Jan 21, 2026Majestic colonial is an amazing option in punta Cana. I want to try all the majestics!
Spent 5 days at the majestic colonial in punta Cana. It was an amazing experience. There was a problem with our room the first day and they upgraded us to the presidential suite. The food was delicious. The steakhouse was top notch. The included water sports were great as well. The butler Agapito was amazing. He checked in several times a day, advised us on food options and activities and answered all of our questions. The experience was top notch. Absolutely will come again.

Darel for President - fantastic Resort
Atmosphere was fantastic. Location was beautiful. Room was spacious and beds were comfortable. Food was so good. Drinks plentiful. Our Butler - Darel - I could not recommend enough. He was so kind, responsive and went above and beyond from the second we got there until we literally got home. We actually are planning to come back next year - and a big part of that - is because of his exceptional service.

Beautiful vacation at Majestic Colonial Punta Cana
It’s was Family trip (vacation) my son Birthday trip. From the beginning of our journey in Majestic Colonial we star fill like home, and we met very good guy (butler) Alberto. He made our vacation nice and easy, I would say he was EXCELLENT+, very friendly man. And also waiter Reyito from international buffet, he made our breakfast experience , very enjoyable.

Solid 4.0-4.5 experience. The resort is beautiful and is pretty large with expansive bar and food options on property. Essentially you cannot be without a drink in hand lol. We stayed from a Tuesday through Saturday and every night there was a performance/show around a theme. The performances were what they were, 3/5 for those. Food options were really catered to tourists so there really wasn’t a local feel to any of the food options, unfortunately. Japanese/French/Mexican/American were the overall predominant options. By day 3, the options were underwhelming. The service is great, shoutout to Samuel who was our personal butler and provided us so much assistance and personal guidance while we stayed. The adults only section was super relaxing. There is a night club on property, a small casino, and small shops. We never had to leave the resort except for one excursion. The rooms were definitely on the dated side but the beds and pillow were definitely comfortable and you always had drinks stocked up. Downside was that late night room service was for a fee. The many pools and swim up bars and private beach was a win too!

Alejandro is absolutely world-class! From the steakhouse to breakfast every single morning, his service was exceptional. He greeted us with the biggest smile, already had our table ready, and even remembered exactly how we like our coffee. His attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism truly elevated our entire experience at Majestic Colonial Punta Cana. He made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for every day!
