  A truly wonderful, relaxing vacation.

  Our 10 day trip was amazing! Our Butler, Danny, put us at immediate ease and checked in with us every day and did everything for us. He provided superior service at every request and he treated us very well...our 1st indication we'd be returning. Danny was a great communicator, easy to reach and very prompt. There is food for every taste and no risk of going hungry. Going to an AI, we never have the highest hopes but the food was good. The Japanese was our favorite with a special shout out to Ricardo Jose. Service excellence regardless if we sat at a tappenyaki table or just stopped in for sushi. We enjoyed breakfast at Rodeo with the beautiful views. It was also very relaxing to enjoy a delicious steak in the evening. Again, amazing service with a special shout out to Alejandro. Leandro at the club swimup bar took great care of us. I made it known that i was highly allergic to vodka and he never forgot. "Vodka, Vodka, Vodka, No Vodka!" He was very careful. We enjoyed his energy and skills. The resort was very clean and the grounds were immaculate. We stayed in a Club room and used those amenities every day. Our housekeeper Clara Diaz was the sweetest and took great care of us. We really enjoyed the theater on the nights we could stay up. We caught Rock and Roll, Michael Jackson and Circus shows. All were very much enjoyable and loaded with incredible talent. We really enjoyed the family side pool. Given a high occupancy rate, there was so much room. It's huuuuuge! At no time on any part of the resort did we feel crowded. We've been back 1 week and booked a return trip for April 2026 (Elegance as Colonial will be closed for updates) and again in November 2026 back to Colonial. We are so excited to return. Beautiful property, gorgeous beach, friendly staff and easily walkable. Fyi...the vendors that come in one night a week were VERY aggressive. A polite "no" was not effective so a little aggression back was necessary.

  Can’t wait to go back.

  We spent 10 incredible days at the Majestic Colonial in early November, and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was truly one of the best places we’ve ever stayed in our 18 years of travelling to Punta Cana. The check-in process was the fastest we’ve ever experienced, and our butler Jacob was always available for anything we needed during our stay, he really was wonderful! I don’t think we have ever stayed on a resort that was so clean, all of the staff were so friendly, and we met a lot of lovely people from all over during our time there. I can see why people make return trips to this resort, it definitely will not be our last. We stayed on the club side in room 3217, it over looked the club pool and our maid Magdalena Cena was so sweet. She kept our room in immaculate condition, and it was great to have little chats with her in the hallway. I was able to put my Spanish lessons to work. Building 3 was a great location, close to the beach and the pool, and walking to the main lobby wasn’t far at all. The weather was outstanding the whole 10 days, if it did happen to rain it only lasted 5-10 mins and it moved out very quickly. The main walkways are covered, so if does rain, you’ll never get wet! The food at this resort was amazing! The main buffet and beach buffet had lots of choices, my favourite was the chicken shawarma at the beach buffet for lunch. We ate at the steakhouse 3 times, and OMG it was so good! The steaks were delicious and cooked perfectly every time. Jesus, Anileidy, and Olvi were so much fun to talk and joke around with, and we were lucky to be seated in their section each time. The Mexican wasn’t my favourite, I love Mexican food, and love spice, honestly I didn’t find it overly flavourful, and if I had been smart I should’ve taken my plate to the Dominican Salad Bar and doctored it up, I believe my fajitas would’ve been outstanding if I had done so. The Teppanyaki experience is always on my husband’s list, we ate there twice, and highly recommend it. The sushi bar was delicious both times and the food and entertainment by the chef is always a good time. On our very first night we watched the ball game at the bar in the sports bar. What a fun night that was. The bartenders were on fire, pouring drinks and dancing the whole time, we had a blast. We did not take in any shows, and when we weren’t watching the ball games we spent our evenings before and after dinner in the lobby bar. We looked forward to seeing Maria’s smiling face every night and FYI, she’s a killer bartender too. I highly recommend the espresso martini, it was my go to! I am also a wine drinker, I typically go for a Pinot Grigio when drinking white, and a Malbec when drinking red, and I found their red and white house wine, not too bad at all. We hope to be back after their renovations are completed!

  Wonderful relaxing vacation.

  Everything was very good - room, food, services, restaurants, bars, pool, beach and spa. Personal butler Agapito was very friendly and extremely helpful.

  Amazing table service!

  Reyita and Luis were phenomenal! Really friendly and attentive hosts. We were so happy to see “Michael Jackson” again - we missed him!

  Friend's Destination Wedding 2025

  We were so excited to be a part of our friend's wedding in Punta Cana. We stayed at the Majestic Colonial Club Side Adult only swim up from 11-8 till 11-14. It was tropical, beautiful, fun filled, romantic, good eats, fun swim up bars, friendly staff. Our butler, Agapito, was amazing. My phone got wet. (Bad choices on my part). I asked for a bag of dried white rice to put my phone in, he brought it to me within a few hrs. He was very accommodating. We definitely recommend this resort. Top notch service and cleanliness. Wonderful memories made.
