View Room is truly a slice of paradise. The view alone is breathtaking — the calming sound of the waves, pelicans diving for fish, and the joy of watching beautiful weddings unfold right from our balcony. Some of our favorite moments were simply sitting outside, listening to the ocean, and playing cards together. Room & Service Our room was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The bed made it easy to drift off after long days in the sun. A huge shoutout to our housekeeper, Clara, who was absolutely incredible. The nightly turn-down service with aromatherapy became a highlight of every evening — such a thoughtful touch that made the room feel like a spa retreat. The “fridge guy” deserves his own praise too. He kept us perfectly stocked with Coke Zero, bottled water, and Presidente Light, which honestly felt like the icing on the cake. Colonial Club Perks The Colonial Club lounge is a gem. The coffee machine alone is worth talking about — it catered to every taste in our group. And whenever we needed a quick snack, the staff was right there keeping everything fresh and plentiful. Dining The food across the resort continues to impress: • La Hispaniola & Supreme Buffet – Always a wide variety for every dietary need. The paella and crepe station were our favorites. • Ma+Suri – Phenomenal! The chef put on an amazing show that made dinner feel like an event. • Le Gourmet – Whether breakfast or dinner, the food is consistently fantastic with so many incredible choices. • Tres Carabelas – Delicious seafood and plenty of options. It did not disappoint. Beach & Pool The beach is groomed every morning and looks absolutely stunning. There are plenty of chairs, but if you’re hoping for a Bali bed, plan to be out there at sunrise. The pool bar always has that perfect Caribbean vibe, and Leandro, the bartender, brings great energy — friendly, knowledgeable, and always fun. Butler Service Our butler, Yefferson, is truly top-notch. This was our second time with him, and he continues to elevate our stay. He handled our restaurant and spa reservations, checked in daily, and made sure every detail of our trip was perfect. He even guided us through the always-fun shopping experience at Don Lucas. His dedication is a big part of why we keep returning. Blossom Spa Blossom Spa remains the best spa we’ve ever visited. This year, it became our “excursion” — we went twice. Once the day after arrival to ease into vacation mode, and again the day before leaving to prepare for the trip home. The hydrotherapy session is a must-do and nearly the best part of the entire experience. The masseuses have magical hands and provide the perfect ending to a perfect day. --- In short: Majestic Colonial Punta Cana continues to feel like our home away from home. The staff, the food, the beach, the spa, and the incredible service make every visit unforgettable. We’re already looking forward to visit number seven.
